Rendering Addnl Assign DFF displays Context Value rather than its segments

I am trying to personalize update appraise page to render Additional Assignments DFF but after rendering it to true..... It just displays Context Value rather than its segments........
Oracle Guru's any suggestions?

You need to provide the Descriptive Flexfield Segment List value in the format
Global Data Elements|[global segment1]|[global segment2]||...||Context1|[segment1 for context1]|[segment2 for context1]||...||Context2|....

I have requested the Maximum value using the Statistics VI. The display returns the latest value rather than the maximum. I think it may have to do with specifying the sample size or data packet size but I don't know how to do that.

You probably are only taking a single reading with the DAQ Assistant and the Statistics function expects an array to determine the max value in that array. There are a couple ways to do what you want. One way is to use the Array Min & Max Single Point function (Signal Processing>Point by Point>Other Functions). This has a sample length input and a reset input. Another way is to create an array with a shift register and use the Statistics function or just the Array Min & Max function. You could limit the size of the array with Array Subset for example.

Sorting Map on values rather than keys

Is it possible that I can have a Map which is sorted based on values rather than keys ?
If not is there an alternative.
Basically I have keys as strings and values as integers.
The values keep incrementing and at the end I want to get the top 50 keys based on the values.

Sorting a Map by values is not a good idea, I did something similar before, it doesn't support the design, but it is better in performance, which is implementing a custom class (name it Record) that contains two members: key and value, create a record and insert it into a SortedSet e.g. TreeSet.
make sure to do the following:
1. This custom class must implement Comparable and compares two values
2. Override euqlas method and accept strings (check using instanceof) then compare it to the key so you can retrieve the records using the key (to let it work as a map)
Now you have a sorted set with key,value pairs, use the add method to insert a new pair, use the remove to retrieve the desired object and the set is already sorted :)

Quicktime plugin displaying SDP file rather than video in Internet Explorer

I'm developing a streaming video application. Quicktime plug-in with firefox works fine. With I.E., the contents of the SDP file gets displayed (line by line) rather than the specified video.
Any thoughts?

You need to write your HTML so that it supports both the <EMBED> and <OBJECT> tags AND you need to invoke the QuickTime plug-in so that your stream plays in QT regardless of the browser's default settings. Hi. I have a number of users asking this question. On their Mac, when trying to "Save As", how do they get to sort the contents of the target folder by "Kind" rather than by "Name". The default way results in a muddled display of files and folders. It would be nice to Have all the folders listed, and then the file names. (See below)
In Finder, I have this button,

Sorry, I should have mentioned, the 'save as' is from Word, Excel etc. In Text editor, I see the Kind header, but it is just a lable, not an active column.
It can be done in Excel also.

How to print Cell Formula rather than its Result?

Hi,
I work with data that includes lots of multiple fractions, and print reports showing results of various calculations based on the fractions. The fractions themselves can be important, so I need to be able to display them when used in a formula.
For example, in one cell (cell A1) I need to enter "1/3 * 13/21"; I need to display this formula when I print. Cell A2 would contain a specific number, like "141.5". Cell A3 needs to calculate A1 * A2.
In order to provide a number that A3 can use, I need to enter "=1/3 * 13/21", but when printing this displays "206349". I can format A1 as text, but then A3 won't calculate it. I tried using "Value(A1)*Value(A2)" in A3, but it looks like Value will only accept a decimal number.
So, is there any way to format some cells in a sheet (but not all cells) to display the cell contents rather than the result? Or a way to enter a fraction as text and have another cell evaluate the fraction or formula?

Unfortunately, that option does not work for my purposes. Below is a row that Numbers will allow me to print.

Next is the row as I desire to print it (but have not figured out how to print):

So in other words, I only want the first cell in the row to print as text. My clients need to see the equation in the first cell, not its calculated result. But for each following cell, they need to see the result; if I print the functions and cell references, as in the 3rd example, my report won't make any sense at all to my clients.
Quattro Pro on Windows allowed me to do this easily. I switched to Mac and Excel 2008, and found a difficult workaround solution to accomplish this; but Excel is a dog of a program, with many bugs still. I'd much prefer to work with Numbers, but unless I can do something about the printing issue, I'll have to stick with Excel, or run Quattro under VMWare Fusion.

Firefox asks me everytime on JNLP files rather than its set 'Java Web Start'

See I have classes with a 'Java Web Start' program which every week I download different JNLP files to start the Java program.
I have set fire fox to use 'Java Web Start Launcher' for JNLP files but every time it ignores my setting and still asks every time. What can I do to make not ask and open the JNLP files?
This Happened: Firefox does this all the time.

You mention that "I've downloaded "jcert.jar", "jnet.jar" and "jsse.jar" and put them in "..jre/lib/ext" used by JWS in client". Did you manually move these jar files into ..jre/lib/ext or using jnlp extension. I been trying to use jnlp extension (wanted to make it unnoticable to our client) to do this for a while now without luck. Can you tell me how you going about do this?

I used to be able to do this using paste and match style, but now instead of showing the link name as on the website of origin it is pasting the whole URL. thanks
