I have Pre7 and Pse7 I have NEVER had a issue with burning a project.I exported 1 PSE 7 slide show and then added some more pics on pre 7 .Have it all set to burn it won't.I need some answers ...?please project due tomorrow. Larkn5
Have you resized your photos to no larger than 1000x750 pixels, per the FAQs to the right of this forum?
Can you also be more specific about what happens when you try to burn and at what point it's failing? "It won't burn" doesn't give us much to work with.

MS Outlook 2013 seems to work fine for a while until a) enough time passes or b) I have multiple MS Outlook windows open. Then I start to see all sorts of graphical issues ranging from certain parts of the outlook window not rendering to certain functions
locking etc. Occassionally, when I decrease from full screen I get the screens to render correctly, making me think there's something unique with full screen mode that is causing the issue. There seems to me to be quite a bit of memory issues
with this version.
I have a beast of a graphics card, 32gb of RAM, and a fast SSD, so don't think its the machine.

If it's specific to Outlook, consider to check the hardware acceleration option:
Go to FILE tab -> Options -> Advanced -> Display -> Disable hardware graphics acceleration, turn this option on or off to check the result.
If the issue persists, please also consider whether any 3rd-party add-ins are interfering with Outlook, we can start Outlook in Safe Mode:
Press Win + R, type "outlook.exe /safe" in the blank box, press Enter.
If there's no problem in Safe Mode, disable the suspicious add-ins to verify which caused the problem.

Outlook 2013: Memory smudge, or screen rendering problems due to laggy?

I am observing a strange occurrence among some of my users with Outlook 2013. When they open a few new emails, whether they minimize or switch to another emails to read, there is some portion of the previous emails left behind. It is like a digital
smudge of the previous screen left hanging there. It will go off after awhile

if this is due to lack of memory.
Thanks.The answer given in the link you referenced is the most likely solution to your issue as it is often caused by the graphics card driver.
Make sure you have the latest driver installed and if that doesn't solve it, disable the hardware graphics acceleration.

I know Mac's are essentially virus free, but my Mac is beginning to act like a PC. Here are some of the problems or symptoms I've experienced:
1. One of the most prominent symptoms was a thin, black border that appeared on many applications. It always surrounded one of the folder icons on my desktop. If I was asked to type in a password, the space where you type in the password would be surrounded with the black border. If I opened Disk Utility, the panel on the left that lists my drives was surrounded by a black border.
Curiously, that issue has apparently disappeared.
2. On a couple occasions when I clicked the Apple icon to restart my computer, instead of seeing the choices Restart, Shut Down and Log Out MyName, it said Restart, Restart, Shut Down, Shut Down, Log Out MyName, Log Out MyName.
3. The last time I tried to restart my computer, I got a message that it couldn't restart until I closed DataSettings, or something like that. I clicked Restart again, and it worked the second time.
4. When I repair my disk permissions, I always get three "ACL" errors. I haven't researched this issue thoroughly, but I understand it's controversial and may not really be a problem. I've been told that the Leopard update 10.5.2 should fix it. However, I first noticed the problem AFTER I installed that update.
5. I opened Photoshop, created an image and saved it to the desktop, only to discover SEVERAL copies of the image, one with the name I assigned, the others named Picture1, Picture2, or something like that.
6. My external keyboard stopped working. At first, it stopped intermittently, making me think I was simply suffering from sticky key syndrome. But it got progressively worse until it simply ceased functioning, though the keyboard built into my laptop continued to work. When I restarted my computer, my external keyboard worked fine.
The first four problems I listed are essentially annoyances which have caused no problems that I'm aware of. The other two are serious problems.
My longest running problem relates to closing programs. Many programs won't close, unless I right-click on their icon in the dock and choose Quit or Force Quit. I would classify this as another annoyance; it can be a pain in the butt when I want to restart my computer but first have to right-click on several icons to make sure everything is closed.
In fact, I may have already found the culprit. I heard about a cool browser plugin in from http://www.piclens.com/ and installed it on both Safari and Firefox. It was a complete disaster. It doesn't work in either one, after which Firefox crashes and Safari freezes EVERYTHING; I can't continue until I press Command-Option-Esc and quit Safari.
I think the thin black borders appeared about the time I installed this extension. I think the second problem I listed - the thin black border - appeared about the time I installed this plugin. Many of the other problems I listed also popped up just recently, though the ACL permissions errors have been with me a little longer.
But is it possible for a browser plugin to cause such a diversity of problems? I contacted PicLens.com for technical support. I want to try and fix it before I uninstall it. In fact, I'm a little nervous about uninstalling programs, lest I do it wrong and make things worse.
Anyway, can anyone shed any light on my situation?

CS5 Bridge - zoom in review mode
This is what I would like to do in Bridge: In review mode with 2 photos side by side be able to match zoom. Is there any way to do this or is the magnifiying loupe the only option? If the the loupe is the only option how can I request Adobe look into this? It sure would be handy if you could match zoom and pan around to compare two similar photos.

but my desktop at work has some issues I ve already described above.
This must be some picture rendering / memory issue... perhaps Windows 7
fault. I use Vista 64 on the laptop, everything works perfectly fine there.
I dont know, im really tired with trying to solve this out.
Pains though, since review mode is extremly efficient in fast image
sorting. Oh well.... guess I need to pass on this one, since Im clearly
the only one with the issue. Perhaps future system wipe will solve it,
when the maintance time will come. Its up to IT guys now I guess.

Bridge selectively ignores JPGs in Review Mode

as you can see, Bridge selectively denies to render jpg images in review mode.
This happens in various catalogues, with photos made with different cameras, I really see no pattern here.
If I press Escape, return to main view and then again go into Review Mode, Bridge refreshes the missing photos and renders them correctly HOWEVER he then picks up a new set of images from the same folder, he chooses to ignore. The very same pictures he displayed normaly the first time.

High memory usage when rendering
Hi.
Using a new cs4 system: I start a new 1080i project.
I dynamically link to a new AE file. Within the AE file I put one 4mb jpg running over 20 seconds, and save.
Back to Ppro, I put the AE comp on the timeline.
At this point, Task Manager shows that PPro is using 0.5 gb ram.
I render the 20 seconds of the timeline which has the AE clip.
After rendering, Task Manager shows PPro as using almost 2GB ram.
But this ram doesn't seem to get freed up again... so after a few minutes more working, I start to get ram warning messages.
I've tried changing the "Optimise rendering for Performance / Memory, but this doesn't have much effect.
So I've got a new system with loads more memory than my old XP cs3 system - yet the performance in PPro is nothing like as good.
After rendering, I can save, close and open the file again - it's marked green for rendered, and the memory is back to 0.5gb. But then I have to let it generate the PE file again (see other thread). And I shouldn't have to close the programme between every render, I'm sure.
Suggestions very welcome to get what should be an awesome system up to scratch.

We were just testing on other projects and things seemed far more normal.
This project is huge, about 50MB saves, I think I'm going to start a cut down version and lose a lot of the old stuff.
In the problematic project I was using Sapphire plugins and Zaxwerks Invigorator 1.0.2, although just 3 objects on one layer. The Sapphires are MatteOps, Gradient... I think that's it.
I guess Zaxwerks is likely suspect although I thought it was reputable.
There are also 750 plugins in total on the machine. These are Sapphire, Zaxwerks, Magic Bullet, some DigiEffects and Trapcode Suite. All of with I thought were supposed to be stable.
If it is Zaxwerks is there anything I can do to get around the issue? Except either to not use it or to reset After Effects every 10mins.

Low Memory when rendering a video file (Win 8.1; HP Envy 700-230qe)
Rendering a 4-minute video (with several video tracks) using Sony Vegas Pro13, keeps stopping around 70-80% of completion --- saying that there's low memory.
How could that happen on a HP Envy 700-230qe with 32GB DDR3 memory?
I look at the Task Manager: the "Commited" memory keeps increasing during the rendering until it hits the full number (36 GB in my case) and then the memory is depleted, which stops the render.
(No changes to the system except addition of an SSD drive as main drive, and a Blu-ray burner)

I understand that you are having issues with rendering a video using Sony Vegas Pro 13. I suggest you look to the Vegas Pro - Video as it would appear there are settings within the software that should help you. If you cannot find a post that matches what you are trying to do or the issue you are facing I suggest you post there as it would appear that their are numerous community members there that are willing to help.

we r using os 10.6.8 and 7.0.3 fcp,in that rendering with unlimited option out of memory warning is displayed, 10gb RAM.no stills are there.there are hd standard videos
What format are your sources and what are your sequence settings? I'd guess that you're working with h.264 material which is not fcp friendly. If so, use compressor to conver to prores422

"File Error" and "Out of Memory" when rendering FCE
Dear all,
I imported a 2 hour holiday video into FCE.
When rendering the video, a message appears that the rendering process will last about 15 minutes to complete.
However, frequently I am warned by the following message:
"File Error: The specified file is open and in use by this or another application"
When activating Rendering again, the render time is now increased to about 45 minutes.
I now either receive a couple of times the message: "File Error: The specified file is open and in use by this or another application" >>or even worse: "Out of memory"<<.
Today I purchased an addition 2GB of memory to increase my memory form 750 MB to 2.5GB !!!
Can anyone please tell me what could be the cause of these messages and how to solve them?
BTW, no other programs are running while I use FCE.

The error message means FCE is trying to rewrite a file that it is currently using. It could be mistakenly trying to save a render file, if you're only rendering, or if you're trying to re-export a file, you'll get that message.
Try dumping all your render files, restarting FCE and trying again.
The Out of Memory error almost always points toward a corrupt file. Could be a source file, could be a render file. Again, dump your render files and try again.
If these don't work, you need to close FCE, take all your source media offline, then open FCE. Now, reconnect each clip one by one until you find the corrupt clip. Keep going, there may be more than one. Re-capture the corrupt clips and you should be good to go. -
JSF: partial page rendering is causing memory leak leading to outofmemory
JDeveloper 10.1.3.2.0
JDK: 1.6.0_06
Operating System: Windows XP.
I test my application for memory leaks. For that purpose, I use jconsole to monitor java heap space. I have an edit page that has two dependent list components. One displays all countries and the other displays cities of the selected country.
I noticed java heap space keeps growing as I change country from country list.
I run garbage collection and memory usage does not go down. If I keep changing the province for 5 minutes, then I hit a java heap space outofmemory exception.
To narrow down the problem, I removed the second city component and the problem still exists.
To narrow it down further, I removed autosubmit attribute from the country component and then memory usage stopped increasing as I change country.
country/city partial page rendering is just an example. I am able to reproduce the same problem on every page where i use partial page rendering. My conclusion is PPR is causing memory leak or at least the autosubmit attribute.
This is really bad. Anyone out there experienced same issue. Any help/advice is highly appreciated !!

I haven't seen this problem myself, no.
To clarify - are you seeing this behaviour when running your app in JDeveloper, or when running in an application server? If in JDeveloper, a copuple of suggestions:
* (may not matter, but...) It's not supported to run JDev 10g with JDK 6

Out of memory when rendering...mystery! urgent help!
ok, this is mysterious. and stressful, because of course it happens when i have to output this and get on a plane.
I created a stereo sequence which is high def, 3840x1080. photo jpeg. it has stills, and embedded hdv sequence content.
out of memory error when exporting quicktime movie, either through fcp or compressor.
so i have gone to the individual sequences (left and right) which are normal hdv sequences with video and stills, and out put a quicktime of each. i'll import the quicktimes and build the stereo sequence with these two quicktime files.
the right sequence rendered, and output as a quicktime movie just fine.
the left sequence failed, out of memory error.
so i started rendering the sequence a bit at a time to find where the problem is. the problem is on two pieces of hdv footage, and a few frames of a photo.
HERE'S THE STRANGE THING:
except for the few frames of still photo, which are in a transition of text overlay, everything is identical to the right sequence which rendered and output JUST FINE! the only difference with the text is that its position is slightly different...but 97% of it rendered just fine. I found one still which was grayscale which i've changed to RGB, but still no difference in being able to render. and it rendered in grayscale on the right sequence.
I've changed my scratch disk to a drive with over a tb of space, I have 5gb of RAM with only fcp running, on a dual core 2.67 mac pro.
help!Deleting FCP Preferences:
Open a Finder window. Set the view mode to columns:
Click the house icon that has your name next to it.
Click the folder "Library" in the next column.
Find and click the folder "Preferences" in the next column.
Find and click the folder "Final Cut Pro User Data" in the next column.
Move the files "Final Cut Pro 6.0 Prefs", "Final Cut Pro Obj Cache" and "Final Cut Pro Prof Cache" to the Trash and empty it.
When you have a stable set of preference files, download [Preference Manager|http://www.digitalrebellion.com/pref_man.htm] to back them up. If you have further problems, the backup can be recalled and you can continue working. -
'out of memory' error in rendering
I'm preparing a series of sequences that i want to output in uncompressed 10-bit PAL (720 x 576) for a high quality wide-screen projection display. The bulk of the footage was acquired on uncompressed 10-bit and edited (along with other clips imported from other formats) in that format. Almost all the sequences have worked fine and look great. I'm stuck on one that includes a clip which is made up of a layered compilation of five still images which I have imported from JPEGs (varying resolutions, up to 3000 pixels wide). I'm having trouble rendering this composite image. Every time I try to render the clip, the render dialogue comes up but, after a few minutes, is replaced by a message saying 'out of memory'.
The sequence presets are Blackmagic PAL - 10 bit. The system is based on a Mac Pro 3.0G Quad Core Intel with 2G RAM and a 2T RAID array for media storage. I'm using Final Cut Pro 6.0.3You might also try resizing the images to the smallest size you can get away with, regarding your 720x576 frame size and any movements you put on them.

While opening specific Document "Not enough Memory" while rendering the Document with Large Image
When Opening a PDF-File with a Large Image, the Adobe Reader and Acrobat will Crash while rendering with the Message Out of Memory.
After some investigations this error is reproducable on Windows 2008 R2 and 2012 R2 Machines running on HP ProLiant BL460c Gen8.
The Servers are updated with the latest Firmware from HP.
This error does not occure on a Virtual Machine running Windows 2008 R2, so it seems like a Hardware dependent Bug.
When disabling the Option Show large Images, the error will not Show up. But this is neither a solution nor a workarround, as we Need to Display all Information in the PDF.

Indeed the Output File can be opened without any Errors. It's a good workarround, but it's not a solution.
Why does it work (and much faster) on a Virtual Machine, but not on a very Powerful HP Machine?
I hope Adobe will investigate in this case to solve it completely.
We have a test machine where we could install some debug tools, are there any to get a deeper analysis of this problem?
