Rendering Project - Audio failure

Hi,
I've just finished a music video, where the sound was recorded separately. I synchronized the sound with the picture by slowing it down 1%. Everything works fine in the work area, but after rendering or exporting the project the sound goes back, speeds up that 1% unsynchronizing it!
Is there a trick here that I should apply before rendering or exporting??

I got it :)!! I just had to take off the starting audio transition which I guess messed up the thing! Thanks anyway!!

  • Clip Notes rendering without audio

Using Premiere Pro 2.0,  A fan of Clip Notes.  The application is rendering projects without audio.  Checked Adobe.com for a download fix.  There is indeed a download for this problem.  I have downloaded and unzipped the files, there are presets for Clip Notes.  My problem; how do I install/deploy this fix?  The unzipped presets are just sitting on my desktop.

    Craig,
This was obviously sent to the forum via e-mail. Your complete sig. appears in the reply. This is not a good idea, as it contains personal info. As these fora are open, one never knows who might be lurking. Also, there are 'bots that crawl around here, just looking for personal info. Even our Personal Messaging system was recently attacked by spammers.
Just something to consider, and please update the thread, with the exact steps required. Seems that I updated my PrPro 2.0 ClipNotes, but that was so long ago, that I do not recall the exact process.

  • Captivate 5 - Project Audio Window won't open

When I go to Audio > Edit > Project on any one of my projects, it tells me that it will delete captions (as usual) then when I push "Yes"....... nothing.  I won't be able to do anything else in captivate (as usual) but there's no edit window.  I thought maybe it was being slow, but I sat and waited for a goodly amount of time and nothing.  I have to push "Esc" to be able to work in Captivate again.
It's almost like the window is there, but hidden... I thought maybe I had dragged it to the side of my screen out of sight at one point, but I haven't been able to find it.
The Edit > Slide window works fine.  It's just the Edit > Project that doesn't work.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,
I am guessing that the dialog opens but goes behind the main Captivate application window.
Can you check the following -
    1. Launch Captivate and resize the application window to a small size.
    2. Drag the application to a corner of the window (keep the center of screen empty)
    3. Now add audio to project and open 'Audio > edit> project'
See if you can now see the project audio edit dialog.

  • How do I synch project audio to video ??

I recently digitized my old vhs tapes using a Roxio converter. I brought the files into iMovie11 and then split the events into smaller projects. With some of the projects, the entire project audio track ended up being out of synch with the video. How do I re-synch them ??  This is my first experience with iMovie and it looks like fun once I learn the details.
    All help is apprecitated, Thanks

    I suggest...
First insert a blank clip at the beginning and end of your movie, so you will have some room to move the sound around. You can find a blank black clip under the Maps Tab on the middle toolbar.
Now, select your clip and right-click/Detach Audio. Now you can drag the audio right or left.

  • Pe10: opening a previously saved and rendered project, the work area indicates non-rendered sections

Pe10: when I open a previously saved and rendered project, the work area indicates a majority of non-rendered sections.
When I open a previously saved and rendered project, the work area indicates non-rendered sections. My project is approximately 59 minutes and 27 seconds.
What must be done to have a saved and rendered project, when open again, be rendered?

The price tag of $245 for the Prodad's Mercalli  video software is too steep for me right now.
Corel's Avid VideoStudio Pro X4 Ultimate (what a mouthful) includes Mercalli SE. It was on sale at half-price on Amazon Black Friday and I missed it - mostly because I was trying to find out what the 'SE' part of it meant.
Annoyingly (very much so) it seems that Mercalli SE is pretty much the whole deal - a YouTube review of the Mercalli feature in VideoStudio by ProDAD (the Mercalli authors) included all the features I would expect to use.
So it seems that the $80 VideoStudio product includes the $150 Mercalli plug-in. Thus a workflow starting with Mercalli stabilisation in VideoStudio and then switching to PRE is viable. I can't really afford the full price VideoStudio product so I'm hoping for a similar 50% reduction after Christmas.

  • CS3: How to change projects audio samplerate in the middle of the post-production

    Dear premierers,
I was handed a ready started project to finnish with Premier pro CS3 (Windows 2000). Video material is DV-PAL / 48 kHz which was captured with correct parameters, eg. the AVI-files audio samplerate is 48kHz. Unfortunately the first editor had managed to set the project audio samplerate setting to 44100 Hz, which means all the DV material has been conformed from 48kHz to 441.kHz. The projects is quite complicated and has much nested sequences.
I have tried to figure out a way to transfer the sequences into another project (having samplerate of 48kHz), but there seems to be no other choice but EDL's and they do not support nested sequences. I am also not able to run two instances of the Premiere CS3 to try copy paste over two projects.
Is there any way to recover from the situation, so that the DV material would be untouched and only the audio effects having samplerate of 441.kHz would be conformed to 48kHz?

Thanks! I was thinking to combine the PDFs.It seems that if i wanna stick to Pages i have to break what should be a normal document into a gazillion pieces and files and then have to work on other document to put them all together again. As i said this is not something to look away for. It should be quite a basic feature, after all that's what Mac is about right?
Timesaving features, easy to use, and reliable. iWork 08 lacking stuff like this and autosave don't just get heavily penalized on the exact things they promote but really make you think otherwise. I wonder if it was so hard to implement them!?!
Thanks anyway, problem solved with a workaround
That's not the Mac way...or should not be.

  • Is Editing a rendered project in CS5.5 possible?

Is it possible to edited a previusly rendered project in CS5.5? Also, in tutorials reference to accessing the render queue is required but, I can't find it. Help!

    Welcome to the forum.
When you say, "a project after rendering," do you mean a Project, that has been Rendered (hitting Enter/Return) for smoothest playback, or do you mean a Project, that has been Exported to a separate AV file?

It's because the PowerMac G5 had HUGE bandwidth with a fat BUS on each processsor so they could run hard, hot and heavy.
It's not so with the Intel processors which are multi-core and share a common bus thus bottleneck.
The newer Intel processors can do more work on the CPU, but when it comes to in/out they are s-l-o-w.
I've had a wickedly fast dual processor (not dual core) G5, RAID 0 pair of 10,000 RPM drives as boot and a fast video card, I could do a lot very very fast.
You'll likely have to upgrade to Final Cut X to get more cores utilized, prepare to cry a little bit, Apple is working on the features they stripped out of it to make amends to pro users who complained loudly. (all over TV too)

  • Rendering different audio/video than shown in the timeline.

    Here's a really odd problem.
I'm using Adobe After Effects CS3 on Windows XP.  I have an edited short film.  It looks fine if I render and play it in after effects.  And if I use the export on the file menu that works works for exporting the video but the audio come up out of synch.  So imagine a video clip starts at 00:03:00, the associated video will play like it's coming from 00:01:00.  (I doubt it's a exactly 2 second difference I'm just guessing from listening.)  Usually I use the "Render Queue" for exporting though.  The real oddity is the render queue, it renders the audio and the video in synch but both mistmatched from what they are supposed to be about the 2 seconds back.  Anybody see this problem before?

Actually the Render Queue is the only one that gives me entirely bad results.  The Render Queue keeps the synch but takes everything from the wrong position.  So all the clips start like 2 seconds-ish earlier than they ought to.  Just export through file menu preserves the correct video but messes up the audio.  That said, I generally agree Render Queue is the way to go.
Anyway, sorry I should have mentioned the rendering format.  As far as I have found it has the same mistake in every format I render to.

I can delete unused files from the Bin, but doing that does not delete them from the project audio folder. The only way I've found to get rid of the unused files to to save a copy. Is there another way?

  • Popping and clicking in audio of rendered project files since installing OS Maverick.  Any suggestions?

I have a project which I rendered a few months ago with no issues.  Now after installing OS Maverick, the exact same project will render but the audio has popping and cracking in it.  The audio sounds fine when played in the timeline, the issue only occurs when rendering.  I have alread tried selecting prevent app nap and also i tried to delete rendered files and neither have worked.
Has anyone had a similar issue or have suggestion for fixing this problem?

swdm75, you may be a bonafide genius - I've been dealing with this issue for YEARS, and it never occurred to me that it could be a Quicktime issue!
I just rendered a project, played it back in Quicktime, and the audio had all sorts of stutter.
Sigh. Great, what the **** do I do know?
I read your Quicktime hypothesis, copied the file over to my PC, played it in Windows Media Player...
    ...NO MORE STUTTERING!!!
The issue is almost certainly Quicktime - the stutter isn't a permanent part of the rendered audio, its a failure on the part of the player!
Dude, I can't thank you enough for posting this - I've had stuttering issues since I started using FCPX, and this is the first I've read about it being a Quicktime issue.
    You rock.

  • Open video file of rendered project?

    Hello,
I made a slideshow in iPhoto then output it to iDVD. Everything worked fine, except my audio was not what I wanted. I cannot change anything in iPhoto anymore because I lost my entire library. I still have the slideshow and I want to edit it somehow. Is there anyway I can take the rendered video out of it and import it into iMovie so I can change the music track?
    Thanks,
    Adam

That is taking a DVD and ripping it to a video file...which isn't what I am wanting to do, but I may have to do as a last resort. I am wanting to either edit the audio extract the video from an iDVD project.
I have opened up the package of my project, and there is a folder in it labeled "Audio" with a .aif file in it that is the soundtrack to my slideshow. I replaced this .aif with a .aif of the same length and same name, thinking that would take care of my problem, but it did not use my new .aif for some reason. There is also a folder called video that has a quicktime file...but I cannot open it without getting an error.
    And other suggestions?

  • Rendered project and have lost the sound

I am using the trial version of adobe premiere pro CS5. I had completed my project and rendered it. However, after rendering I played it back and appear to have lost the sound. The files are there, they seem intact but there is no sound coming out!
Dont know if i need to click something???!!! But need help quick!
    Thanks
    Ellie

Glad that you found the culprit.
Just want to point out that the trail version does not handle anything MPEG-2, and not that much in other flavors of MPEG. Just keep that in the back of your mind, should you get a failure to Import such material, or go looking of Export Presets, that are not there.
    Good luck,
    Hunt
