Rendering size incorrect

Hi,
for me, encore creates blu ray discs which are much too big in size. I imported a 3h sequence from premiere (tried the same also with a 40GB  pre-rendered avi) and trimmed it to 1.5h length. But encore doesn't seem to care about my trimming. The estimated disc size is always 40GB which matches the 3h length. When exporting to ISO, the file really has 40GB.
Doing the same thing with DVD export, it works. Trimming reduces the disc size.
This looks like a bug to me.
Any ideas?
- Stefan

You have made a 16:9 movie and QuickTime Player is showing it as 4:3, correct?
Open your movie in QuickTime Player. Press command and J keys and click on the Presentation tab in the Properties window.
Click on the Conform Aperture button and set it to "Clean".

  • When I add my composition to the Adobe Media Encoder from After Effects, it renders out incorrectly?

Why is it that when I add my composition directly from after effects to the adobe media encoder, it renders out of the adobe media encoder incorrectly? By that I mean the video comes out a little scrambled- parts of it overlap other parts. Is this an issue with 'dynamic link'? Did I do something wrong? I'm working in CC.

I also don't understand what you are saying. What do you mean by "parts of it overlap other parts"? A screen shot might help.
What were your render settings in AME? (Format, Codec, data rate, etc.)
What is in your AE comp? If footage, tell us what format, codec, etc. Tell us what effects were used too.
What exact version number of AE CC are you using?

  • Help, mostly with rendering size, not file size, actual size

I made a short 4 second movie in after effects cs5, there are really no fancy effects, just a car with wheels turning driving across the screen, the size is super small at 167px width x 315px height. It's 30 fps.  It's from a set of three, I have no major issues with the other two but for some reason, when I render this one, it comes out super blurry/pixelated and the size is twice of what it should be, it's not too size of how I built it, and I can't resize it.  I think it looks so bad because it isn't coming out the right size, but I can not for the life of me figure out why. This is for my job, and I have to show it to the higher ups so I need it to look as crisp as possible. Any ideas what would make this happen? I've rendered so many different times, i brought it into Adobe media encoder, I feel like I am just missing some little switch, but can't find it. I render quicktime as an animation, it's so small, it doesn't matter if I do animation.  I've tried at the default settings of best and lossless, I've changed things, I am not sure what else I should do, anybody have any insight? I can provide more info if needed, thanks so much in advanced!

167x315 is your comp size for all three comps and you know this absolutely.
Your render settings are exactly the same for each of the three comps and you know this absolutely.
You shoudl be able to examine the properties of the output movies by either brining them back into AE or using the inspector in QT. Each will show a movie size and a display size. A tiny movie, like 167x315, will look awful if played at normal viewing size of 640x480 because it will be scaled up by twice, each pixel will be four times its native size. That can happen when a flag gets set in QT to display a movie at full screen size which is different from the falge that sets it to display full size.
    Double check everything.
You shoudl be able to render out comp 1, which is good, and then dleete everything in comp 1 and fill it up with stuff copied and pasted out of comp 3. Then you use the exact same render settings again.

  • Outlook 2010 rendering messages incorrectly

My Outlook 2010 is rendering my emails in an encrypted format that I can not read. It always had displayed
these messages fine in the past, but about 5 days ago started delivering them like this. They are coming through an IMAP connection with RackSpace. I did recently install and uninstall Office 2013, but am back to 2010. I'm not sure if that is effecting it.
Rackspace provides a simple web client to view messages and I can see there that the messages are rendering
fine. Wondering if anyone else has come across this problem. I have looked everywhere for a solution, but haven't been able to find anything.
I have provided how the message is rendering below. Anything would be helpful! Thank you!

  • Display Size Incorrect In About This Mac

    Hi
I just noticed that in the About This Mac > More Info > Displays the size of my iMac display is incorrectly shown. The resolution setting is correct as is the video card model but the size is shown as 16.5 inches instead of the 24 inches it should be as a 2008 24 inch iMac.
Anybody have any thoughts on what this means and how to correct it?
    Cheers
    Jeff

    Hi BDAqua
I may put this off a bit as the issue was present when booted in Safe Boot.
Seems that the issue is present for others. This thread is from someone who has an iMac with the same graphics card as mine:
    https://discussions.apple.com/thread/4398260?start=0&tstart=0
    and discussed here:
    https://openradar.appspot.com/12016584
Interestingly, the jump from 10.7.4 to 10.7.4 feels about right for me in terms of the issue showing up.
Looks like there's no solution yet.
    Cheers
    Jeff

  • Rendering Size Problem

In my first Premiere project I am having a rendering problem.  It's a simple 8 minute project with one video track and one audio track.  The video track is 10 fps in .mov format and is 20.5 MB.  The mono audio track is a simple voice over that is 8.3 MB.  The sequence is set at the same size and fps as the video clip.  When I render it, the resultant size is over 500 MB.
I've tried every way I can think of to render it differently, but can't seem to get the size down.  It makes no sense to me that the final size would be so large.  I've watched tutorials and done web searches and I can't find anything that helps me on my question.  I'd appreciate any advice about how to render properly.
    thanks

Depending on what use, you want the exported file for ...you choose a preset that suits.
eg .wmv, H264, QT, FLV etc...
Most will be compressed and that will make your file size smaller.
Tip: work backward from the delivery spec.  If its a youtube  delivery - use a Youtube H264 preset

  • Why is my disk size incorrect

Either I have hidden files or my disk percentage used is incorrect.
Here is what I have when I get info on all my root level folders
    Applications 6.66 G
    Library 7.17G
    System 1.59G
    Users 10G
    usr 407MB
Yet when I get info on my whole HD it says I have a capacity of 74.41GB and 72.91 of that is used. Where is all this extra stuff hiding?
Hopefully someone can help me out as I'm almost out of disk space.

I'm not sure exactly how accurate Whatsize is for finding some sorts of system files. For instance, I just ran the latest version and it shows the Spotlight folder as being 0 bytes. It is actually 88MBs. So I'm not at all sure it would find everything....
You might try this command in Terminal:
    sudo du -cxhd 1 /
hit return and enter your password (which is not echoed to the screen) then hit return again. It will give you a list of all the folders at the root level of the startup drive, in G, M, K and B (human readable form), with a grand total. Here's a sample of my startup drive:
    Tiger:/ francine$ sudo du -cxhd 1 /
    Password:
    88M /.Spotlight-V100
    0B /.Trashes
    512B /.vol
    10.0M /AppAlias
    3.0G /Applications
    1.0K /automount
    3.5M /bin
    0B /cores
    512B /dev
    135M /Developer
    22M /Documents
    1.2G /Downloads
    12G /Library
    512B /Network
    96M /private
    2.2M /sbin
    1.2G /System
    0B /Temporary Items
    6.5G /Users
    453M /usr
    12K /Volumes
    24G /
    24G total
If you want to see what is in some of the invisible folders, for instance the "private" folder, you can use the Finder's Go menu item, select "Go to Folder..." and then type in
    /private
and hit the Go button. You can then put it in List View and have it display by sizes and calculate all sizes using the View Options. This won't work for some system stuff, for instance the Spotlight folder--you need to use the Terminal for those items.

  • Storage Spaces: SSD tier size incorrect when using EnclosureAware option in a pool

    Hi folks,
We're about to deploy Storage Spaces in our test environment, but we encountered an issue while configuring Enclosure Awareness on Storage Pools.
When we create a Storage Pool (over 3 JBOD's) and set the option EnclosureAwarenessDefault to $True, the SSD tier size automatically decreases / shrinks to 12GB (sometimes 18GB sometimes 0GB).
Without EnclosureAwarenessDefault, we get 1110 GB of SSD size available.
The same behavior is seen when enabling -EnclosureAwareness on Storage Space (virtual disk) level.
    A summary of our configuration:
3 SOFS connected twice to each JBOD (LSI 9207-8e - SES 3 ) = HCL certified
3 JBOD arrays (Quanta M4600H) (Firmware Management SCSI Enclosure Service (SES-2) = HCL certified
Each JBOD array has 16 HDD and 4 SSD.
SOFS are fully patched, including KB 2913766
    Below 2 screenshots:

Server manager does not let you set the column count of the space, which means that it is automatically selecting 6 as the column count, as there are 12 SSDs.  Unfortunately, the column count must be less than the number of disks of each type in each
enclosure (limited by 4 SSDs), otherwise space creation will fail, and estimation will produce a small, somewhat random number.  If you create a space through powershell and specify –NumberOfColumns 4 then it should work.
    Hopefully it helps.
Feel free to let me know if you have any question. Thank your for your time.

  • Font size incorrect when printing smartform

    Hi,
I have a smartform containing many smaller windows with frames. One big window should show a word in grey and in big letters behind all the other windows.
In my smartstyles, I have used the font family "HELVE", font style bold and the size 72. When I print to a sap printer device, the word is printed in very small letters and in black. When I´m printing about LOCL and then on the same printer, the fontsize is correct.
What can I do to change that?
The second problem is, that the letters are shown over the frames of the other windows, but it should be completely in the background. I put the window with the backgorund letters as the first window on the screen to get it behind all others, but it´s not working....
    Cheers Arne

there  is   some  proble in printer  setting.....
    contect  the basis person....
    method   for  font  size....
Define the paragraphs & character formats using SMARTSTYLES & use them in your smartform.
You have to give the smartstyle name in the Form attributes-->Output options for the formats to be used in your smartform.
frm ur pc only u can get this font file..
go to control panel , in tat go to font and select your desired font file..
now give the path of this font file in se73..
after doing that this file will be uploaded into ur SAP server.
Se73 - > True type font installation - > Font name - > specify the name of the font file - > execute

  • Library size incorrect

My iPhoto library for 06 is 21GB. I duplicate it and eliminate photos getting it down to 4.2GB (Jan-Apr 06)to burn to DVD. I duplicate the original again (21GB), delete Jan-Apr and attempt to get May-August down to around 4GB to burn another DVD. No matter how many photos I delete (and I've deleted all but 17 photos in May) the library still lists its size as 10.9BG. And yes, I've emptied the trash.
This has happened before, deleting photos and the library size not reflecting the correct size. What am I doing wrong?

    John
Where are you reading the library size?
In the iPhoto Window the size shown is of the library as shown: the mix of Originals and Modified Pics.
In the Finder, the size of the iPhoto Library Folder is the total Originals, totla Modifieds, thumbnails and database files.

  • PO Custom Data tab size incorrect after EHP4 installation

    Hello,
We have previously enlarged the size of the custom data tab on PO transaction ME23N (via modification) in order to accommodate a comprehensive overview of the many custom fields we have. The screen we changed is as follows:
    Program: SAPLMEGUI
    Screen: 1227
    Original size:
    - Lines/columns Occupied 5 / 100
    Mainten. 5 / 100
    Modified size:
    - Lines/columns Occupied 23 / 160
    Mainten. 23 / 160
It worked out fine in our ECC6.0 Release 700 (SP17).
Recently we upgraded to Release 701 (SP03). We have made the same modification to the same screen as mentioned above. However, the screen was not resized as we had expected. Its size stays as 5/100. So the user has to scroll through a very short subscreen in order to see all custom fields.
Have anyone of you experienced this ( or any UI related issues)  after installing enhancement pack 4 of ECC 6?
Any of your suggestions are appreciated.

  • QR Code capacity with fixed rendered size and dynamic data

There's a paper forms barcode and symbology is QR Code, layout is 46mm x 46mm, error correction level is M, module width is 0.592mm, and max capacity is Chinese(UTF8) x 88 or number x 627 or uppercase A x 380 or lowercase a x 263, and QR code renered size is about 30mm x 30mm when max capacity.
So, my question is, if I want to ALWAYS keep this QR code renered size is same as max capacity(30mm x 30mm), but my daya is dynamic and mix numeric, alphanumeric and byte mode, is there any formula to calculate how may character such as space should be appended?
    thanks

The more data you stuff into the barcode, the bigger it will be. I am not sure that there is a formula you can use to calculate how much buffer space you need to keep the barcode the same size. At least I have not seen one.

  • Image size incorrectly in Mail

    Hello!
I have a problem with mail since Mountain Lion. The problem is on all my Macs traceable and probably not an individual problem.
    The following procedure:
    - I open my mail and create a new mail
    - From the Finder I pull into an image, for example, 2 MB
    - The image is sent at the end of the message and Windows compatible
    - I put on original size
I close my mail, because until now it's correct.
Now I create an e-mail again and draw the same picture in again, another picture does not change the behavior:
Mail does say it is the original size of the image, the image has only 10 KB According status bar in mail.
Thus, the image is of course the recipient accordingly small and not useful.
Only the adjustment of size to medium and back to original size makes the image on the full 1 MB back.
During the entire operation, but the picture shows me mail on my Mac in the large size of optically.
Can understand someone or is there a solution?
    Thank you!
    Greetings
    Dominik
This Image has 151 KB and it's shown as 10 KB in Actual Size...

The appearance will vary depending on the picture content, but if you start of with a big picture (3000x2000 pixels) and reduce it to 320x240 you are throwing out a lot of pixels. I would suggest going for the medium (640x480) or even the large (1280x960) if you want to preserve any picture quality.
When I am sending a picture I generally use scaling in GraphicConverter first.

  • Data size incorrect?

    Hi,
If I click on Time Machine in System Preferences it reports that my TM has 1.06Gig and that 767Gig is free. The problem is that it is a 2Tbite TC and therefore it appears to be reporting the wrong size free and the wrong size used?
If I enter TM and then go back to System Preferences the size inconsistency corrects itself.
How do I go about fixing this issue? Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.
    Before:
    After:

Yeah.. there used to be a small inconsistency between digital and binary bytes... but your computer is seeing the TC wrongly in such a major way I cannot think of an explanation.. nor do I think any of the posts I read have queried such a difference.
My only recommendations are the typical ones.
    1. Factory reset the TC.
    2. Ensure the naming is 100% SMB compatible.. that simply means all the names are short with no spaces and pure alphanumeric. Since Mavericks Apple has moved to SMB network protocol by default. It is a problem. And everything.. computer, TC base station and wireless names.. all should comply.
    3. IPv6 is now vital to the operation of TC in the Apple network. If you have not yet set it manually to link-local only . please do so.
eg for wireless. But should also cover ethernet if you use it.
You can also make sure ipv6 is set correctly in the TC.. although it should be fine by default.
    Will any of this help??
No idea.. because we have never seen the problem before.

  • Drive size incorrect

I just dropped an image I took of a imac G5 onto a powerbook, and it reads the drive size as 120 GB or so. The actual drive is only 80GB.
What gives? How do I fix it?

nope - only f/w. when i check the info on the disk, what should i be seeing under the "owner" section? right now it says "ben" (me) is the owner but under "group" it says "ben" and read only access. if i change it to read and write, it just changes itself back once i close the info window.
