Renewing is not working

This is driving me crazy. I have updated my credit card information in order to re-activate an account. I did this a few days ago, nothing. Did it again today, nothing.
Trying to get support is even more useless - I would like to chat with a tech to get this resolved, but that is literally impossible. Perhaps I will have more luck here...
Does anyone have any ideas? I don't know what else to try, and I don't want to use another credit card - that would make no sense since this is my work card.

Clicking through the Creative Cloud Help, ending up at the "Renew, extend or restart your membership", I get a detailed description of what I need to do it. I did it. Does not work. So I click on "Stil Need Help". Where does that throw me? Back to the help front page. If I click on "Still Need Help", I get "Forums" as a recommended solution. If I click on "What are my contact options" I get a page that lists tons of options, none of them are active. I then click on "Ready to Contact us? Start Here" I get thrown back to the front page of "Help". Honestly, it would be comical if it wasn't so frustrating. I have a job to get done and I am late because of this stupid system.
I am finally in line for customer support on the phone - how did I find the number? I had to call new software sales and ask to be transfered to tech/billing support.

Wi-Fi Renew Lease Not Working

The Wi-Fi connection for my 3Gs on my Airport Extreme home network occasionally quits working, but by doing a Renew Lease under network settings on the phone I 'was' able to get it working again it right away. But now for some reason that no longer works. Any suggestions?
I tried Forget this Network and reconnecting, but that didn't do it.

Well I called Apple and they were absolutely no help. They said the problem was likely with my Airport and not the phone, so I'd have to pay for support. I think that's bogus

Renewing Subscription not working

My subscription expired because of expired card. Updated the card, my billing and payment for the month seems to be updated. However, I still can't open my file and tells me to "Renew my Subscription". Recommends to wait 15 min, but I waited half day. What a waste!! Please help!

Purchasing the same subscription before this date will not reset minutes, it will only extend your subscription expiration date.

Yes, I reported the problem using that exact sequence immediately after discovering the problem with the app. When I submitted my complaint and request, Apple redirected me the website of the app manufacturer where I submitted the same complaint/request for refund. I have not heard back from either, and was still charged, so I can only assume that is not the correct way to "Report a Problem" even though Apple would have you believe otherwise.

Cisco ISE IP Renewal not working

Hi all,
I am setting up a CWA with Cisco ISE to authenticate Guests and Employees by Web and assign them to Two different vlans. The authentication pass. The authZ Profiles are affected. but The IP address did not change according to vlan until I renew it manually from console ( >ipconfig /release >ipconfig /renew). I desactivated Java in browsers, I activated it again and added the IP of the ISE to the Exception List in Java setting but the IP address still not change automatically.
Any Ideas how to fix this Issue?

Make sure you have put a check on the VLAN DHCP Release option.
If you are using ISE 1.3 then your path will be,
Guest Access > Configure > Guest Portals > Create, Edit or Duplicate > Portal Behavior and Flow Settings > VLAN DHCP Release Page Settings.
This affects the Central WebAuth (CWA) flow during final authorization when the network access changes the guest VLAN to a new VLAN. The guest’s old IP address must be released before the VLAN change and a new guest IP address must be requested through DHCP once the new VLAN access is in place. The IP address release renew operation varies by the browser and operating system used; Internet Explorer uses ActiveX controls, and Firefox and Google Chrome use Java applets. For non-Internet Explorer browsers, Java must be installed and enabled on the browser.
The VLAN DHCP Release option does not work on mobile devices. Instead, guests are requested to manually reset the IP address. This method varies by devices. For example, on Apple iOS devices, guests can select the Wi-Fi network and click the Renew Lease button.
For ISE 1.2 version, you can find the same option on the Guest Portal settings.

So, I called today to see if I could upgrade, as my contract for 2 yrs is up on Feb 20th. I've replaced the Droid once already. It was broken, just not by me. Now the thing won't even work, at all. I need this phone as I work for a major company and we use these devices at night to contact one another.
Anyway's, Rep 1 transferred me to Rep 2 saying "Rep 2 has more authority than I". Rep 2 immediately began finger pointing. Basically, said Rep 1 didn't feel like dealing with my situation. So, he was angry, talking fast, and would not "HEAR" what I needed to say. He offered me a few idea's but in the end said he would not / could not help me, although my phone is NOT working, AGAIN.
I told him I would probably be going to another provider, he then began to berate all other provider's. Gosh I hate when CSR's do that !
So,looks like I'm outta here, and this saddens me. I KNOW he could've helped me, he chose NOT too.
9 years I have been Faithful to this Company. This is the thanks I get? Man, this is so Wrong, on so many levels.
I am sure of one thing: Another provider would be happy to have me as a customer.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.

Tecra M7 DVD: CD/DVD RAM drive does not work since installing Vista

I did a clean installation on my Vista Ready new M7. It had XP tablet to begin with and the DVD drive worked fine. Indeed I used it to install Vista (Home Premium).
Now it does not work at all. It spins but does not read. Device Manager tells me device cannot start. Tried to update driver and it told me that it has the most uptodate driver.
Downloaded all the drivers from Tosh download centre for Vista upgrade of M7 (which got bluetooth, screen rotation etc to work fine). But none of the downloads seemed to be a driver for the DVD-Ram drive. Can not find a driver anywhere else (including Panasonic site).
DVD drive is Mat****a DVD-RAM UJ-841s
Any suggestions?

On the Toshiba driver page you can find the DLA for Tecra m7.
Did you try to install the XP DVD-RAM driver from the Toshiba page on the Vista OS?
Maybe it will works
But listen the CD/DVD drive uses the common Microsoft drivers which are included into Vista or XP.
Therefore an additional driver should be not needed!
One additional proposal;
Remove the CD/DVD drive from the device manager and reboot the notebook.
After new reboot the OS should install the drive again and should renew the software.
Other hint:
- Start the registry
- Choose the registry key;
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Class\{4D36E965-E325-11CE-BFC1-08002BE10318}
- In the right pane, right-click UpperFilters and LowerFilters then click Delete.

It is possible that there is a problem with the files sessionstore.js and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.
Delete the sessionstore.js file and possible sessionstore-##.js files with a number and sessionstore.bak in the Firefox Profile Folder.

Wireless not working after suspend (madwifi)

Hi there
I successfully converted from Vista to Archlinux! Everything's working fine (yep, I'm a bit proud as this my second try at linux ) except that after I suspend with powersave my wlan is not working anymore. I've also tried to unload the ath_pci module and restart the network in /etc/powersave/sleep but that doesn't seem to work.
I guess it has something to do with the network deamon because when I try to restart my network manually it says that dhcpcd is already running for ath0... Oh, and also the iwconfig for ath0 seems to be perfectly correct after suspend...
Here's the network part of my rc.conf:
lo="lo 127.0.0.1"
eth0="dhcp"
ath0="dhcp"
wlan_ath0="ath0 essid FeelGood key s:******"
WLAN_INTERFACES=(ath0)
INTERFACES=(lo !eth0 ath0)

Well, maybe you already know this, but: ath_pci (the madwifi driver) is among blacklisted modules (/etc/hibernate/blacklisted-modules), so it gets unloaded during the suspend process. That screws up whatever wireless connection you might have had before suspending. Now if you have the option LoadModules auto in /etc/hibernate/common.conf, it should get loaded after resuming - but that of course doesn't renew the connection. So that I do is I have a short script that calls /etc/rc.d/network restart, and I run it manually after suspending to renew the connections.
BTW, I have this in /etc/hibernate/common.conf:
UnloadBlacklistedModules yes
LoadModules auto

Wireless card seems to be not working

Hello everyone,
I haven't had any problems with my wireless card for my Macbook Pro since I purchased it, but something seems to be acting up now. Here's the situation...I went away for the weekend, took my laptop with me, didn't use the internet at all. Then I came back to my wireless card not working. It has a self-assigned IP address of 169.254.183.17. I did some reading on it and what people of said is that when you have this particular address your computer can't access the internet. I have power cycled both the router and modem correctly without any success.
I have another laptop that is windows based that can connect wirelessly so I've identified that it isn't a router problem. The thing that baffles me is that I can hard wire my Macbook into the router and achieve a connection...any suggestions on what I should try next?

I did go into advanced settings to see what was up. And the TCP/IP tab was the area that I was focusing on. Okay...I did try renewing the DHCP lease and it keeps giving me the unusable IP address. One potential problem that may be contributing to this fiasco is that I think the modem in my household is also a router (which we're just using as a modem). The modem isn't mine so I'm not sure how it was setup. I don't believe that modem is activated to give off a wireless connection. I don't know why it would be a problem because I was connecting to the router just fine before. If the windows based laptop can connect just fine, it wouldn't be the router...(just thinking out loud here).
I was given an option by one of our IT personal at the office that I work at...he said that I could completely remove the network from my saved list and re-enter it. He also said that I would have to delete some temporary files that are saved in a hidden folder that are "preference" files for that specific network. I wasn't able to find that folder, and I did try deleting the network but it didn't seem to fix the situation. If I could simply just go back to square one, as I did when I first connected to the network I'm sure it would fix everything.
I hope this wasn't too long to read, hopefully it gives good insight.
