Rented some tv shows using iTunes on the computer now can't move them to the apple tv
I rented some TV shows using the iTunes on my computer then found I can't move them to the Apple TV (the white one, not the new smaller one).
As long as I wasn't doing anything wrong!
I'm going to try moving the rented TV shows onto my iPad2 and hooking the TV up with the HDMI cable/connector and watch on the TV that way.
Any chance Apple will update the software for Apple TV v.1 to accomodate the latest options of the iTunes Store?

You want to always use iPhoto with a default referenced library (the preference to copy imported item to the iPhoto library is checked) ad then delete the source photos

I've had my Ipod classic 80GB for about 5 years. Yesterday for the first time, I encountered a major problem. My Ipod does not appear in either Itunes or My computer when connected by USB to my laptop.
The I pod just displays the message 'connected - eject before disconnecting'. Also my Itunes and internet explorer freezes while the I pod is connected.
I've researched the problem online all day and still no solution. Have already reset the Ipod to factory settings, performed diagnostics both on i tunes and disk mode on the ipod itself. The latter displays the information 'Reallocs 0 and Pending Sectors 2, which from my research indicates that the disk drive on the ipod itself is still ok.
Is there something I'm missing here? Or is it time to get a new Ipod classic?
Would be extemely grateful for any advice.

Do you have an administrator account on your computer? If you are not logged in as administrator, do so before attempting to change the to manual. However, I myself am having the same problems with my own ipod.. -
I have been using itunes for 6 years now, and was listening to my music the other day and noticed that some of my albums songs were stopping short of finishing. They just stop and go to the next song. Any solutions?
I have experienced the same problem on my my iPad1, my former iPhone 4 my laptop and even my new iPhone5 though I had really hoped that the new phone and IOS would solve the problem. About 5% of the songs are affected and the stoppage can range from seconds short to a minute and a half. The file shows more of the music left, but it stops playing and goes to the next song. Very aggravating. Appears to happen on purchased and uploaded music.

Here is what I get... (This movie can be played only on displays that support HDCP) However, I can still watch Netflix using Firefox and Google Chrome browsers, but not with Safari. (Using a Mini Mac with an LG Monitor Display) Using HDMI to DVI Apple adapter. I also tried a straight HDMI cable connection, which made no difference. My Apple TV plays just fine on this monitor. Never mind i guess. The iTunes parental controls changed randomly to restricted certain ratings even though i've never touched those in my life. fix your **** apple.

I have purchased and downloaded some TV Shows through iTunes. How can I watch them on my iPad without an internet connection?
Demo the same thing happened to me. I purchased a seasons pass for Sons of Anarchy Season 6 and I've got the eposides on my IPad but Airplay won't allow me to watch the episodes without an internet connection or WiFi. Just for clarity, do you have iTunes 11.1 now on your computer? If yes, when you connect your iPhone via your USB / Lightning cable is your iTunes opening with a small box near the top right of screen that shows your iPhone connected? If yes then you can click through the various views of your iPhones content areas, such as Music, Photos, etc. You will eventually get to a screen that is Status. On that screen you should see the iOS Update option.

Is there a reason this is happening? iPad one is an iPad 1 and the second is an iPad 2 not sure if this has something to do with it. I just tried to upgrade to IOS 5 and when it went to back up it gave me an error code (-5000). I tried to back up using iTunes and it told me that my backup was corrupted and to delete it and try to back up again. When I went into the device portion where I was instructed to go to delete the backup I found that there was no backup for my iPad just the iPad 1.
I have synced many times and all of the apps, podcasts, music, etc... show up in iTunes, and iTunes recognizes that is is the second iPad but there is not a backup for it.

Decide which iPhone will be keeping the current iCloud account. On the one that will be changing accounts, if you have any photos in photo stream that are not in your camera roll or backed up somewhere else save these to your camera roll by opening the photo stream album in the thumbnail view, tapping Edit, then tap all the photos you want to save, tap Share and tap Save to Camera Roll. If you are syncing Notes with iCloud, you'll also have to email your notes to yourself so they can be recreated in the new account as they cannot be migrated.
Once this is done, go to Settings>iCloud, scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account. (This will only delete the account from this phone, not from iCloud. The phone that will be keeping the account will not be effected by this.) When prompted about what to do with the iCloud data, be sure to select Keep On My iPhone. Next, set up a new iCloud account using a different Apple ID (if you don't have one, tap Get a Free Apple ID at the bottom). Then turn iCloud data syncing for contacts, etc. back to On, and when prompted about merging with iCloud, choose Merge. This will upload the data to the new account.
Finally, to un-merge the data you will then have to go to icloud.com on your computer and sign into each iCloud account separately and manually delete the data you don't want (such as deleting your wife's data from your account, and vice versa). -
On i-pad, when I try to enable itunes match, it says, "you are not currently subscribed to iTunes Match. Use iTunes on your computer to subscribe." I am subscribed though! Then it says no to my request and, "item not available in the U.S. store." My Mac will not use update iTunes to any later version than the one I have because my os is also out of date, but when I try to update that i cant, so what do I have to do? Please don't tell me I have to buy a new Mac to be up to date.
On the iOS device you must be logged into the store with the exact same Apple ID you used to originally purchase the service. Go to Setting > iTunes & App Stores and if necessary sign out/in and then enable iTM.

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit OS.I've never had this problem before... today I opened iTunes and it prompted me to download the newest version. I use iTunes all the time and have updated it multiple times with no issues. During the installation process it gave me an error message that said:

I quit the installation, uninstalled iTunes and rebooted my computer. I now receive a similar message with a slight difference:

I did not leave anything out from the error message. It doesn't point to a specific file, it just ends with "(x86)..." Every time I boot up my computer, this error message pops up on my desktop.
How do I repair this issue? I have found multiple suggested solutions but am unsure which one is the best, and I don't want to try a bunch of different things for fear I may make the problem worse. I would like to try and fix this myself if possible but I need to know if that is really possible or if I need to take my computer to someone for repairs.
