Rented TMNT 2014 no longer available

Hello,
Friday night (Oct 24th) I rented the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014 - Michael Bay) movie. 3/4 of the way through, the movie stopped playing. I blamed my Internet (line of sight) and figured I would finish the movie later this weekend. This morning, the movie still had over 5 hours left to watch it... I tried loading it multiple times only to get the message "Item Not Available. The item you've requested is not currently available in the Canadian Store."
I am not using any type of VPN or location changing service. I am accessing from the same Internet connection that I rented it on. I know for a fact that my IP address hasn't changed.
I also noticed that the movie is no longer available for rent. Think I'll be able to get my access back to finish it? I get access back to the movie? Will I be refunded since it's not passed the rental time?
I'm going to call Apple, but I'm a techie and like to post online to see if there is anyone else with the same problem.

You have the black box, not the aluminum version (discontinued in 2010). Correct?
If it is the 2nd or 3rd gen black box then nothing is stored so it would be streaming from the cloud. If it is removed from the store then it will no longer be accessible. It wouldn't be Apple revoking it, the provider has removed it and as a result it is no longer available to stream. This impacts all digital services, unfortunately. This is the first report i've seen in regards to a rental, but I do see accounts from people losing purchases.
Best you can do is ask for a refund, I don't see there being a problem with that. If your internet is sporadic then it may be best to download to computer and stream via home sharing in future, this would allow it to be stored.

Updated CC 2014 AME to version 2014.2 - CUDA Renderer Option No Longer Available?

Hi,
I just updated my AME CC application to version 2014.2 and the 'Renderer' option to allow use of the GPU CUDA cores is no longer available. Is related to the udpate? Or does the renderer option "Mercury Playback Engine GPU Acceleration (Open CL)" now automatically engage CUDA if present given the GPU? These used to be two separate Renderer options.
My GPU is a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX 2048 MB on an iMac running OS 10.10.1.

I have determined this issue is related to the NVIDIA driver (I think) and my upgrade from Maverick OS to Yosemite 10.10.1.
When I opened After Effects I was warned that CUDA was not available which led me to the latter discovery. I located the correct driver on the NVIDIA website, downloaded and attempted to install, but received this message from the driver installation package:
" Computer not supported. This computer is not compatible with the NVIDIA Web Driver"
I realize this may now be beyond the scope of this forum, but has anyone else encountered this issue with the their Adobe Cloud production software and a Mac platform running Yosemite, equipped with an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 MX 2048 MB GPU?

Kung Fu Panda no longer available for rent. Buy only?

My GF likes to check academy nominees in certain catagories and animation is one of them. She was going to add it to the netflix que when I suggested we rent and download it on the ATV.
Kung Fu Panda is no longer available as a rental. It shows up as a "Viewers Also Rented" when I look at my "Rented Movies" menu but when I select it I only have a buy option. I thought it was a HD rental at one point. What happened?

As mentioned, the various studios decide when and how the movie is to be made available, for how long, when to change, etc.

How to delete an app off iTunes that is no longer available

I am getting the error "An app xxxx was not installed on iphone xxxx because the app could not be found." I get this error at every sync. Basically the app is on iTune but not on the phone. I want to delete this app from iTunes - it is a sports app from 2014 that would never be used.. Since the app is no longer available, I just want to delete it. I cannot do that on iTunes.

How do I cancel a subscription that is "no longer available"?

I want to cancel an auto-renewing app subscription that seems impossible to cancel. The iTunes subscription management page has no interactive controls except for a “Done” button. The app developer can’t help me, Apple has not responded to my request for support, and e-mail from the iTunes store says the subscription will be renewed on 10/21/14. Details:
About two years ago, I downloaded the Magmic New York Times Crossword app from iTunes to my iPod. I started an annual subscription to that app, which automatically renews.
I lost my iPod, and I have no other Apple devices, so I want to cancel that subscription. Magmic support has been unable to explain how I can cancel my subscription. They advised me that I can cancel the subscription via the app on my Apple device. Because I no longer have any Apple devices or any way of running any Apple apps, this is impossible.
Magmic also advised me to use the App Store subscription management page for my account. Using iTunes on my Windows PC, I found the subscription management page for the crossword app. It shows that my “Daily and Archive Puzzle Subscription (The New York Times Crossword)” expires on Oct 21, 2014. The same page also includes this remark: “This subscription is no longer available.”
I don’t understand whether I need to do anything to prevent auto-renewal on Oct 21, 2014. The only interactive control on the subscription management page is a button labeled “Done”. I don’t see any way to cancel the subscription or stop auto-renewal on that page.
I think I read somewhere that Apple has stopped support for the Magmic crossword app, so I was assuming my subscription would *not* auto-renew anymore. However, just a few days ago, on Oct. 5, 2014, I received e-mail from the iTunes store informing me that my “subscription to The New York Times Crossword will automatically renew on 10/21/14 and you will be charged at that time.” Does Apple really plan to renew my subscription, and charge me, even though the iTunes app store says “this subscription is no longer available” and even though I have no devices on which I can use any Apple app? Is there any way I can cancel this subscription and stop auto-renewal?
I opened an Apple support case asking these questions on 10/7/14. I received an automatically generated reply that said an iTunes Store rep would respond within 24 hours. It’s been about 48 hours, and I have not received a reply. Can anyone clarify these issues for me?

This being a user to user forum, not Apple, we have no way of knowing Apple's policy regarding the availablity of movies sold or rented from the iTunes Store.
However, you can start a wish list.
In iTunes, click iTunes Store (below Store).
Find the song, video, or album you want to add.
Click the arrow to the right of the Buy button for the item you want to add:
From the menu that appears, choose “Add to Wish List:”

We have two companies in our building, Company A and Company B. Company A has 50 client computers and one brand new DC (Win 2012 R2 Std). Company B has 5 clients and one established DC (Win 2008 R2 Foundation).
I work for Company A and I have the job of connecting all 50 clients to the new DC. Up until last week we had a workgroup set up and it has been my task to migrate our clients onto the domain. I have done 10 migrations of Win 7 machines so far, but three
others seem to be unable to connect with the error: The specified network name is no longer available.
I have connected these successfully to Company B Domain Controller successfully so this seems to point towards Company A DC being wrong somewhere, but doesn't make sense as to why 10 other clients have connected fine.
Here are the troubleshooting steps I have taken so far:
I am in the Domain Admin group on Company A Active Directory
Computer Browser Service is running on server and affected client
Workstation Service is running on server and affected client
Server Service is running on server and affected client
To connect to the domain I have tried using the NetBIOS and the FQDN, I get the same error message.
NETLOGON service is enabled tried restarting - no difference
Windows Firewall is off
No AV installed at the moment. I have Sophos waiting to go on once the machine is hooked onto the domain.
DNS Reverse lookup manually created as it wasn't there
Tried ipconfig /flushdns /release /renew
NSLookup sucessful, can ping NETBIOS, FQDN of server and both client and server IP both directions
Affectted clients are configured with one network card.
I've been pulling my hair out for a few days on this one. Anyone have a possible solution for this.

Glance screen no longer available?

I recently lost my nokia lumia a 822. I replaced it with the same phone. I have installed all updates and am current at this time. A feature I really loved on my last phone was the glance screen. It does not show up on the settings menu on this phone. Has it been removed? Is there a way to add it?

That was what I needed. I don't remember installing it as an app

Lent movie no longer available in iTunes Store.

Already lent movie (Headhunters) is no longer available as a hire movie in iTunes Store. Therefore playing back this movie is not available any longer. Please Help!

If you've had an email invoice click on Report a Problem with the rental, or go to:
https://expresslane.apple.com/
and follow itunes store links and raise the issue there.
Content providers sometimes remove items for sale or change rentals to purchase only and vice versa.
If you've rented but can't watch due to such an issue I'd hope iTunes store support will be able to refund you.

Will the artists videos from iTunes Festival 2014 be made available to purchase?

I see that the artists videos currently on iTunes show the full concert for iTunes Festival 2014 - when these are no longer available to view for free will you make them available to purchase?

We are fellow users here on these forums, you're not talking to iTunes Support nor Apple. Presumable it will need agreement from the artists/rights-holders before if/when they might become available in a country's store

Trying to take advantage of lower data prices, VZW site says my plan no longer available.

I moved our family plan to the "MORE Everything Unlimited Talk, Text, & 3GB" plan in December 2014. Now I'm trying to take advantage of the new lower data prices. When I visit My Verizon to change it, I see this message:
Your current plan, MORE Everything Unlimited Talk, Text & 3GB, is no longer available. You may be eligible to add International & Global options without changing your plan by clicking on the 'International & Global' tab and submitting only those changes.
If you would like to change your plan, please select from one of the available plan options below. Please note: If you change to a new plan below, you may not be able to go back to your previous plan.
Instead I can choose the "3GB Unlimited Talk & Text" plan. What am I losing through this change? I can't seem to get a clear answer from the VZW site.

As Weth said, the current price/data combos are no longer available, but you CAN take advantage of the NEW price/data combos. You can keep the dame data package, for less $. Or you can choose to kee[p your payment the same, but with increased data. Either way is a better deal, and if the previous plan is no longer available, that's OK. I got a better deal....
I made the change, kept data the same and will see a $10 reduction in my bill. You may make a different choice, but for many, the move will be positive.

Feature to disable touch screen when pen is detected is no longer available in windows 7

In N-trig drivers with windows vista there was an option where one could select the option to disable the touch input when pen in near the screen. That feature is no longer available when I installed new n-trig drivers in win7.
I use my tablet a lot to take notes. But with dual mode on it detects input where I rest my palm on the screen to write. Every time I have to go and disable touch input completely before I start writing and enable after I finish.
I there any way to enable auto mode with Windows 7 n-trig drivers?

I talked about this with HP tech support and they don't know anything about it. I don't even know whether they are qualified enough to provide support. They were just blaming the problems on Microsoft and N-Trig. I knew the problem is with the drivers and I wanted them to let N-Trig know that people like us are waiting to the Auto feature. But instead of considering my complaint they hung up on me not once but twice.
