Reopening Scene Menu for DVD's with chapters is not possible

Cannot reopen the scene menu after stopping play in a chapter and neither TV or DVD players help. How can I go back to scene menu direct without going through the main menu? Thanks for helping.

You cannot do what you describe with a DVD-VIDEO with menu on DVD disc created in Premiere Elements (any version).
The best that I can do, after I stop the playback of a scene midway into it, is to hit submenu to get be back to the
main menu page and there hit Scene Selection to get to select another scene.
Until proven otherwise, I do not believe it is possible for you to do what you describe with your Premiere Elements DVD-VIDEO disc menus.

I understand that the OP failed to do research. But then, I wasn't replying to the OP. I was replying to Chris. I have Verizon. I can talk and use data at the same time with my Droid Maxx. Therefore, the problem is not just with the network. Is the PO in ORDERED status? Is there any confirmation posted for this PO which might be stuck (idoc failed to reach back end)?
If it is a case of idoc failure, then reprocess the idoc and then do the next confirmation.

3)In OBYC -Valuation Modifier has been mapped to the GR/IR-- GL account.
A)the cost centre and the GL account has been mapped .
Still i am getting the same error ,

What more can we check in the FI-MM integration ??
The same combination is working fine for Asset purchases.

HD-DVD created with DVDSP will not use more than one subtitle track

I have made an HD-DVD with DVD Studio Pro 4.1.2, and added 4 subtitle tracks. When I play the dvd on a Toshiba A1, Apples DVD player and in the emulator I can change the subtitle track in the way that I can see the country code is changing, but no matter what it will only show me the subtitles from the first subtitle track. If I try to change the subtitle track using the remote, I can only turn the first subtitle track on and of, not switch between the different subtitle tracks. I'm a skilled dvd author, and have had several other authors look into the project finding no errors in my programming, so could this be a bug in DVD SP? Does it not allow more than one subtitle track?

Could be a bug in DVDSP. Also could be a bug in the players firmware. DVDSP never really made it has a fully functional HD DVD authoring tool.

Export to Quicktime with chapters does not stream

I exported my movie with chapter markers to Quicktime using the "Web Streaming" setting. However, when placed on my web site, it will not play until the entire file downloads. If I remove chapter markers and re-encode the file, it will start playing as it downloads. Is this true for any clip with chapter markers? It happened both in Safari and Firefox. If anyone has some help, thanks in advance. Also, if this was asked elsewhere and I missed the thread, or if I should post it in the Quicktime section, let me know. Thanks!

I posted at bug report to Apple more than a month ago but there is no sign of life. I wonder why...? Maybe they have other problems, no time to check bugs found by users?
I think the reason is simple. Some guy at apple does not understand about transparency, and what codecs and (no) compressions that support it. It's a lrge company and difficult for everyone to know everything.

Printing PDF files with smb/cups not possible // SLPReg status -20!

i am running SAMBA 3.6.1-1 and CUPS 1.5.0-1 on a dedicated system. Printer: Canon Pixma IP4500 (USB).
The problem is that all Windows 7 clients are not able to print PDF files (since few months) on that printer while printing these files with Linux software is no problem. The PDF files are neither encrypted nor forbidden to print.
I tried to print with Adobe Acrobat Reader X (latest) and Foxit Reader. Both are preparing the pages to be printed and close their printing dialog after processing. Windows printing queue does not show any jobs (which it even does not when printing simple images with MS Paint, which is not a problem).
Windows systems are using the Canon Inkjet 4500 and Canon iP 4500 driver (manually installed). Printing images works with both drivers.
I searched for "SLPReg […] failed with status -20!" but found no helpful information.

Noncumulative Cube Copy for Inventory IC where compression is not possible

Dear All
We have got Month (0RT_C37) and Week (0RT_C36) Inventory Infocubes. Compression has never been done on any of this cube. The data is fine and result is coming correct but output is very slow. We have done the initialization on this cube on mid of 2008. We have to copy the entire cube to a ZCube and do the compression performed on that Zcube. Our system is BW7.3 SP Level11 and we are going to upgrade to 7.4 . We tried to move the marker values(RECORDTP=1) to the Zcube with DTP setting (Initial Non-cumulative for Non-cumulative values) which is not happening. But other values with movements we are able to move. The only OSS note found to address this issue is1426533 which is not relevant for us. Is there any workaround for the situation where no compression is ever happened on the cube and the compression is impossible due to some issues, hence we want to copy the entire data to another Zcube and perform the compression there.

There is no DSO for 2LIS_03_BF in Business Content as far as I know. It is possible to create a DSO yourself. Please review SAP Note 581778 - ODS capability of extractors from inventory management and the related SAP Notes carefully if you want to go into this direction.
Please have a look at the document Re-initialization of the Material Stocks/Movements cube (0IC_C03) with 2LIS_03_BF, 2LIS_03_BX and 2LIS_03_UM in BW 7.x for contains a step-by-step instruction and lots of valuable information.
Re. the downtime, there are ways to minimize it. Please see SAP Note 753654 - How can downtime be reduced for setup table update. You can dramatically reduce the downtime to distinguish between closed and open periods. The closed periods can be updated retrospectively.
Please refer to document How to Handle Inventory Management Scenarios in BW (NW2004) for an evaluation of different Inventory Management scenarios.
I also would like to recommend you to review SAP Note 419490 - Non-cumulatives: poor query performance for 5 performance tips.
Last but not least, you might want to have a look at the following SAP Notes:

Charts with Makit, scrolling not possible

Hello Forum,
I'm experiencing an issue regarding Makit Charts on Mobile.
The problem is that is not possible to scroll down the page on mobile if the charts is 100% (width and height) and in both directions landscape and portrait.
The chart's container is sap.m.Page and as explained in the official documentation the scrolling is provided automatically.

I don't have "Advanced" tab in Mouse settings in control panel. Is there something i need to install in adition to Toshiba Synaptics drivers?
I also tried changing every available setting in Synaptics drivers settings, but no change :(
About Synaptics generic driver: Yes, I chose that one, but as I said, it's really buggy with two finger scroll, so I reverted back to Toshiba ones.

Playlist ordering with 4G shuffle NOT possible

It's not possible to sync the order of songs with the 4. Generation of the iPod shuffle. THe shuffle is playing always ordered by Artist.
Changing the order in iTunes and re-sync the iPod doesn't affect the order on the iPod shuffle.
Is this a bug in the firmware of the 4G shuffle or a problem with iTunes?

You can sort all the music that is not in a playlist on your shuffle. It inherits whatever sort you have selected for your entire music library in itunes. To see what I am talking about, do this:
1. Under Library (on the left side of iTunes) click "Music"
2. You now see on the right your entire music library. At the top, click the top of the column you want to sort by. You can right click to add more columns
3. Sort by something different than what you are currently sorting by.
4. Connect your shuffle and wait for it to come up
5. When your shuffle appears on the left, open it and click "Music" and note how it is sorted. The column it is currently sorted by will be darker in its heading and their will be a triangle in that columns heading
6. Now click on the name of your shuffle and click sync.
7. Go back to your "Music" entry on your shuffle and you will see it is now sorted by the column you changed your iTunes music library too.
So, your music on your shuffle will inherit the sort order you have set for your entire library on itunes, when you sync it.
Does that make sense?

Recording at 96k with Line6 Toneport not possible with Audition??

Is anyone else out there using a Line 6 Toneport device to record in Audition? This is a 96k recording device but choosing "96k" is not possible in Audition. I just spoke to Line 6 support and they say it's the fault of Audition. They say I have to choose 96k within Audition but I don't have to do that with my other devices. I'm able to record at 96 using other devices no problem by choosing in in the device control panel. The Line6 Toneport control panel doesn't give 96k as an option.
So Line 6 tells me that it's impossible to record at 96k in Audition. Please tell me it isn't so???
Anyone got any help here?

A slight departure from previous behavior is that Audition no longer automatically changes the sample rate of your device. There were too many problems when switching between different applications (e.g. between Premiere Pro and Audition, or Audition and Windows Media Player, etc) and the clock setting changing on the device, and then the device "freaking out" (to put it politely).
So, if there's software that came with Echo where you can change the clock settings, you might want to set it to 96 kHz there first, and then Audition CS5.5 should just go along with 96 kHz.

Resolution for menu for DVD played in computer

I am making a video DVD that will mostly be played on computers.
Typically when I build a layered NTSC menu in Photoshop it is 720 x 540 at 72 dpi then once I have finished the menu I resize to 720x480.
This looks soft to me when viewed on a computer and I was wondering what is the ideal image size and resolution to make menus for computer viewing given all those variables. I experimented with increasing the image size to 1280x1024 at 72dpi with seeming an only small increase in quality.
I am guessing the dpi has to go up but don't know the best combination. Any advice is appreciated!

No matter whay file dimensions you use, everyhting in yuor SD NTSC DVD will be encoded to 720x480. Ussually using graphic files bigger than just the necesary size gives you WORST quality because DVDSP is not good resizing items.
Check if your are using HArdware or Software based menu encoding and change to the opposite to test if you get any improvement in your menu quality.

Cannot see context menu for XML messages with Safari and Google Chrome

Hi All,
I am unable to see Context menu with the option of Create, Edit, Delete etc. for KM messages. This problem persists with Safari, Chrome and IE9 browsers. This thing works fine on IE7 and IE8 browesrs.
On clicking History and Options buttondoesn't perform any action i.e. we cannot see the list of options when clicking on those. This problem also persists with the above mentioned browsers.
Also, with IE9 , I am unable to create New message when clicking on New button. The XML form doesnt open on the button click.
The portal version I am using is EP 7.0.
Can someone help me out with this?
