REORG and RUNSTATS: any order of precedence?

Hi.
Is there any documentation on Reorg and Runstats?
I am confused about what role each of these play on what table (ex. P, Q, X, Y etc). It all began with ST04 where I tried to manully run the REORG and Runstats (as the ACR was not running OK) and I was confused because after each of them ran, the status was shown as either "Reorg & Runstats run" or "Runstats & Reorg run".
Is there any precedence on running them, e. g. Runstats first and then REORG? Or the vise-versa? What should be the order of the tables, e. g. P, Q, X, Y etc or X, Y, P, Q etc.
And if anybody could please shed some light on how do RUNSTATS & REORG help with the ACR, that would be greatly appreciated.
Also, as two of the gurus mentioned last week, is the SE38 -->RSDDS_CHANGERUN_MONITOR program a must/good to have for the health of the ACR? I am asking this as the BASIS guys say there is no need etc.

Hi Gurus.
I have kind of an odd situation.
I am running a query on the Web Application Server. It runs fine over there, with the complete expected results (1.3 million records). But when I try to save it as a .CSV file (for further uploads through an InfoPackage), the file is truncated and saves just some 21K records.
Only one of my colleagues can save the complete file. Three of us have the file saved but it is being truncated.
Any idea of why is it so?

In this DBA Planning Calendar job, there's an option for Keep Dictinary. How can I run a reorg with RESET Dictionary?
To me, Keep Dictionary should be the default option for reorg, and no need to check this box on job scheduling. What's missing is the Reset Dictionary.
Can someone comment on this?

Hi Patrick,
The behavior of the reorg with or without keepdictionary or resetdictionary depends on the compress flag for the table. Like you mentioned, it would make sense to assume keepdictionary as the default and use resetdictionary based on the user input in the GUI.
An easier way to control this in my experience is to use "automatic maintenance settings" (under the configuration drop down) and carve out an offline reorg window for the required tables with the ability to choose the right dictionary rebuild option. With version 9.5 and automatic dictionary creation (ADC), rebuilding the already existing compression dictionary has been a moot point in our landscape.

Order of Precedence in Field Selection settings for Vendor Master

Hi,
There are three transactions which help define the list of mandatory, optional, suppressed and finally display only fields during vendor maintenance.
These are,
OMSG -> Define Account Groups and Field Selection( Vendor)
OMFK -> Define Screen Layout Specific to Purchasing Organizations
OMSX -> Define Transaction-Dependent Screen Layout.
All these settings are independently maintained.
In case of conflicting settings, say for example, Field Name 1 is made mandatory with tcode OMSG, but suppressed with tcode OMFK, how does the Vendor transaction(XK01, FK01, MK01) behave.
How are these conflicts resolved ?. Is there any order of precedence.

If both purchasing organizations have separate account group then you can very well achieve in customizing otherwise you need to control it in exit SAPMF02K

HT4221 My ipad photos and video are not in any order.

I have a series of photos and videos that I am using Sync Photos, and it loads them in completely absurd orders, different each time I've attempted. It does not follow the naming convention nor the dates in the order it has.
My first sync, the photos were in order, then the video but I wanted both intermixed, following the name of the file and not the .jpg or .mov.
I am syncing from a windows pc using Windows Vista.
I tried using the app Photo Manager Pro, and it has the audacity to rename the files too! So the order there is whacked.
Is there any common sense solution to this, so you know, I can use a modern apple device to view photos and video, in order?

I have looked a little bit more, and it seems as though the video is lagging behind, not the other way around. Video seems choppy, but the audio is playing perfectly. Music Videos are suffering from the same problem as well. Also, when I sync to my iPod Touch 16GB, audio & video match up perfectly.
I still have no idea how to fix this. Please help.

Dear Paul, thank you very much for your time and answer, I followed those steps, somehow it helped the performance of my Imac, is faster now, but the screen issue about the very High contrast colours is still there. Since I am a photographer I am very depending on the screen calibration. I am worried that I came to damage the video card when I shut down the computer from the swicth when It was frozed.

I haven't got any order confirmation e-mail from Adobe and cannot install Photoshop due to no serial number information.

Is there any order in which records are stored in SessionDetails and Conferences Table in Lync Archiving DB?

Hi,
Archiving Database Schema states that in the tables SessionDetails and Conferences tables, the column 'SessionIdTime'
holds datetime value at which session request is captured by Archiving service.
But, is there any order in which the records are stored in the db?
Say, a session 'S1' starts at 1:00 PM and another session 'S2' starts at 1:05PM. 'S2' ends at 1:10 PM and 'S1' is still on going. I have observed that on ending the session the record is written to DB, so is it possible that details of session S2 is written
in db prior to 'S1'?
Is there any way to query these tables, in the order in which the records are stored?

You can export records that have been stored in the Lync Server Archiving database with the following cmdlet in the link using Lync server manageshell.

You need to write a SQL query/view or report server report to display the information.

You may also be able to access https://store.apple.com/ in Safari, log into your account, and review recent purchases (and cancel any that haven't shipped yet).

Setting order of precedence of ROI and Overlay in image

Hi Folks -
I am trying to have an overlay of points appear OVER a line ROI. I can convert the line ROI to an overlay, and clear the ROI, to get the effect I want.
However, the downside of that approach is that if the user wants to draw a new line, they always have to re-click on the line tool and redraw the line from scratch. If the ROI line is still in the image, the user can just mouse grab the end points or entire line and shift as needed. But if I leave the ROI line in the image, or clear it and then re-draw it, it always appears over the overlay.
The order makes a significant difference when not zoomed in on the image. One can hardly see the blue line if zoomed out.
I thought many years ago in the Vision user manual that I read about the order of precedence in an image for image, overlay, and ROI, and that ROI will always appear over the image and overlay. I don't see anything about this in the current Vision concepts manual.

yes, it does seem that the ROI has precedence over overlay display. You could make the ROI dissapear when the mouse cursor leaves the image bounds and use your first solution (to convert the ROI to overlay). When the mouse cursor enters the image bounds, clear the overlays and add the original ROI back.

How are you creating the file, exactly?

Formal OUT and IN OUT parameters can be returned in any order. In this example, the final values of x and y are undefined:

What does this mean? How are the values of x and y in any doubt here? I tested it and x and y were set to 17 and 93 respectively.

The general rule is that the shipping address must be in the same country as the billing address of the credit card used to order. However, you can try changing the Print Products store in iPhoto's Advanced preference pane to Canada and try ordering again.
