Since all the information regarding the tables is stored in the table MARA. So in order to reorganise, is it sufficient to just reorganise this table ..... I don't know? please provide just a brief intro on this topic..And also please provide a link for SQL Cache topic ..

How to reorganise the sales value in FD33 tcode

Hi gurus,
I had a customer whose credit limit is "1" rupee, in general process when we raise a sales order for him get the proforma invoice and send to him and then he pays for that then only we deliver and invoice him, but now system allows him to raise a sales order with one lack also, i analysed the problem and I had find that some negative valve is triggring in "sales value" field in FD33 tcode, i had executed the report RVKRED88 and got the list of slaes documents for that comprising wrong values, but i stuck up at this point how to reorganise them i.e., bringing back the vale of "sales value " to 0 rupees. if anyone worked in this scenario help me .

hello, friend.
we had a similar situation here, so i can say i understand your situation a little bit. am i correct in saying the reason why sales orders can be created without being blocked is because the customer's sales exposure is negative (meaning you owe the customer)?
what we did here is add another restriction by putting maximum document value at 0.01 (also try zero value) so that any order raised is blocked.
it's also possible to use billing plan where a downpayment must be paid by the customer, but the configuration for this set up is more complicated and may be impractical.
you can also clear the negative sales values in FI but let's hear what the FI guys have to say about this (audit issues).
i am sure someone out there has a much better idea, but that's the only thing i can think of right now. if i find a better solution, i will post it here.

SAP DB Reorganisation in SAP 4.6C Kernel 46D Patch 2500 and Oracle 9.2.0.8

I have to delete the clients and then perform DB-Reorg.
Through SCC5, I am deleting the clients.
1) Is it possible to select all the clients and delte altogether, as there are 12 clients to be deleted.
For Reorg, I went through the below notes :

As I am deleting all clients except 3 (000, 001 and development client), do I need to re-organize the entire database ? How to reorganise the entire database at one go ?
Some of the tables are around 90-98 GB.
Is there any way to check from SAP level (other than SQL query) if the Tablespace is DMTS or LMTS and if it is ASSM ?
Incase of DMTS, do you have any document how to convert to LMTS as I am a bit confused.
Does there any dependency on SAP Kernel Level, is it ok to reorg on Kernel 46D.

You can't delete all clients in one go... you need to logon into each and schedule the deletion via SCC5.
A reorg of this scale will be very time consuming.. I think it will be much quicker to do a Homogeneous system copy via Export/Import.
Also, if this is your development system make sure you check the client independent requests that might have been release from those clients and also the version management of developments.

Photo gallery able to reorganise into subcategories + adding new images via in-browser editing

Hi,
I'm looking for a photo gallery which has the ability to reorganise the images displayed based on subcategories or tags. For example I want to add a gallery which contains photos of a clients projects. The client wants site visitors to be able to shuffle the gallery to view only for example "stone walls" or "timber decking". A tagging system would be handy rather than having to load the photos into each subcategory.
The other consideration is that my client needs to be able to add new images with tags using the in-browser via Business Catalyst. So far I have only succeeded in replacing existing images rather than adding new images.
Is there such a widget for Muse or are there anyother widgets for wordp-ress or other which could be embedded to tdo the job.

If I am not wrong, basically you want to provide users an option to select category of images which they want to show up on page.
From Muse we cannot tag or categorize them , also photogallery module in BC does not provides this option, but there is a workaround with web apps.
You can create a web app and then web app items as images and then categorize them. On page insert the web app with categories drop down, so when users will select the category those web app items would be displayed on page. Additionally you can add custom fields in web app to search using keyword.
With editing , clients can login to BC admin and then using photogallery module or web app module ( if used ) to edit the images, add new ones. IBE cannot be used to add new ones but to replace existing ones.

I ahve created a business process and also added teh required job,When i try to generate and activate the BPM i get an error as

kindly suggest what i need to do to resolve this issue, which job to be scheduled and also all details and also any relevant document for the same

Do you still get same alert if you generate and activate
the BPMon session ?
If yes, there seems some problem on job "BPM_ALERT_REORG".
Maybe it is scheduled but not released.
(do you see scheduled job in SM37 ?)
1st, according to your description, you use ehp1.
In that case, as described in note 521820, do you already have
required note. Especially related to ST-SER like following.

I quickly checked description of each note, but could not find out
correction related to alert reorganization job. But it is better to
implement above notes if you do not have yet.
And if you still have problem (try generation and activation again)
even with above note, I recommend you to create SAP customer message
for component "SV-SMG-MON-BPM".

Let us say you planned PIR for 100.
At the end of Period the total salae order were 90, PIR shows 10 excess, this has to be deleted. We can do it manually, but this can be done collectively

With the reorganization function, you can delete planned independent requirements for which there are no sales orders in the database. You can delete the planned independent requirements history.
A key date is required to carry out reorganization which is calculated as follows: the system checks whether a reorganizing interval is maintained in Customizing for the plant that you want to reorganize. If an interval is maintained for this plant, the system uses this information to calculate the key date. If no interval is maintained for this plant, the system checks whether intervals are maintained for any other plants, and selects the largest interval to calculate the key date. You can change the key date proposed in the initial screen for reorganization.
You can change the proposed key date when deleting the history. You can set a shorter interval for deleting histories than for deleting the requirements records.

Tablespace Reorganisation in Oracle 10g Database

Dear All,
I'm planning of doing a carrying out a Tablespace Reorganisation of the schema tablespace on the production server. I need your views regarding the process to be taken and tuning that is required before carrying out such an activity. For your information, the size of the tablespace is around 3TB. Also, since it is the production server, we can't have an outage for more than 24hrs. Hence, I would like some help from all of you in order to carry out this activity successfully in the time frame.
Regarding the process :
I have some ideas about how to do the tablespace reorganisation in oracle 10g. But, if I carry out the activity my way, its going it to take atleast 3-4 days to complete (which won't be acceptable).
Areas of concern :
1) Steps to perform the tablespace reorganisation in Oracle 10g DB.
2) Size of the temporary tablespace before starting the Reorg.
3) Any further suggestions / recomendations regarding tuning up of Oracle Parameters for enhancement of speed and acuracy of the activity.
System Specifications :
SAP - BI 7.0 (SAP NetWeaver 2004s)
DB - Oracle 10.2.0.2.0, DBSL Patch Level - 158
OS - AIX 5.3
Looking forward to some good and prompt suggestions from all of you !!
Please provide your valuable inputs.
NOTE :: We have successfully performed the reorganization in the rest of the landscape on the same schema tablespace without any issues.

It is quite an old thread, but let me put in my view points, which could help others.
1. The Size of PSAPTEMP and PSAPUNDO tablespace should be 1.5*largest Table Size.
2. Another Important thing is , if the time is in an issue, what you can do is to reorg. only top 50 largest tables where maximum space is being wasted. Folowing is the query to determine the TOP 50 tables which has the highest WASTED size.

I am sure that, only these 50 tables will reduce the maximum space and you can ignore rest of the tables.
3. Even you can find out all the Tables which are having LONG and LONG RAW fields by using this query
Select Distinct TABLE_NAME From dba_tab_cols Where Owner='SAPYSP' and (DATA_TYPE='LONG' OR DATA_TYPE='LONG RAW');
Now, from the results of this query you can see how many Tables are present in the Top 50 Tables. There will be a few only and you can export/import these few tables in offline mode.
4. After reorg, fi you want to claim the free disk space also, it would not be that easy because of the high water mark present in datafiles but you can try with
Alter datafile <datafile id> resize <Size>M
5. If free disk space is the first priority the you need to create another Table space (which should have size as big as it can have all the tables) and you re-organize in this new tablespace. After Reorg, drop the old tablespace and rename the new Table space with the old one (Rename Tablespace Command will work only in Oracle 10g).
I hope this information helps all those who are going to do reorg in their respective projects. However, You can further put your question if in doubt and I will try to answer them.

Credit area reorganisation

Dear Gurus,
We have a problem were the billing data of an old credit control area is not updating in the new credit control area.
We had two credit control areas " A" and "B" in two different sales area in same company code. Now business need only one credit control area ie "A".But the exposure of B has to be updated in " A".
Please guide the prerequisites to be done as well as any reorganisation steps.
The Sales orders.Delivery as well as billing documents of "B" need to be updated in the Credit control Area "A".
The complete exposure of B has to flow to A.

In case the credit control area is determined by Sales area, than you have to create sales order in the sales area which is Assigned to credit control area A. Hence this will take care of determining the new credit control Area A.
Else you can remove the assignment of Old Credit Control area B to Sales Area and Assign the New Credit Control Area A in Payer Master.
For Open items and Oldest Open Items SAP has given a standard Program RVKRED88.
For return orders, you have to develop a Z Program which will take care of flowing the values to New Credit Control Area A.

Reorganisation of PIR's related

Hi pp legends,
I am tring to use the Reorganisation of PIR's (MD74) transaction for my requirement. for example, there is a requirement of 3000 nos for june and 2000 nos for july, if i run mrp, one planned order for 3000 and another planed order for 2000 is generated. after converting my planed order, i was able to produce only 2950, the remaining 50 nos is my loss. i cannot produce that odd 50, only this 2950 only will be sent to meet that 3000 nos requirement. next time if i run the mrp, the system is planning for the remaining 50 nos also which i dont want to plan. the requirement of 3000 has to get nullified with my actual output of 2950. for that i tried md74, there only PIR is only getting cancelled and the quantity produced for that requirement is being consumed for next orders.
If any body can help me in sorting out this problem, it will be of great use for me.

What I understand from your query is : out of 3000 PIR qty in the month of June, MRP has created a planned order for 3000. This planned order was converted into production order with 50 scrap qty. Now in the next MRP run, these additional 50 qtys are planned with a new planned order, which you do not want.
If this is your requirement, you could MD62 transaction to change the PIR qty from 3000 to 2950. And if you run mrp in planning mode 3, delete and recreate mode, the excess planned order, if unfirmed/unfixed will get deleted. Please note that the firmed/fixed planned order (so also production orders) will not be touched upon by MRP.

How to reorganise a RDA application without getting error RSSTATMAN042?

according to this [presentation|https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/40784126-7503-2b10-b586-f6d5acd41f60] SAP wants us to reorganise a RDA application frequently (see slide 37): "Data has to be deleted frequently from u201EReal-Time Data Acquisitionu201C DataStore Object to avoid
redundant data". Another reason for reorganisation would be the lousy performance of DSO objects...
Here we go again: after having transfered the RDA data to the cube and deleted them from the RDA-DSO the next daemon run will cause this error message:
Real-time upload not possible; request xyz must first be passed
Message no. RSSTATMAN042
where xyz is the ID of the last processed RDA PSA request. Also after an additional deletion of the PSA table this error is appearing (with xyz = 0).
I think it's not the right approach to reorganise manually at regular intervals - what is your solution for this task? Did you also experience this error message? We have BI 7.0, SP 18.

How do I reorganise shots in Colors setup/shots browser

I'm just working out how to create, delete and use groups of shots in the shots browser (within the setups tab). Having played around a bit, I now a totally disorganised layout of shot icons. Is there any way to automatically reorganise these icons so that, for example, they are sorted back to their timeline order?
I appreciate that I could do this manually but was just wondering. Thanks.

Look inside a folder called "Final Cut Express Document"
Your captured clip will be found in a subfolder called "capture".
Otherwise, look in your browser and select item properties (with contextual menu), to see the full path name for your clip file.
Beware: Do not change your captured clip name in the finder, or you'll lose "the connection" between captured clip and his reference in the browser. Thus you can safely rename your clip in the FCE browser.
Your file project is a simple reference file who tolds to FCE where to take clip parts to build your movie.
It may be saved anywhere, but it's usual (and give better performance in some case) to store it on a disk, and your clip files on another disk.

Dbase reorganisation after Client Deletion

We are planning to Delete 2 clients on our DEV system namely 020 and 060, i just wanted to know whether after deletion is the space automatically adjusted or are there any steps to be performed so that the disk space is utilised to the best and is reorganised.
Please help me with the relevent Tx Codes for dbase reorganisation (If required).

Hi Kent,
Yes, you need to reorganize the tablespace, in order to reclaim space to the OS. This is because, Oracle already allocated the space when you added or extended a datafile and will not be released this space, until you reorganize the tablespace. Please check the note "Note 646681 - Reorganizing tables with BRSPACE".
For example;
brspace -u / -f tbreorg -s psapddicd -t "*" -p 4

Plant Maintenance Reorganisation

Is it possible to reorganise a plant maintenance structure after it has been used in production? I would like to consolidate 5 maintenance plants into 1 maintenance plant. Or alternatively, assign the 5 maintenance plants to one planning plant (right now they are assigned 1 to 1 - we have 5 planning plants).

There are 2 broad aspects to carry out this change.
1. System configuration changes like assignment of plants to planning plant,order type related settings,tasl list and work centre relatedf etc
2. Master data changes like work centre,maintenance plans,task lists etc.
3.History of transactional data like standard reports.Inprocess or open transactions.
