REP-52251 for report opening

Dear All,
I have calling report in oralce developer forms 10g using run report object. I have also call report server now there are problem that are coming for this regard is : -
*REP-52251: Cannot get output of job ID 31 you requested on Mon Oct 06 09:46:12 GMT+05:00 2008.
REP-51026: No output for job 31
Kindly any suggestion or help about this error.

Help needed to report open orders from R/3 SD!

Hello all,
I need to report net open order value from SAP R/3 SD to BW. I'm using cube 0SD_C05 to report inquiry vs. quotation vs. orders. Is there any standard ods object in business content which can be used to report open orders? If not, will it be a good idea to create a ODS object and use it directly for reporting open orders? This BW installation is for a small IT company and we don't generate a lot of quotations or orders on a daily basis. Please guide.

   DEFINITION :A standing/open order is a Purchase order which has been issued to a vendor, against which specified purchases may be made for a specified period of time. When repeated purchases of the same type of supply items are expected, multiple purchase requisitions may be eliminated by submitting one purchase requisition to establish a standing/open order. This request must be accompanied by a justification memorandum. Standing purchase orders are issued for supply type items and services only.
JUSTIFICATION : Request for standing/open orders are approved by the Director of Purchasing, provided they are sufficiently justified. Purchases made by the standing/open order method are often more expensive, and should be considered carefully.
LOGIC: Open purchase orders meanse,the purchase order not realse due to some reasons.
     The purchase order table EKPO (or) EKKO.
        You find the both tables
         fields:          LOEKZ = Deletion Indicator.
                            ELIKZ = Delivery completion.
          You checks above fields NOTEQUAl to SPACE
            example:   LOEKZ   NE ' '
                            ELIKZ NE ' '
                 above fields equal to space that orders realsed.
example: select * from ekpo
                              into itab
                              where ebeln = pametervalue
                                 and loekz ne ' '
                                 and elikz ne ' '.
            Above statment excutes dipalys the open purchase orders.

Try transaction VA05. In that choose "Open Orders" along with other selection criteria.
If you want the Open sales order qty in output and its not displayed, do the following.
Sales -> System modification -> create new fields ( without condition technique) -> New fields for lists.
You can change V05TZZMO and structure VBMTVZ from there or use SE38 / SE11.
For both you'll need an object registration in OSS.

Task List URL (to FR Report) opens in new window, but not for all users!

Hi all,
I am not sure if this is the correct forum to ask the question (for me it looks like an IE topic), but perhaps anybody can help me anyway...
In one of our Planning apps (9.3.1) we defined several task lists and tasks that link to relevant FR Reports (URL Tasks). If I open the URL task in basic view the relevant FR Report opens in the same IE Window (in the main frame of the planning app). If my colleague opens the same task the FR Reports opens in a new IE Window.
My problem is that I dont have any ideas where I can set the relevant property. Is that a planning property, a workspace property or an IE property setting??? Where can I adjust the settings that for ALL users the URL opens the Report in the same window??????

P.S.: We are on IE8.

Have you both got the same settings in Tools > Internet Options > Tabs Settings
There was also a bug though I can't say if it is related to your issue

Hi Chandra,
No, This script is for only opening the webi document & saves it back to enterprise without any processing.
If your webi document have the refresh on open & last prompt value selected properties checked then you don't have to modify the code.
If you want to handle the prompt as well, then you have to modify the code & write the application flow like below:-
1. Logon to enterprise.
2. get infostore service.
3. get all the webi documents into infoobjects collection
4. get engines services.
5. load document instance.
6. clear the prompt values & set it with new value.
7. saves the report back to enterprise.
The 6th point is mossing from the script. You can add that piece of code in the attached script also you can take help from the sample codes & Developer guide & API references.

Opening new window for reports.

As of now the reports open in the samewindow as the parent while being displayed,Can someone say what to do to open the report in a new window other then the window from which it was called.I have used javascript:
new window.open() but was not successful.

When adding a component to a folder using "add item" in the folder edit mode, on the second page of the add item wizard, there is a selection list that will control how the component is displayed. Select the radio button corresponding to, Link That Displays Item In New Browser Window.
That should do it.

"Execute" the URL : http://server:port/reports/rwservlet?server=<Reports Server Name>
Check if you can see the job number returned by RUN_REPORT_OBJECT
Refresh the page several times and check if the output is always the same.
(There is a known issue with the In-process Reports Servers and multicast)

REP-52251: Cannot get output of job ID 220 you requested on Mon Oct 16 11:19:12 EDT 2006.
REP-56033: Job 220 does not exist

Have you tried to create an URL with all the parameters you're trying to run your report with?
Try to run the report that way first - just to make sure your report can actually be run with the parameters you're using.
If that works then try to use WEB.show_document from your form, passing the same URL you just built, if that works then you are only having problems with your RUN_REPORT_OBJECT (I am not sure if you're using rp2rro library for running your reports).
Try that -- another thing that might be happening is that your output is being generated but due to the parameters (I think there is some form of timeout in the reports server, when the files in your cache are deleted, not sure if this is the problem).
Try the run the report with an URL first - that should shed some light.
If you're still having problems, post it here, so we can review it.

I have moved my forms and reports from windows XP (DS 9.04) to the Linux box.
I have compiled and run FORMS and most of the REPORTS succesfully.
I have compiled one report succesufully.
But when I run this report from the FORM, I got message as below:

REP-52251: Cannot get output of job ID 69 you requested on Thu Sep 29 15:37:03 PDT 2005.REP-56093: Cached output for job 69 is no longer valid
I have checked

Just in case someone else too finds this thread with google. We had too REP-56093: Cached output for job 5429 is no longer valid. After checking reports cache dir we did see that the problematic reports have cache key with (broken)umlauds. So we disabled :DESNAME parameter and that got rid the umlauds in file names and that resolved the cache error. So if you get this error, you might check the cache directory if the problematic reports have some weird cache files/filenames.

REP-1219 for moved frame

I'm using Report Builder 6.0.8.25.0 to customize a seeded Oracle report which is being run as a concurrent program in Oracle. I've added a field and moved down a frame and it's enclosed fields to make more room. Now I'm getting the dreaded REP-1219 for the frame I moved:
REP-1219: 'M_PERIOD_TOTALS1' has no size -- length or width is zero.
I've gone through the usual efforts to get the error to go away - make sure the frame is fully enclosed by its parent. Delete and recreate. Cut and paste again. But I'm still getting the error.
I've seen the notes and they suggest to make sure the height and width are not zero - frames don't have these properties in the property palette. And this is not a small frame so there's no way the size is getting rounded down to zero. I also see suggestion to convert the report to or from character to or from bitmapped. I'm thinking this is not the solution since all I did was move the frame.
Does anyone have a good way to deal with this error? It seems to pop up fairly often and it usually require a good deal of time to fix it.

Sorry this is not working for you.
As I said in my first post, I could not remember if reports 6 can save as a JSP. I went back to an old machine with 6 installed and there is no mention of JSP, the 6 equivalent is a REX file.
By changing the wd and ht of the problem object to > 0 the error will go away and you can resize it properly in the reports builder.
Open your broken report (i.e c:\sales.rdf)
File..Admin..Convert
Source type = rdf
Source = c:\sales.rdf
Dest type = rex
Dest = c:\sales.rex
Click OK
Now open sales.rex and follow my previous post to change the values (I THINK it would be the WD and HT parms of the frame that is causing you trouble.
After your changes are made
Save the sales.rex file
open reports builder
File..Admin..Convert
Source type = rex
Source = c:\sales.rex
Dest type = rdf
Dest = c:\sales_2.rdf
Click OK
Open c:\sales_2.rdf in reports builder
