Repair error in transport request with return code-0008

hi!!
I am getting error while importing a transport request by giving return code-0008.
Can anyone explain me the reason and solution for the same.

Hi Ajeet,
Make sure that all the tasks whith in the request are released and they are in active state as well. Discuss with the owner of the CR and check all the objects are in active state and all the tasks are released. You can check with the logs as well to het more clues.

XI Transport ended with return code 8

Hi Experts,
One of the transport ended with return code 8( Transport carried out with errors), because individual objects are not transported successfully.
And It seems to have some issues with Roles in transport.
Please suggest how to create a fix transport to get the objects which errored in synch.

How to create transport request with Transaction Code

hi,
i have made a Report and then i have transport it to QAS server but mistakenly i transport the request without T-Code.
Now i want to make a new transport request with T-Code but can't understand where i can make this new request because when i go to this path*UTILITIES -> VERSION MANAGEMENT -> * it shows me the request which i have transport it.So i want to make a new request with Transaction Code included in that request.Kindly guide me where i can make this request.

Goto se93 give your tcode and press chagne,after entering into it make some change and click on save, it wil ask for TR. Save it and export it to quality.

I was trying to transport the Update rules from Development system to Production system.
But in the middle it got failed in Quality system & given the error as mentioned below.
"Ended with Return code = 8".
What we need to do now.

Pleas make sure that the target and the source for the update rules are present in the Quality sytem and are activated. if they are not present or are in inactive state then u need to transport them first and later on update rules.
Sometimes what haapens is source and targets object for the update rules are present in the quality system and we make some changes in them in development and after making changes forget to transprt the changed request for source target and directly try to transport update rules which fails giveing an error. so jst make sure that the version in Development and the quality system for the both the source and targets objects are exactly same.
i guess there would be one among the two cases mentioned above but still if its not the case then see wat error are u getting provide us the exact error so that we can be of more help to you.

Transport fails with return code 12 for 0CHANOTASSIGNED Characteristics

Dear Experts,
I am transporting the 0CHANOTASSIGNED characteristics from BI Dev to BI QA.
In BI Dev, I use the option Necessary Object.
While importing request into BI QA, it fails with a return code 12. Some of the errors are:
Start of the after-import method RS_IOBJ_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) IOBJ (Activation Mode)
System error in lock management
Error AD 025 during after import handling of objects with type(s) IOBJ
Start of the after-import method RS_IOBC_AFTER_IMPORT for object type(s) IOBC (Activation Mode)
Error when checking the InfoObjectCatalog 0CHANOTASSIGNED
InfoObject 0ABCINDIC is not available in active version
InfoObject 0ABCPRC_TYP is not available in active version
InfoObject 0ABCPROCESS is not available in active version
InfoObject 0ACCT_TYPE is not available in active version
InfoObject 0ACTIONREAS is not available in active version
This goes on for lot of infoobjects. If I were to goto RSA1 of BI QA and check any of the above objects, they are 'INACTIVE'.
But they are 'ACTIVE' in BI Dev.
Please help me in resolving this issue.

Hi I.R.K,
I recreated a trasnport for just one Infoobject (0ABCINDIC) which was one of the objects not active as shown in the logs of BI QA while transport.
I did not make any changes or delete any data etc. I then just transported these request from BI Dev to BI QA.
The transport was successful with return code 0. I then checked this object in RSD1 of BI QA and it was activated.
Any ideas what may be the cause???

Transport failing with Return Code 12

We're trying to transport a large number of InfoObjects and the transport has failed with the return code 12. It says the job has been cancelled. Below is the transport log
Program terminated (job: RDDEXECL, no.: 13213400)

Ended with return code: ===> 12 <===
and the corresponding job log
Job started
Step 001 started (program RDDEXECL, variant , user ID DDIC)
All DB buffers of application server tsapngn were synchronized
InfoObject DHIMPROG is not available in version A
Job cancelled after system exception ERROR_MESSAGE
Now DHIMPROG is an InfoObject that is active in DEV, and so are all its attributes. The attributes are also present in the same transport request, so I'm not clear why the entire transport could have failed because of this.
Besides, ret code 12 is supposed to be unrelated to the actual objects in the transport.
There are no dumps in ST22.
I'm facing this problem on BW Version: 3.5. Any ideas on what could be wrong here?

Hi,
This could have been becuase of system error most probably importing the request would not give the error or copy objects to a fresh request and try moving it once again if u are sure that there is no other error depicted by the error message.

After finishing transport fro D to Q, I got following Transport error message.

The errors affect the following components:
    BW-WHM (Warehouse Management)

If anybody has experienced this before I would like to to know how they solved it.

DB13 error -- Function DB6_PLAN_DELETE_BATCH failed with return code = Job

hello All,
when I try to delete or edit any DBA Job in transaction DB13 the following error is displayed:
An error occurred when processing system
Function DB6_PLAN_DELETE_BATCH failed with return code = Job error
How can I fix this error and delete or change my DBA jobs?
My syste is SAP ECC 6.0 SR3 - Solaris 10 - Oracle 10.2.0.4.0

Transport failed with Return code 12

Hi all;
We have some Objects which are transported from Dev to QA, during that time we got error return code 8, we debuged the errors and found that 2 query elements were missing..which we ignored and transported the request to another system which is a clone of our production system. It happened the same error during the transport. Now, we are transporting the request into Prod from and the transport got cancelled with error code '12', we are trying to find the error details it says
' serious error occurred which normally is not caused by the contents of the request.'
Please let me know what would be the problem here and how can I resolve this issue.

1. error code 12 can be connection between systems problem so maybe just try to transport it again
2. code 8 is not a warning it is error and means that transport was unsuccesful so try to perform this transport again (include missing objects, or create request with all necessary objects) and then try to transport on clone system

When i am trying to transport the DSO in BI7 ,the transport request fails with the return code 12 and the error message states that the program has terminated and when i check the job log for Job :RDDEXCEL i see the following error messages.
ABAP/4 Processor :OBJECTS_OBJREF_NOT_ASSIGNED and the job cancelled

this is system error mite b related to the connection or something else. it sometimes happens and nothing is wrong with ur request. Try sending the request once again by copying the contents of the sent request in a new reqst and m sure if everyting is fine with the request it will be imported successfully.

Yes, actually there is no need to worry, it i sjust a warning for your import ...
Nevertheless, if you see that your datasource is not connected, check that your falt file source system exists in your target system, and go to RSA1 -> Tools -> Conversion of Logical System Names, to convert the source system ...

Problem with a transport ended with return code 8.

Hi gurus,
I transportd a request which had a table maitennce generator.
I missed to transport 3 tables whichare in the next transport.
Now Can i transport th next request & will the error get resolved automatically or should i retransport or do something else to get out of this problem.
I am an abaper & this is all in big need now .....So I might have posted without reading the previous posts... but i tried to get some info but i did not get.

in how to correct the error :

I can start as ora<sid> the oracle, but have problem to start sap.
