Repalce old user ID with new user ID in Org Plan

Hi,
I have a requirement. In our company, we have different type of user IDs for permanent employees and contractors.
Whenever the contractors postion gets confirmed we will create a new user ID for that person.
Now this new user ID has to be updated in the SRM org plan.
As the user's old user ID is already assigned in the org plan and at the same time user have created lot of shopping carts, we want to replace his old user ID with the new one so that all the shopping carts will not get deleted.
Basically I want to know, how to unassign the user ID from business partner and assign a new user ID.
Is it possible to replace like that? Please advise.
Thanks,
SS

Hi,
I noticed a feature in txn: BP --> Relationship
In the relationship category, I could see two categories: Replaced by, Is replacing. Not sure what is the exact functionality of that.
Do any one knows about that feature? Could you please advise me on that field?
Also, Is it possible to change the validity period of BP or user assignment ?
Will the above two resolve my issue?
Since user has created many shopping carts and user needs access to those SC with his new users ID, I would like to confirm with you before taking any risk.
Please help.
Thanks,
SS

    Hi mshields1162,
Great question, and welcome to Apple Support Communities.
First, you may want to choose to have the sidebar displayed for familiarity:
    iTunes 11: Frequently used features
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT5649
Afterwards, your device should be displayed if connected:
We'll want to click on it, and choose the Music tab at the top. Let's make sure "Sync Music" is checked:
Afterwards, you'll have the option to sync either the entire music library (for your first iPod), or "Selected playlists, artists, albums, and genres" (for the secondary device). Upon selecting this option, four larger option boxes will appear allowing you to pick and choose what content will be synced. For audiobooks, you may need to do the above in the "Books" section. For a visual instruction on how to do this, see the following:
iTunes 10: Sync to your iPod

    Thanks,

RIP the CD as AIFF or WAV.
Create a playlist then burn an audio CD.

It just looks fishy too me. It would be highly appreciated if someone could just check this out just to tell me that i don't need to worry about it. Or point me in the right direction. I just feel un easy about this. ha.

If you need to extract the drive's content you can remove it and install it in a $10 USB enclosure. It will be readable by any recent Mac.

  • I have replaced my old Mac Mini with new one.  What should I do about my Time Capsule?

With the old Mac Mini (2009 model) I used Time Machine and a Time Capsule to back up everything on the Mac Mini itself and on external hard drive I added when I needed more storage space.  I've replaced the old Mac Mini with a 2011 model, and migrated the contents of the old one to the new one from Time Machine.
I'm now trying to figure out what I should do to my Time Capsule and/or Time Machine to make backups going forward of the same content, now on my new Mac Mini and same external hard drive.
When I go into Time Machine, it does not seem to recognise the items on the external hard drive as ones that I can backup (or not, as there were some items there that I did not and do not wish to backup to Time Capsule) through the new Mac Mini.
I am uncertain too whether the Time Machine/Time Capsule will recognise the items of my old Mac Mini as the same ones that are now on my new Mac Mini and save changes there, or whether it will try to save all over again all the same items, as they are now on a different computer.
My inclination is to clear out the contents of the Time Capsule now and start all over again.
I have looked through information provided by Apple but not found answers to my questions.

The situation concerning the hard drive is complicated.  It is not included in the list of Excluded Items.
If the drive is not "Excluded", then it must be included.  That is the way that Apple's software works.
But, nor am I given the option to select it or any of the items in it for adding to the list of Excluded Items.
If you want to add an item to the list of Excluded items, click the + button at the bottom of the Excluded list, then navigate to select the drive to add it. Once the drive has been added, you can go back in and select the items.
When I go into the exclude from backup area and select the hard drive, it and the items in it appear in dimmed form, but I cannot select them.
Sorry, I do not understand what you are trying to say here.
What I want to do, but cannot, is what I did before, select one of the items in it not to be backed up and leave the rest to be backed up
I have no idea how you were able to do this. As long as I can remember, Time Machine will not allow you to pick and choose items on a drive to be backed up or excluded. Your option is to have the entire drive backed up, or the entire drive to not be backed up.
have not seen the 'Quick Erase' option.
You would use AirPort Utility to erase the Time Capsule drive. Open AirPort Utillty and click the Disks tab at the top of the screen. Then, click Erase Disk.  The Quick Erase option will appear.

  • Tape lables for old used tapes with new barcodes

    Hi All,
We are having some old used tapes ,

    Thanks in Advance..................

    I think I got a solution For this ---
Just I created a new pool and I tried to label that old tape with replaced bar code into this pool.
Then it has labeled as the bar Code mentioned.
and then I relabeled into the pool in which I require that particular tape to be used .
Now that old tape with required bar code it is working fine in required pool.
    Thanks for your valuable suggestions..........

  • Old macbook replaced with new one, still have old hard drive.

I have the old hard drive from my non functioning 3 year old white macbook. Today I have a new white macbook complements of extended warranty. I tried swapping the old drive with the new, but it entered into a boot up loop. It chimes, sits there on the grey screen, then reboots. I'm assuming this is due to upgraded hardware in the new macbook being incompatible with OSX Tiger on the old drive.
So is it possible to put the old drive into an external drive case and run the migration assistant to transfer all the settings, apps, etc across? Is there another way I can make the old drive work with the the new macbook? Thought I might ask before I start shelling out for an external drive case or paying the apple repair store to transfer my data.
    Thanks,
    Warren.

Yes you could install it into an external drive case. (They are not that expensive).
Yes, you could reformat the drive GUID partition and install your OS on it.

  • Can I use old Mac Pro with new iMac?

I have a Mac Pro (Pre 2007) running on 10.6.8 that is ok for now, but experiencing some degradation in performance. I have 4 drive bays full and memory maxed out. I am looking for a desktop solution that would allow the option to have the latest OSX (such as the latest iMac) and access this old Mac Pro still. Is this possible?
If so, what are some of the caveats?
SoftwareEx: CS6 is compatible with new OSX, but will files saved on new computer still be accessible on old computer?
    Access to files
NetworkCurrently using older version of Airport Extreme for home office setup
Any insights would be helpful! I hate the thought of this old workhorse turning into nothing more than an external hard drive, but it is not upgradable to the new operating system.

It sounds like what you want to do is create a simple peer network so you can use the Mac Pro as a storage unit.
This is easy to do, just connect the two with an ethernet cable and log on using the logon and password for the system you want to access. In the general case, this is a bad idea since you you have unrestricted access but you own both machines so security is a very low priority.
    Caveats:
The OS version will determine what apps a machine can run.
Data is just data as long as both systems use HSF+ or some other common file system.
Airport may or may not work... but a hard wire will always get it done and transfers data a lot faster.
You almost never get to have it ALL your way when mixing generations of systems, but if you keep it simple it works well. I've had a peer network with 4-6 systems running in my house since the turn of the century. Most Macs support 1000 baseT (gigabit ether) so data transfers up to 80-90MB/sec are easy.

  • Using old wall charger with new iPod Classic

I just got a new 80Gb iPod Classic to replace my old original 20Gb model. Can anyone tell me if the wall charger that came wiht the older model will work to charge the newer one?

Yes, it should work just fine. I'm still using the AC adapter and firewire cable from my 60 gig iPod Photo to charge my Touch, 3rd gen Nano and 60 gig iPod with Video.

  • Output Tray Problem - Old c8088a finisher with new 9050dn printer

I recently switched from printing with a 9000dn with an c8088a finisher to a new 9050dn paired with the old c8088a finisher.
With the old combination, I could make jobs go to the "upper left stacker" output tray on the finisher by prepending the job with the escape code \E&l2G. With the new combination of printer and finisher, the old escape sequence no longer works, and jobs go to the top tray. I have also tried other escape sequences, replacing the '2' with other digits that refer to "mail bins" and so forth. None worked.
I know the finisher works, because if I use the printer's menu to change the default output tray to the "upper left stacker", then print a config sheet, the config sheet is output to the finisher's stacker. I don't want to permanently set the stacker as the default output tray, though.
Any ideas for what's wrong? Is the c8088a compatible, or do you have to pair a 9050dn with a c8088b? Any idea for what escape code I should use? Thanks.

This seems to be a commercial product. For the best chance at finding a solution I would suggest posting in the forum for HP Business Support!

  • Need help replacing old apple id with new one

hi. i'm trying to update (in icloud) an appleid with an email from 5 years ago.  i was able to delete the old email on my iphone, but do not see an option for this on my mac.  when i went through the 'verify your id' process, it shows the current id/email that i use for itunes, etc.  however, there is no way, it seems to delete the old email/id on the mac and replace with the new.  i would appreciate any advice or experience, thank you in advance.

If you have changed your iCloud ID and are now trying to change the iCloud ID on your Mac, go to System Preferences>iCloud, sign out, then sign back in with the ID you want to use.

  • Using old iPod/iTunes with new computer.

My hard drive on a previous computer has recently bitten the dust. I had my iPod synced automatically to that library.
Now when I attempt to add to my iPod (new songs/playlists) from the new computer, I'm told it's synced to an old library and, basically, the only option I have is to wipe it and start with the new library.
Is there a way around this as what's on my iPod now is fairly irreplaceable?
Kicking myself for not backing up and eternally grateful for any help.
    Thanks!

Yeah, there is a programme called YamiPod that lets you sync the contents from your iPod to iTunes. Here's the link...

  • Old iPod sent with New Order

I just received my Education iMac with the OLD iPod Touch. I ordered it after they advertised they had the new one, but Apple says that despite this, they only intended to send out the old ones. Seems like Bait and Switch to me. Am I alone in fealing cheated?

Apple has done this the past couple/few years. Since they release new iPods every September/October, they use the back to school promotion to clear out inventory of the older models. If you read the terms and conditions of the promotion...
    http://images.apple.com/promo/pdf/BTS08_TCS20080909.pdf
They are pretty clear about what you are going to get...
"Please be advised that Apple announced new iPod products on September 9, 2008. These new iPod products are not eligible for the Back to School promotion. Rebate claims submitted in conjunction with these products will not be honored."
Sorry but that is the way it is,
    Patrick
