Repeat syncing of previously synced items

I'm using AppleTV 2.0 with the 160 gig model. Have 95 gigs of free space, and all selected movies, music, and photos are completely synced. Have no podcasts or tv shows, etc.
Using Custom Sync, there is an annoying tendency for ATV to re-sync items when iTunes (7.6.1) is re-launched. This usually happens after listening to music or watching movies on ATV with iTunes off. It will re-sync music I've listened to, or movies watched, plus randomly selected stuff not even viewed. This, of course, turns my bluetooth mouse into a zombie during sync. Very annoying if it decides to re-sync several of my 1 hr videos. Problem occurs whether "show only synced items" is checked or unchecked. Interestingly, the photos sync properly and do not re-sync.
Never had this issue with 1.1 software. I'm reluctant to use Auto Sync to avoid having other library stuff on the ATV. But will Auto Sync solve this issue? Anyone with similar experiences?
Can't seem to find an adequate answer during discussion topic searches. And the new ATV manual available for download is useless in explaining the option buttons (compared to the decent descriptions in the manual that came with my ATV in Aug. 2007).
My good news is that I don't have the sluggishness and connectivity issues that others have with 2.0.

I agree it seems to be random, although it seems to always re-sync stuff I just played on the ATV, and then decides on more random stuff just for good measure.
I have not added any new music or video since v 2.0 - just tons of photos, and it doesn't mess with re-syncing photos (thankfully). So I can't confirm your question at this time.
I will probably reluctantly try Auto Sync to see what happens. It's hard to believe this is a minor issue in these discussions.

Spurious repeated sync's while my iPhone is connected

Just a few days ago (possibly around the time I did a software ugprade, but I can't be certian), I noticed a few times when I had my iPhone connected to my Mac that it would keep syncing. I plugged it in and it did the usual sync. And then 5 or 6 more times, out of nowhere while I was doing something else, it would initiate another sync - bringing up iTunes and iPhoto. I don't think it happened with precise regularity (like it was on a timer or anything) but it would wait several minutes between each sync.
Interestingly, the first time it happened was right after I experienced a different problem where when I connected it, I got an error from iTunes that it could not connect to my iPhone. I disconnected it and it made that problem go away, but then experienced the repeated sync'ing issue. I have yet to see the other problem (iTunes complaining A day or two later, I had the repeated spurious sync problem again. It's not fatal - I just unplug it when I'm done sync'ing - but it is a bit annoying and I'm curious if anyone else experiences this (or knows of a fix).

Hello Doug.
I got a couple things I would like you to try.
Your Mac should have multiple USB Ports. Try using a different Port and keep testing to see if each port causes the same Syncing Issue. If you find it is only Isolated to 1 Port then it is something we would want to look into. Such as it being a USB 1.1 or 2.0
Also do you use the Dock when it connects to your Mac? if So remove the Dock and just connect the cord to the iPhone and see what happens. Or if you don't use the Dock add it and see what happens.
Also Reboot your Mac and see if the issue still occurs.
Reboot the iPhone as well. By holding down the Home Button and the Lock Button down together till you see an Apple Logo. let go and iPhone will reboot the iPhone OS and come back.
And now test your Syncing issue again.
Let me know how this works out for you and any results you get.

There is definitely a glitch somewhere because if I am on day view and try to click on day 15 of October, it will not let me. It totally is acting weird.

Free fonts, fonts from a reliable foundry?
Have you tried removing them temporarily?
Do you still have problems if you create a new Windows user account and log in with that? How about if you start in Safe Mode?
And I would run a memory checker and see Troubleshoot font problems | Windows

They should be on the computer. Just sync them as you did the last ipod.
If you failed to put them on the computer then redownload them using the instruction in the article your reference above.

On the People Window, there is an Assignment Button. When clicked, it will open new window "Assignment".
At this point 'WHEN-NEW-ITEM-INSTANCE' is fired for the item 'ASSGT. ORGANIZATION_NAME'.
There is DFF on this window and when DFF is closed by pressing OK button, 'WHEN-NEW-ITEM-INSTANCE' is fired again for the item 'ASSGT. ORGANIZATION_NAME'.
Hence my question is how to know if the previous item is DFF or not.

This is a new behavior introduced in Lion. You can disable it completely via System Preferences, General: uncheck the "Restore windows..." box toward the bottom.
You can disable this behavior on a case by case basis by either closing all windows before quitting, or holding the option key while quitting, or holding the shift key while launching from dock.

If a user opens a work-item in the UWL, closes the browser window, and then opens another item on the UWL list, the new window still pops up the details of the previous work item. I tried looking at the cache parameters but with no luck.
The undesirable workaround to the above problem is to refresh the page every minute via the parameter refresh="60" in the uwl.standard file in the
View name= DefaultView
Can someone advise a possible fix?

As far as showing the name of the previous processor in the UWL is concerned, i believe its not possible, as Harsimran says. But there can be various workarounds.
One is that in the second action of the process, you can give a text area or some input field in the callable object; the second processor can write something in this field, and this field can then be mapped to third screen, which tells the 3rd processor that it has been reviewed.
Another neat solution is that, make a callable object of type:
User Management -> Read User Information
This callable object extracts the user information from the user who has logged into the portal and returns a lot of other information like firstname, lastname etc as output parameters. You can map these parameters to your third action and use it to display some message, say:
The review has been done by <FirstName>

When I do a google search, or search of any kind, previously viewed items are no longer highlighted. I have no way of knowing which items I have already viewed.

I just switched computers and did not save all of my receipts from my previously purchased items from the Mac app store. I was wondering if there was any way to retrieve receipts that showed how much I paid and when I bought the items.

Open iTunes on the new Mac, sign into your account and view your account information. There is a section for Purchase History where you can view the invoices for everything that you have ever bought from the iTunes stores and the Mac App Store.

'Repeat Subform for Each Data Item' is greyed out

I need to make a certain subform repeatable but the 'Repeat Subform for Each Data Item' is greyed out. It's parent subform is not greyed out so I can make this repeatable but this is not the requirement.
Is there another setting that prevents a subform from being repeatable?

I guess you need to set the set the content flowed instead of positioned for which subform you want to repeat.
Click on the subform you want to repeat in the hierarchy panel , then in the object panel click on the content and set in the flowed format.

These are a couple different issues
The purchase issue means they came from a different Apple ID
      You will need that Apple ID and password for those purchases
The iCloud account can be an Find My iPhone issue.
       That could be the same Apple ID as the purchased or yet another one.
              Once again you will need that Apple ID and password.
