Repeated failure install ps elements?

Ps elements install fails repeatedly. imac up to date and specs OK. Functions perfectly. Disc repaired regularly. Cleaned weekly. S/ware installs perfectly on lap top (not required there) but will not work on trandfer to imac. Error (-1) or on transfered copy 5.

What version of OSX? What exact warnings? -1 means that your OS is not supported at all, which could in fact point to your using case-sensitive volumes... Error 5 simply means it was never properly installed. Check this:

How do I install Premiere Elements 9 on my iMac?

I cannot install Premiere Elements 9 on my new iMac from the DVDs I own and successfully used to install Premiere Elements 9 on my old PC with Windows 7. The DVD auto-ejects and I get 5 warnings ("WARNING; Payload cannot be installed due to dependent operation failure") and 16 error messages of various cryptic content.
I successfully installed Photoshop Elements 9 from the second DVD. Note that the installation process for Premiere Elements 9 did not request a serial number.

Disc 2 Mac. This is Premiere Elements 9 Mac Content and does not require or ask for a serial number. As I have said, you do not install the Premiere Elements 9 Mac Content until after you have installed Premiere Elements 9 Mac program from Disc 1 Mac. If you have not installed the Premiere Elements 9 Mac program, you do not install Premiere Elements 9 Mac Content yet.
Both Photoshop Elements 9 Mac and Premiere Elements 9 Mac programs are installed from Disc 1 Mac, one at a time and each have its own unique serial number. These serial numbers are found as stickers on the back of the plastic case that house the 4 disc set.
There is no Photoshop Elements 9 Mac Content disc. Its content comes within the installation of the program. I have never run into the situation where Content disc asked for a serial number.
Just a point of clarification on what I wrote in post 1...I have cited Disc 1, 2, 3, and 4. In reality, the discs read as follows
Disc 1 Mac. For Photoshop Elements 9 and Premiere Elements 9 programs on Mac.
Disc 2 Mac For Premiere Elements 9 Content Mac...to be used only after the program is installed from Disc 1.
Disc 1 Windows. For Photoshop Elements 9 and Premiere Elements 9 programs on Windows.
Disc 2 Windows. For Premiere Elements 9 Content Windows...to be used only after the program is installed from Disc 1.
Bottom Line:
You need a unique serial number for each of Premiere Elements 9 and Photoshop Elements 9. Do you have them?
But, remember...
Photoshop Elements 9 Mac and Photoshop Elements 9 Windows have the same serial number
and
Premiere Elements 9 Mac and Premiere Elements 9 Windows have the same serial number which is different for that used by Photoshop Elements.
Do you have these serial numbers? If so, use Disc 1 Mac to try to install Premiere Elements 9 on your iMac with your purchased Premiere Elements 9 serial number. I cannot assure the compatibility of Premiere Elements 9 Mac with your iMac but those considerations go beyond an installation considerations.

Lots of conflicting information, but let us see if any can be sorted out.
1. You have a new Mac Book Pro computer, and you are trying to install Premiere Elements 10 Mac on it.
a. Is the installation disc an Adobe installation disc that specifically says "Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 & Adobe Premiere Elements 10" and is further labelled DISC 3 OF 5? If not, then I am guessing that you have an unauthorized copy. Did the sale to you go through Adobe with regard to transferring the license from the "someone" online seller to you?
b. Adobe allows a purchased serial number for the product to be used on no more than 2 of the users computers. So, a possibility might exist where the seller did not deactivate the product from his/her computer before sending you the product. But, if that were the case, I suspect you would be blocked by a message about too many copies of the serial number on your computers.
c. When you said that the "Photoshop CD installed perfectly", are you referring to Photoshop Elements 10? And, please confirm whether you installed this Photoshop Elements 10 from the same installation disc as the one that you are using for the Premiere Elements Install.
d. In the absence of any of the above possibilities, there are special issues to be addressed with installing Premiere Elements 10 Mac. Those are defined in the link that I have cited already.
e. Besides all the rest, Premiere Elements 10 and QuickTime need to be run under Administrator Privileges. So, you need to set that up. Unless someone steps forward here to detail how to do that with your Mac Computer, please check this out with the Best Buy people. I am strictly an Elements Windows user otherwise I would be giving you a step by step on that aspect of the matter. f. Do no presume that your video card is up to date. Verify that at the web site of the web site of the manufacturer of the video card, the computer manufacturer, or Best Buy Geek Squad. Since you purchased the computer there, they should be very helpful with these details of Administrator Privileges and video card/graphics card update. Do you know how many video cards/graphics cards your computer has and at least one is NVIDIA?
g. You will need to explain how an "Elements 12" got into the mix. If you want to update Premiere Elements 10, then you need to purchase a serial number for Premiere Elements 12. All the Premiere Elements versions are standalone programs. "Upgrading" related to them refers to a pricing matter rather than updating the existing software.

Have just re-installed Photoshop Elements 12 ok on my Windows 7 home computer following hard drive failure. For various reasons I have now decided I need to use this computer at work. I will buy new computer for home which will be Windows 8.1. I only want Elements 12 at home so I will remove from old computer. Will I be able to install Elements 12 on new computer ok?

Repeated failure of LR 2.6 to load in Windows 7

I have used Lightroom from Version 1 and have recently transferred the programme to a new PC operating under Windows 7 64bit mode. In fact all has been going well for several weeks until today when the programme refused to load properly. After rebooting, I see the main screen window with some thumbnails showing in grid view although the catalogue clearly hasn't fully loaded. Then the screen goes grey and I get a warning which includes the following:
"Lightroom problem. Files that help describe the problem:

C:\Users\----\AppData\Local\Temp\WER313E.tmp.appcompat.txt

I do not understand the implication of these files.
I accept the recommendation to report the problem to Microsoft and LR closes. I repeat several times without success. I reboot my computer and load no other programmes except for LR. My graphics tablet is disconnected but the same problems recur as reported above.
The only change to my normal operating routines, which I follow daily, was to install a new Wacom Intuos4 graphics tablet earlier today which worked perfectly with Photoshop CS4 for an hour before Lightroom suffered repeated failures as described above. CS4 does not suffer in the same way. Could the introduction of the Wacom tablet be the culprit? I installed the Windows 7 drivers. Surely Wacom and LR are compatible? Or is there another explanation?
I welcome advice on how to get my Lightroom programme working normally again because I use it several hours daily.

Hi, I'm trying to install Premiere Elements 9 on a Mac (running 10.6.4), but it always comes up with an error, and the program can't be installed. Last time I tried it got to about 95% but then gave me this error:

I've tried this four or five times, and I always get exactly the same error. The only help the installer offered was "Please try restarting your system and try again." and all I could find on Adobe Support was "Install under Safe Boot Mode", which I tried, and it still failed.
Does anyone have any ideas whatsoever as to what I can do to actually get this installed?

I've never seen so many error codes related to language, jobbo! That's very strange.
Meantime, I've loaded Premiere Elements and run it on a couple of Macs, and it usually loads right up and runs beautifully. There does seem to be a conflict with Bridge sometimes, but I'm not sure if that's the case here or not.
It might be worth contacting Adobe's tech support. (You find contact information under the Contact button at the top of this page.) And, when you do, ASK FOR A MANAGER, don't just talk to whoever answers the phone. Most of the guys on the phones are just working from scripts and KB articles. If you can get a manager on the line, he and she will work through your unique situation.
Meantime, I'll keep my eyes open for solutions.
(BTW, I'm assuming you're using at least OSX 10.4 on at least a dual-core Intel processor.)

I was in the same boat as you, so I went to Best Buy and purchased the box (on sale, by the way). I then downloaded the trials separately for Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements from the Adobe product site.
In the box you should have been given 2 discs (one for Photoshop Elements (PS) and one for Premiere Elements (PE)) and something called a "redemption code" on a square of colorful cardboard with instructions on how to get your serial keys for installation. The single redemption code is NOT the serial/product key you use to install your purchase. Once you follow the instructions on this card you will be shown two serial/product codes, one each for PE and PS. Write them down, print them, whatever, you will need them during installation.
Now go to the downloaded trial file(s) and run the installer, either for PE first or PS, it makes no difference. During the installation you will be asked if you want to start a trial or use a serial/product code. Choose "I have a code". Enter the product key and you will be golden. Repeat for the other program.

ERROR: DW050: - Adobe Photoshop Elements 11: Failed due to Language Pack installation failure
I have tried deleting all previous Photoshop file and also trashing the Adobe file in Library/Application Support, both as suggest elsewhere but with no joy. Can anyone help?

Nothing here works. During the course of this I have had to reinstall the OS and this did not help either! I am thinking about asking for my money back and finding another way of editing my RAW files!.

if you follow all 7 steps you can directly download a trial here: http://prodesigntools.com/photoshop-elements-11-direct-download-links-pse-premiere-pre.htm l
and activate with your serial number.
if you have a problem starting the download, you didn't follow all 7 steps, or your browser does not accept cookies.
the most common problem is caused by failing to meticulously follow steps 1,2 and/or 3 (which adds a cookie to your system enabling you to download the correct version from adobe.com).
failure to obtain that cookie results in an error page being displayed after clicking a link on prodesigntools.com or initiates the download of an incorrect (eg, current) version.

Could you please share the logs from the location(s) mentioned below:

PDApp.log,
amt.log,
C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Installers\<*PRE11*>.log.gz
I'd be able to comment & suggest better once I have the logs but meanwhile, you might like to upgrade the Adobe Application Manager from the following location just to rule out any incompatibilities or upgrade failures of AAM:
