Repeating section : Interactive viewer issue

I have created a repeating section based on a column in the layout editor. When viewing the data in Interactive viewer it is showing the column values as list of parameters. But viewing the same in PDF format, it is showing the repeating section fine.
Can anyone let me know what the issue mught be ?

First of all, lists do not support repeating section or repeating tables. You can use these only in case of InfoPath form library.
If this is what you are using then, click on your Infopath form view, click on Repeating section from the Controls. Once added, click inside the repeating section and then select the text box or drop down field, which ever you want to fill using repeating
section.
Same applies to repeating tables as well, just gives you a tabular way to fill in the data.

Concatenating data in a repeating section of a dynamic form.

I am creating a dynamic XPD template, based on an XML file with a number of repeating sections. The issue that I am currently struggling with is the need to concatenate some fields and display them within a repeating section of the document. I can get repeating section to work and I can concatenate data and display it, but I am unable to do both at the same time.
When I follow the JavaScript example of concatenating fields in the Dunning Notice XPD template, the data shows up in the repeating section, but it never changes - only the data from the first instance of the repeating section is displayed.
In the example data below, I want daysArrears and level to display in the same field separated by a slash, such as 224/3

Thanks for your reply, which is indeed useful as clearly Adobe have made this task easier and less obscure in CS4 by adding simple interface functionality, however I'm stuck with using CS3 for the moment. Its not majorly a problem as the video material in question can be exported uncompressed then setup with cue points using the Flash encoder as an alternative (i.e. or even After FX CS3 also) which both provide the same features as Premiere CS4 seemingly. It is just that it would be much easier to be able to drop in simple markers whilst working with Premiere CS3, as this is what we are going to be using primarily, I just wondered if anyone knew how to invoke this in CS3 - its possible you can't, the documentation is vague at best!

Repeating section issue

I'm using a repeating section containing a dropdown value.
I click on "Insert Item" and selecting an option. I click on "Insert Item" once again and if I select another option, the first item is also changing to selection I did second time.
Is there something that I'm missing?

Repeating Sections on Group By displayed as drop downs

Hi All,
We have a requirement to build an interactive report using the Web Layout Editor. We have a Repeating Section based on Group By to be displayed within the report. These are currently displayed as drop downs and currently it is not displaying all the sections in one go. Is there a setting which can display the same in an interactive setting - we tried "All"; but that just removes the section wise split within the report. It must be noted that this is an issue only within the interactive report, exported reports such as HTML, PDF, etc display the sections properly.

Excel Interactive View (excel mashup) - Is it out of service?

I have an online report based on Excel Interactive View. The last week I noticed that it didn't work. I checked my code looking for bugs, but it is correct.
So, I tried to check the status of the Excel Interactive View in the official site "www.excelmashup.com" but when I clicked on the green button (with the text "Excel Interactive View") I saw the same error message:
"We're sorry. We're having trouble preparing the data right now"
I've been seen this error from 10/10/13, before that day, I remember the interactive view was working fine.
I repeated the test on Chrome v 29.0.1547.76, Mozilla Firefox
24.0 and IE 10.0.9200.16721 with the same results from that date.
To give you more details, if I click in the button "Excel Interactive View" at the site "www.excelmashup.com" using IE10 I see the next log on the browser's console:

In order to discard network issues when my browser request to the Office's Webservers (my local tests are made from Buenos Aires, Argentina), I repeated the experience in a server installed on the USA getting the same error.
I guess if the service "GenerateWorkbookFromHtml" is out of service in the Office's Webservers because it is throwing a http error 500.
Can anyone open the example without problems?

Is possible to take the Infopath form with two repeat section in one SharePoint list

Is possible to take the Infopath form with two repeat section in one Sharepoint list
Take two repeat section and put them one bellow to other one in a SP list.
The motive is that the first repeat section is based in account own by the requestor and the second repeat section is when the requestor is doing backup time for some one else where need to log the amount of time that spend in the peer account.
I have basic logic in the form when requestor said Are you doing backup for some else? and press YES it is be able to use the second repeat section.
Le me know how much pain full is going tobe or not..

How to insert repeating section in InfoPath 2013?

I have customised SharePoint 2013 online list form using InfoPath 2013. I want to add two date fields in repeating section. But I am not able to convert general section to repeating section.
Isn't it possible for SP list to use repeating section just for few fields?

Per my knowledge, there is not a way to add repeating section when clicking ‘Customize form’ with InfoPath.
As a workaround, you can create a blank form and customize the form based on your requirement, then submit the form into a SharePoint list.

Suppress/Hide Prompts - OpenDocument - Interactive Viewer

Is anyone aware of a method for hiding/disabling/suppressing prompts for input data in the interactive viewer? We have a custom application that launches a WebI report through OpenDocument, and the application has applied rules to the nature of the prompt values. Once OpenDocument has launched the viewer, the desired behavior is for the user to specify prompt values through the application, not through the viewer. The users are internal as compared to external, so there isn't a big issue with preventing hacks to the URL to override the prompt values. I see other admin settings for other capabilities in the left panel, but not for the user input prompts.

Sorry, I thought you were talking about the stopping the prompt dialog from appearing when you refreshed the report.
If you are talking interactive viewing mode this it is possible to hide/show toolbars using user security. I don't think it is possible to hide just the User Prompt Input tab.
You can alos restrict the user to HTML viewer.

[1] Is this a security issue?Â The user account logging into your report viewer application - is this the same user account that you logged into InfoView with?Â The Settings for WEBI in the CMC may be different for these users - hence you see different report viewer options.
[2] Are you using openDocument.jsp in your report viewer application?

Change the size of a repeating section based on which optional sections are selected

InfoPath 2010
I've created a repeating section in a form that has 8 optional sections. All the optional sections are hidden until the user selects one from a drop down list, which only allows one selection per repeated section.
My problem is that the repeating section is quite long to accommodate the 8 optional sections. Every time a user adds a section there is a long blank space in the form.
Is there a way to scale the size of the repeating field to eliminate the excess blank space?

Hi,
Try to remove all the blank space from repeating section and choose the Height, Padding and Margin of the repeating section as auto.
After that add table with 8 row and add your optional section in each row, do same thing for each optional section, remove blank space before adding any control and choose height, padding and margin as auto.
I designed the same and it is not taking more than single line space until we select the value from dropdown list.

Sidebar stuck at bottom of page with last repeatable section--help

I'm new to webpage creating. Here's my situation---I have a content section and then a sidebar on the right. The content section is repeatable. No matter what I do, the sidebar always aligns with the last repeatable section, meaning that it's often at the bottom of the page. The sidebar code looks like this---

Problem refreshing reports with params in the Interactive viewer from ASP

I have a problem getting reports to refresh by clicking the Interactive Viewer's refresh button and reusing the supplied parameters. I am seeing this exact same problem on both V9.2 and 11.5 unmanaged RAS servers.
I am using the following function code to set the reports parameters:

If I set viewer.EnableParameterPrompt = false then I get an erro upon clicking the viewer's refresh button (error is: Missing parameter values. webReporting.dll error '8004100e' ), but if I set viewer.EnableParameterPrompt = true, then I get the automatically generated prompts appear but they are all empty. Either way, RAS doesn't remember the supplied parameters. I know the parameters are being read by RAS as the report's contents prove this fact, but they are not remembered after refreshing. If the automatically generated prompts are filled in and submitted, subsequent refreshes work correctly.
How do I get the report viewer to reuse the parameters that have been set programmatically after a refresh? BTW, changing my implementation to anything other than using ASP against an unmanaged RAS server is not an option at this time.

I had tried what you sad.I open shared service in that foundation project i had export shared service.after that in import-export file.In that role.csv,user.csv,group.csv.Like this file have.When i open user file added some users after i trying save in excel it shown messgse
I click yes and save the .csv file and import from share servie. i got error like this
am i doing right way john.or explain clearly
