Repetitive manufacturing  Print outs

Hello,
I am new for the repetitive manufacturing.
For the  repetitive manufacturing scenario I have some questions.
At the time of Pull list (MF60) and MFBF-Confirmation (Back flush) I need print out for the shop floor use.
For that which customizing needs to be maintained? And Print out will give me Which kind of information?
Without any ABAP or BADI setting can it be possible?

  • Cost  of finished product repetitive manufacturing

    Hi,
    My clients produces 5 different finshed products always. I want to map the scenario in Repetitive manufacturing.
    Is it possible in REM to get the actual cost of production of 5 products separately?? fir example can i get cost of finished product 1 as Rs200, in the month of Jan2009 for 10 quantity, cost of finished product 2 in the month of Jan2009 for 5 quantity etc etc .
    Regards.

    Thanks to all for their valuable inputs.
    Dear Mangalraj: Its really a challenge for me to decide whether to go for REM or not. The reason why I am not going for discrete is :
    1. Client doesnt know how much of ( for example) fertilizers it issues for finished 1 or finished 2 . client says he  knows that in a month how much he has used  for example 100 kg of fertilizers in total, not on basis of finished goods. So, i think i will have problem during BOM creation and goods issue in particular.
    2. Since finished products are rose plants, jasmine plants etc, client says i dont how much to do Goods reciept. few plants may still be not ready to be able to do goods reciept.Client says its very difficult for me to count flower plants everyday and then say out of 1000, 10 are ready to be done Goods reciept and 15 are dead so these should be scrapped etc.
    These are the resons why i thought it to map to REM. But client also wants to know price of each plant , means whats the price of rose plant(per plant), price of jasmine plant( per plant).
    Request you all to throw some light on this..
    Regards.

  • Scanned documents do not print out correctly on forms.

    I scanned a pdf file to my computer.  I opened the pdf file on my computer using Adobe Reader.  I printed the file using my printer.  The pdf file did not print out correctly.  The printed text was out of alignment with the form I was printing on.  The printer/scanner manufacturer troubleshot the problem and determined it is not a hardware issue, but an Adobe Reader software issue.  Please help.  Thank you.

    Yes, the scanned PDF size is the same as the paper size in my printer.  Everything worked fine for the past year.  The only thing I had changed was I purchased a new wireless HP printer/scanner.  Before, I was using an USB cable.  While troubleshooting my issues, I have somehow caused Adobe Reader X to quit working.  I cannot open any PDF files.  I get a message about system configuration is not compatiable.

  • Print out a parameter

    Hey guys ! I want to print out the value of "LOT_ID" in the following statement in JSP ! How do print.ln it out ???
    Please help !
    <HTML>
    <BODY>
    <H1>Manufacturing Summary for Lot ID = <% request.getParameter("LOT_ID"); %> </H1><BR>
    </HTML>

    If you want to print out on server console window, just try:
    <HTML>
    <BODY>
    <% System.out.println(request.getParameter("LOT_ID")); %>
    <H1>Manufacturing Summary for Lot ID = <%= request.getParameter("LOT_ID") %> </H1><BR>
    </HTML>
    I think you made a mistake in line:
    <H1>Manufacturing Summary for Lot ID = <% request.getParameter("LOT_ID"); %> </H1><BR>
    should be:
    <H1>Manufacturing Summary for Lot ID = <%= request.getParameter("LOT_ID") %> </H1><BR>
    then you can see the LOT_ID value on page.

  • Repetitive Manufacturing Scenario

    Dear All,
    I would appreciate it if you can provide me with a FLOW of REM, a walkthrough guide with transactions to test the REM scenario and pre-requisites of each transaction.
    Thank you

    Dear,
    Reporting Point Rem
    Steps are as,
    1)You must assign a suitable repetitive manufacturing profile in the material master record to be able to backflush a material using either the mandatory or the optional reporting point backflush function.
    2)You must set the optional or the mandatory reporting point backflush in the repetitive manufacturing profile.
    3)This type of backflushing corresponds to the milestone confirmation in make-to-order production. Therefore, in the routing, you must select a control key which has indicator 1 (= milestone confirmation) in the confirmation field.
    4)You must enter the routing in the production version of the material. The system first looks for the routing entered in the detailed planning section. If no entry exists here, the system then uses the routing from the rate-based planning section.
    5)You must carry out a version-specific or a standard cost estimate.
    6.You are recommended to use the version-specific cost estimate which can be carried out in shorter intervals than the standard cost estimate.
    Reporting point is a concept for REM. This is to be set up just like Milestone operation.
    Select the Control key which is relevent for Milestone confirmation like PP01
    or select a control key which is having the confirmtion selected as *1 - Milestone confirmation
    You need to select REM profile 003 or 004 from sttd REM profiles to have Reporting Point and in OP67 (Control key for Operations) you need to set confirmation to 1 - milestone confirmation .
    Please try and come back.

  • Repetitive Manufacturing Profiles

    Hi Experts,
    i have a question about REM profile:
    in the repetitive manufacturing profile (REM profile) that  we want to post activities,
    what was the difference beetwen standard cost estimate for material and preliminary cost estimate for the product cost collector in sales order related production,
    what is the result of each selection in  sales order related production  and which setting is recommended for this case,
    I would be highly appriciated if you can respond in detail.
    Your help would be appreciated.
    Thanks.
    Azam

    Dear Azam,
    1. If in the REM profile if the radio button is selected against standard cost estimate,then while doing
    backflushing the system picks up the standard cost estimate of the material from the material master and
    confirmations are made & variances are calculated.That's CK40N is to be carried out periodically.
    If there's no standard cost estimate for a material means then you cant do the confirmation in MFBF.
    2. If in the REM profile if the radio button is selected against preliminary cost estimate means while creating
    the product cost collector for a material and saving means then based on this cost itself confirmations can
    be made in MFBF,no need to carryout the costing run in CK40N.You can see any standard cost of the
    material in the material master in costing 2 view.
    3. In the case of Make to Order scenario as per to my knowledge based on preliminary cost estimate it self
    we can do the confirmation.

  • Does Repetitive Manufacturing Supports CO-Product Costing as well.

    Please can any one answer whether Repetitive Manufacturing  supports the C-Products costing.
    I have 6 Co-Products coming out of my process and cost of all should be calculated and shall be taken as benefit for Main product costing.
    Thanks and Regards
    Khadeer

    Hi,
    Are you asking whether SAP PP module support co-product as compare to PP-PI module?
    Yes, SAP PP module support co-product, in the BOM item basic data screen (CS01/CS02) you can indicator whether the item is a co-product or not.  You should post this to PP forum instead of MM forum.

  • Triggering Repetitive manufacturing inspection lot - insp type 13

    Dear Expert,
    I have activated 13 insp type for my semi-finish material,
    in the routing also for the last operation control key has maintained.
    Finally in the production version also we have selected the the same routing.
    I am not able to create Inspection lot for repetitive manufacturing.
    Please tell me what settings need to be done.
    Thanks
    DON

    Dear DON,
                   Before posting thread please refer to earlier created theards you may find some thing which you were looking for related to your query.
    you will definatly find the solution,If the threads are not there then post the new thread with your query.Our great Gurus will help the needy.
    please refer to
    [In Process Inspection of Repetitive Manufacturing;
    for your repetitive manufacturing
    if this is not enough,follow this as given below.
    MM01/MM02
    Activate inspection type 09 at the time of material creation. AND enter the number of days in the field "Inspection interval" in QM view.
    This field indicates at what frequency in days you need to trigger the recurring inspection lot.
    QA05
    Define a variant for recurring inspection lot generation. Refer the below pasted link for the same.
    Related Thread
    It will trigger the inspection lots according to the date of next inspection date in he Batch.
    QP01
    You need to keep a inspection plan ready to record results for this lot.
    QA32
    Record Results for the inspection lot.
    Perform UD for the lot.
    To create variant through QA05 will not enough. You need to schedule the job, and release them also.
    To check whether you have successfully scheduled the job or not.
    Run QA05, here you will be able to see a line item for the variant you have created. correct?
    1}
    So select that line and click on the button "DISPLAY SCHEDULING", if the scheduling is not carried out, it will through the "Message no. 38001 - No jobs found in the display client" else will show the it will show "Recurring insp: job planning: list of scheduled requests."
    2}
    To schedule the job, select the variant line, and click on the button Schedule, it will lead you to the screen Recurring insp: job planning scheduling; start time.
    here you need to define "Job start date" and "Batch job start time", then click on "Schedule Periodically" and enter the at what frequency you want to replete the job run.
    At the this frequency (e.g. if you select day 1) then it will run the job daily at the time you have entered at "Batch job start time".
    3}
    Then replete the 1} to view your scheduling details. And the job is not released then release them else it will again not run and you will not have the lot.

  • Query on Repetitive Manufacturing

    Hi PP GUrus,
    I have few queries on REM in PP.
    As in case of REM we dont have Production Orders we only have Planned Orders..Correct me if I am wrong..
    1) Can we calculate WIP in case of Repetitive Manufacturing. If yes then how and will it be calculated on Planned Orders.
    2) I need to do settltmernt in CO. For that the order to be used will be Planned Order or what is the process.
    3) Also if some one can give me a step by step process for REM then it will be really helpful.

  • Question on printing out repetive numbers/letters in toString()

    i was doing my lab and this one was one of the labs we skipped but im still curious as to how to do it. it was basically about printing out any primative type in the toString but canceling out repetitive letters/numbers.
    ex: String c = "cccccccfebq";
    then the print out when i call toString will only be febq. any suggestions as to how i can do this.
    thanks in advance!

    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/api/java/util/regex/package-summary.html
    Regular expressions...I can't think of a good way to describe what they do....
    It's a way you can manipulate strings (for searching or replacing) using rules which can be simple or complicated or somewhere in between. The rules are like a little language of their own. In particular a grammar is defined in which sequences of characters can be thought of as generated by these rules and so the searching and replacing is done with respect to how the generated sequences compare against the input string.
    God that's a lousy description. I'll bet jschell or UlrikaJ can do better.
    In the meantime read the docs. There may be a tutorial online but I'm too lazy to search for it for you.
    BTW I got that ("aaaaaaaaaaaaWXYZ") from your first example. The question is what happens if there are non-sequential repetitions.

  • Difference between Discerete & Repetitive Manufacturing

    Hi ,
    Can Any  one explain to  me about  difference between Discreet & Repetitive Manufacturing.
    Regards
    Goms

    Dear Gomathi Nayagam,
    Discrete Scenario:
    1.Order Based production & Product produced (Finished product) is changed more number of times.
    2.Order Based Cost calculation.
    3.Varying sequence of operations - complex routing.
    4.Material staging will be based on individual order.
    5.Order completion & confirmation carried out for individual order or operation.
    6.After MRP run Planned order's are obtained which can be converted into Production order (for E products)
    Required Master Data:
    1. Material Master
    2.BOM
    3.Work Center
    4.Routing
    5.Production version (not mandatory).
    REM Scenario:
    1.Period Based production where ceratin quantity is produced per period.
    2.Period based cost collection using Product Cost Collector.
    3.Steady flow through production - continous production - simple rate routing/routing.
    4.Material staging is done periodically.
    5.Production confirmation done periodically - Assembly backflush.
    6.After MRP run Planned order's are obtained as Run Schedule quantity for Inhouse manufacured products
    which can't be converted into production order's.
    Required Master Data:
    1. Material Master with REM profile assigned for all the Inhouse Manufactured products.
    2.BOM
    3.Work Center
    4.Rate Routing.
    5.Production version & Product Cost Collector - mandatory - for all products (Inhouse manufactured).
    I hope this will give you a clear idea about 2 scenario's.

  • How can I print out the file directory?

    Years ago, I could print out a list of files in a folder from the finder window. Is there now a workaround utility to do that? I don't want to use screen shots, as the directory is too long and would require several screen shots.  thx.

    I'm doing some programming in LABVIEW. I need to print out only the graph, without the buttons, controls, indicators. I tried to look for such a function in LABVIEW, but in vain. How can I achieve the result I expect in my programming?

    Hi Fenny,
    you should use the report generation functions to create a report containing your graph image and print it.
    Take a look at the Sample Test Report.vi you find in the report examples of LV.
    Just look at the part of the diagram where it is used Append Control Image to report.vi (in the center of the report functions chain); a graph reference is wired to the Ctrl reference input ( to create a reference of your graph right click on it and select create reference).
    Let me know if you need more help,

  • How can I print out the contents of my hardrive

    I have a hardrive with about 200 video clips and need to print the titles for cross refrerencing. I was just going to "grab" screenshots but this will take about ten sheets of paper. How can I print out a list of all the files on the drive?

    I tried this Finder drag method & discovered that it is very important to set the blank TextEdit document to plain text before the drag (from the format menu or with Cmd-shift-t). If you don't, TextEdit attempts to load the content of the files!
    Once I discovered this, I tried the method with Find (Cmd-F) results & it works for that, too. This means that by choosing the right combination of search location(s) & search criteria, you can extend the method to filter the list to just about any files you want, which could be very handy.
    For instance, set the "Kind" criteria to "QuickTime Movie" & location to "Computer" & you get a list of every QT movie. Or set the search location to the folder containing the movies of interest & you get all of them, including ones in subfolders. You could also use the 'date created' or other search criteria to filter the list to a specific subset of movies (or whatever).
    If you need to do this often, you could create one or more 'Smart Folders' with the criteria preloaded for each search.
    The only drawback I see for either Finder based method is the full path one. If you are getting results from just one or a few folders, Find & Replace can delete any of the path name fairly easily, but it becomes a chore if there are a lot of different ones. Some other text editor, like TexEdit Pro, that supports grep searches would be handy here, but since I'm not up to speed on grep, someone else will have to explain how to use it for this, if they want.
