Repetitive registration required ID CS6

Hi!
Has any one of you had the following problem?
I am in Belgium, if that has any impact on the reply.
ID keeps requiring registration when I start the software.
I could retype the license number but :
1/ what a hassle
2/ when I work from my camping car with no internet it will be to no avail
I chatted twice with adobe's Indian support
I have no intention to switch to ID CC.
Once they solved it from their side (in October)
Second time ( it started this funny procedure a week ago again), they told me to delete a cache file (in program files 86/ commonfiles/ adobe/ slcache)
It worked for a week. It popped up again yesterday. I deleted the cache file.
Today: it requires reg. nb again, but no cache file available...
It took us half an hour to find this solution with Indian support
I find preposterous to spend so much time on someone else's mistake.
Can anyone please help from here?
Thanks a lot!

Unless another user happens to have had the same problem and know another solution other than the one you tried with customer support there is nothing anyone here, or on any Adobe forum, can offer you. Registration issues require the intervention of Adobe staff who do not monitor these forums.

  • Is registration required for Adobe Reader XL?

I had a previous version of Adobe Reader.   I just downloaded and installed Adobe Reader XL 11.0.
There doesn't seem to be an option for registering it.  Is that because it is free?
(I also just purchased Adobe Acrobat Pro XL, and that was registered., which is why I though about it.)

Reader is free. There is no registration required.

  • Installed AND Registrated LR 2 years ago. Shut down my Laptop. Next time I wanted to use LR it wouldn't start --- "Registration required"

Yesterday I shut down my Laptop.
Today I started it and wanted to use LR but it said "registration required" but I intalled AND registrated LR 2 years ago. Since then I never formated the Laptop. It came all of a sudden.
I still have my Key and everything but I'm affraid that if I use it a 2nd time on the same computer, I will not be able to use it on a 2nd one
How could that problem be fixed?
As I said, it was already registrated for 2 years on that exact same Laptop and there was no formatation what so ever
    Thanks in advance

This may sound stupid, but I'm gonna throw it out there anyway. Is it possible, that if I have enough junk on my desktop it might disrupt the signal? It seems odd, but it kind of looks like my signal is strong and relatively steady now that I've cleaned my desktop. I do tend to get very cluttered. I use a lot of reference images and save text clippings to use later... it just piles up very quickly.
So, I wonder if all that extra effort my system has to do keeping up with the junk might have something to do with the drop outs?

  • Hello, I'd like to know about ownership and registration of photoshop cs6

Hello, I'm about to buy a photoshop cs6 retailed version on internet. Frankly, CC version doesn't really fit to me.
I'm not a professional designer, and neither my company isn't any design company. All I need is a simple graphic work at my company.
There isn't any body else in my company who knows and even need to use photoshop besides me.
So I think a retailed copy of photoshop cs6 is perfect. I'm about to buy a brand new retailed version of cs6 and register it under my company name.
That way I may use it as long as I work at the current company.
But I have two questions over ownership and registration of photoshop cs6.
First, Is there any regional restriction? I'm about to buy photoshop on internet. I think either ebay or amazon. I live in Korea, and I don't need
any Korean version of photoshop. So I just wonder if this is legal and doesn't have any problem.
Second, I saw a extended version of phtoshop on internet. The seller said it doesn't have any serial number. It is embeded to the DVD.
I think what he meant is ownership of the program is not based on the serial number but on the DVD itself. The seller said it is un-opened and
without breaking any seal of product. They were sold to a company and never used. But company never used it and want to sell it. I just want to
know if this product is still legal.

I can probably say with 99% certainty that if you buy Photoshop on ebay or amazon, especially with what you're describing, it is a pirated copy that will eventually (after 30 days?) stop working and you will have lost your money. Just buy it from Adobe and have peace of mind.

  • Cannot finalise registration process of CS6 due to Adobe ID error

I have just installed 13 copies of CS6 in our studio, 12 successfully but one is having problems. The registration process goes smoothly using our relevant Adobe licences, the problem occurs when we have to enter the Adobe ID at the end of the process. The two option sappear, sign in later or sign in now. Once we click sign in now it just becomes the spinning wheel of boredom, can't do anything. of course the problem is that it says you have 7 days to do so before it makes the application inoperable.
So what is wrong and how do I fix this and what does an Adobe ID have to do with this whole thing anyway? We have the legal licences, why do we also need an Adobe ID to complete the process

I had the same issue & contacted Tech Support several times before finally they found that it must be my "corporate network" setup.
This is in part becuase Adobe is now requiring that you use your Adobe ID to register CS6.  See the link below:
Adobe ID Required for Photoshop CS6 Beta and Upcoming CS 6 Products
    http://blogs.adobe.com/oobe/2012/03/adobe-id-required-for-photoshop-cs6-beta-and-upcoming- cs-6-products.html
After several "live" chats with Adobe support they gave me a link to directions for a work around.  The problem was our "corporate network" setup, so this will occur on each machine that you install CS6 on while connected to a "corporate network".
To work around the CS6 registration error on a "corporate network" you must do one of the following: disable the proxy server, disconnect from the internet completely to use the Offline Activation option, or use an alternate outside internet source to complete the CS6 registration.
Adobe Tech Support directed me to a forum on how to disable the proxy server, but really all you need to do is unplug your internet source, and then you can generate the codes that are needed to complete the registration with the Offline Activation option. This worked for me, I'm all set now.

  • Confused about System Requirements for CS6 Master Collection...

    Hi there,
For my Design Technology and Photography studies, it is recommended that I have the CS6 Master Collection installed on my laptop as well as my desktop computer (so I can still work when I'm not at school, of course) - but I'm not sure if my laptop can handle it all...
    Here's what I've got:
Compaq Presario CQ56 laptop / notebook with:
    - 2gb RAM
    - Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit, service pack 1)
    - Intel Celeron Dual-Core CPU T3500 at 2.10GHz (I'll admit that I don't know what that entails - I know it runs things, but aside from that I'm pretty clueless)
    - Mobile Intel 4 Series Express Chipset Family (I don't really know what this is, either)
There's some more in-depth information about it (or at least one incredibly like it, but with a single-core processor instead of a dual-core like mine) here: http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-HP-Compaq-Presario-CQ56-Notebook.42285.0.html
The hard drive has plenty of room on it (about 120gb), so I'm not all that worried about the space the software will take up.  All I'm really asking is "will my laptop run this as it is, or do I need more RAM / a better processor / anything else?"
    Thanks,
    Emma
(P.S:  Yes, I know it's a pretty cheap laptop, and that the screen isn't perfect... but for my more serious work, I also plan on running the software on my home computer [which I know completely fulfils the requirements because it's exactly the same as the computers they use at school )

Well, could all the MC apps run on this system? Probably not. Could PS, AI and ID run on it along with Acrobat? Maybe. The critical factor will be, whether they actually install. Since the screen res is too small and your memory outfit is the bare minimum, you may already hit a dead end on that when the installer refuses to proceed because the requirements are not met. If it does, then using the apps probably will work, but it won't be much fun. things will feel slow and e.g. hardware acceleration in PS not be available.

  • System requirement for CS6

I am bying a new PC computer, what would be the best system requirements for Photoshop CS6? Thanks

Minimum specs are provided by Adobe here
    http://www.adobe.com/au/products/photoshop/tech-specs.html
Get at least 512vRAM on the graphics card if you want to use the 3D features in Photoshop CS6 Extended.
Suggest you post in the Photoshop forum for more in depth discussion with Photoshop users

  • Acrobat Registration Required Every Day Program is Launched

We have switched to Creative Cloud and have upgraded all programs to CC 2014. Every time I launch Acrobat, I am asked to enter my serial number. I do this repetitively everyday when I launch. The program accepts my registration, asks me to sign in, I click sign in and nothing happens. I can continue to work as usual. I have logged in separately. This is very annoying.

  • Requirements for CS6

    Hello,
I am a designer for the Web, as well as some print; however, I am not well-versed in hardware or networking and am seeking assistance.  I have preordered a Creative Cloud Membership and am eagerly waiting for tomorrow to come!
I have been using CS4 on an HP 22558hc system (Vista SP2; 64-bit; 8GB RAM; and, AMD Phenom 9550 Quad-Core Processor 2.20 GHz) with no problems, except speed ... which I am realizing by watching many of the CS6 videos for Photoshop; I wasn't alone waiting for my changes to appear (in CS4) and CS6 will render the changes almost as they happen.
I primarily work with Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Dreamweaver, and I have just begun to use Premier, but I am looking forward to checking out all of the other apps which come with the Cloud membership.
All that said, I just purchased a new system: HP h8-1237c desktop (Win7; 64-bit; 10GB RAM; and, Intel Core i5 2320, up to 3.0 GHz, four cores).  The specs are here: http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03152381&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en&product=5 205738#N451
If someone could help me determine if the h8-1237c will be sufficient for Creative Cloud, I'd appreciate it.
I reviewed the specs from: http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/tech-specs.html
Comparing Adobe CS6 specs with the HP h8-1237c:
    Adobe: OpenGL 2.0–capable system
I cannot tell, by HP specs, if its OpenGL 2.0?
    Sound/Audio
Adobe: Sound card compatible with ASIO protocol or Microsoft Windows Driver Model
         The h8-1237c has:
Built-in High Definition 8 channel audio
              IDT 92HD89E CODEC
I cannot tell if this audio is ample?
Adobe: Supported NVIDIA graphics cards for GPU acceleration
         The h8-1237c has:
Video graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GT 520
This NVIDIA is not listed on Adobe's page, so apps using it won't run as fast or run at all?
There is a "Learn More" link on the tech-specs.html page to help find the best workstation; however, that page is for CS5.  I imagine we have to wait until CS6 is Live, before it will update.  Too, I don't have my new system out of the box yet, as I hesitate to do so until I am a bit more certain I will be keeping it.
Thank you in adavance for all of your assistance.

    >new HP has 2T of hard drive; more than ample
You will be able to slowly edit SD (Standard Definition) with only one hard drive, and VERY slowly if you try to edit HD (High Definition)
With only a 300w power supply, I'm not sure if you can add a 2nd hard drive... so I think your entire editing experience is going to be one of learning patience while things happen... slowly
The reason why I say that...
My 3 hard drives to edit AVCHD are configured as...
    1 - 320Gig Boot for Win7 64bit Pro and ALL program installs (2)
2 - 320Gig data for Win7 paging swap file and video project files
When I create a project on #2 drive, the various work files follow,
so my boot drive is not used for the media cache folders and files
3 - 1Terabyte data for all video files... input & output files (1)
    (1) for faster input/output with 4 drives
    - use drive 3 for all source files
    - use drive 4 for all output files
    (2) only 60Gig used, for Win7 & CS5 MC & MS Office & other smaller programs
Search Microsoft to find out how to redirect your Windows paging swap file

I do not use RAID... AVCHD is CPU intensive, not drive intensive like uncompressed, so I have no problems editing without RAID (but, this is for "simple" home videos)

Trying to use only ONE Hard Drive for Video Editing
You are a music conductor, with a baton that you use to point to various parts of the orchestra... this is like Windows pointing to various parts of the hard drive to do Windows housekeeping or to load program segments for various functions
Now, at the same time and with the same hand... while still using the baton to conduct the orchestra... pick up a bow and play a fiddle... this would be doing something with your video file at the same time as all the other work
You as a person cannot do both at the same time with the same hand
A computer is a LITTLE better, in that it can switch from one kind of task to another very quickly... but not quickly enough for EASY video editing
You need AT LEAST two hard drives (separate drives, never a partition http://forums.adobe.com/thread/650708 for more) with Windows (or Mac OS) and software on your boot drive, and video files on a 2nd drive so the boot drive is not slowed down by trying to do everything
    Partition = Crash http://forums.adobe.com/thread/957286
I find that the three drives I use work very well for me, for editing AVCHD video... some people use a 4th drive, so video INPUT files are on drive three and all OUTPUT files are on drive four... I only bought a mid-tower case instead of a full tower case (my bad... but had to fit in the space available on my office desk!) so I use the three drives that will fit
Depending on your exact hardware (motherboard brand & model AND USB2 enclosure brand & model AND external hard drive brand & model) AND the type of video file, you may... or may NOT... be able to use an external USB2 hard drive for SD (Standard Definition) video editing

  • System requirements for CS6

Have a look at the new system requirements page:
    http://www.adobe.com/products/premiere/tech-specs.html
In the past, a legitimate criticism of the system requirements on the box (and on that page) was that they were just the bare minimum for running the software. I encouraged the folks writing the system requirements to add some parts to go beyond that minimum and at least suggest what an "optimum" system would be. Of course, one can only fit so much text on the box, and we don't want to scare people into thinking that they need a juggernaut of a machine to just do simple things... but I think that we made some progress here.
    Thoughts?

  • How can I avoid the mandatory activation that is required by CS6?

Any package created by AAMEE 3.0 is automatically granted an exception to the activation. Any install of CS6 in an environment behind secure firewalls or where users are offline should use AAMEE 3.0.

Based on this account, below, you can't change the email address. Apple forces you to use mobileme.

  • Is registration required for the touch apps?

hey i have a quick question. how do you resgister any of the adobe touch apps? like proto, ideas, photo shop touch revel, readert. like how and wheres the searial number or is there none? i am guessing the ipad apps are differnt form the desktop apps. the reason i am asking is because a teacher and were trying to down load a adobe proto project file off of my adobe creative cloud accont, which is the free accounst, get started. anyhow. we were not able to load the file into the teachers adobe dreamweaver softwhare. even with the extension. so the teacher was saying that  i need to resgister the touch apps and mobile apps so i can get the updates i need that will alow me to do what  i need to do.

thank you. um. i was able to email the proto file to myself in gmail. and for a reason. i followed what you said. i downloaded the file. and it opend up the zip file. as a folder. and in there was the css rules, and index. html file.  so what i am saying is it worked. also i am able to open it in dreamweaver cs4. but heres the thing  i noticed. it shows the file when openend in dreamweaver cs4 as a normal desktop doucument. why is that? but when prewviewed on the internt it shows up as mobile tablet doucment.. its interesting. um. i only had basic web design class for my photography associate degree program. but the reason i know about html is because i keep asking questions. and then start over and over again on a web layout. so after a while. i just got use to the knowledge.  so let me get this straight. html is html. and it can be open and edited on any web design program that supports html file reading. even including an older adobe dreamweraver program like cs4? the proto update i have for the ipad is 1.5.
other than that .thanks so much. adobe products is the best softwhare out there. keep it up... cant wait to use the future products.

  • Ios5 registration requires entering birthday?

I'm upgrading iPhone 3GS to iOS5, and it tells me I have to
enter my birthday with my Apple ID "to determine appropriate
services and retrieve your password in case you forget it".
    Really?
Sorry Apple, I love most of your products, but the
creep factor with tracking of personal information
just keeps going up and up. You don't need to know
    my birthday.

    Thanks for the feedback.
I can find every disk I have ever owned except for the original aperture purchase and the disk for ap3.  Go figure. I found their empty boxes. I must have, in my infinite wisdom, put them together somewhere. Hence, I can't reinstall which was my goal for everything I had: a fresh reinstall.
I did move over the app from time machine. I figured that was the issue. I wonder if I have to pay another $79 if I can't find the disks or if apple can see that I have purchased two copies at premium price. I am running the latest version.
I don't know if the latest version of everything is always the best thing. I can't send out email yet once again. I sent through this about one month ago where I lost the ability to send out email. I can receive, but not send. iCloud is goofy.
I have every thing apple: iCloud, iPhones, macs, and continuing problems. Sigh.
I do use backblaze for my cloud  backup
    Have to get into work...

  • Registration required but results anonymous

Hi, is it possible to have the respondents register by just entering their email address, but keeping all results of the survey anonymous?  Basically this will allow us to share the results of the survey with them, if they so wish, but we wouldnt know who answered what, etc.  Thanks

To elaborate on Randy's reply - if you publish the summary report and/or responses, that content becomes accessible to anyone with a link to it. Using this approach you don't need to include the email address field in the form. You simply provide the link to the published document in the body of the form or in the confirmation page. Here's how you would publish the summary report:
    1. Open the form and click the "Share" button in the bottom left of the window.
    2. Click "Publish Responses" and choose to publish the summary report and/or the responses.
    3. When the document is published you can access the "Published" icon at the bottom of the window to access the link.
    4. Click "Copy link" to have the link copied to the clipboard. The link will look something like https://formscentral.acrobat.com?d=9u1jpRb2I1i-QG*hT715Ew.
Try navigating to the URL after logging out of FormsCentral to get an idea of how the document will look to your survey respondents.
    Regards,
    Brian

  • CS6 System Requirements + Hardware Questions

I am in hope that someone who is knowledgeable regarding hardware can confirm that my computer would meet the system requirements for CS6. I tried to get some answers via Adobe Chat, but the person was not that helpful.
I have an old Mac Pro 1,1 Dual-Core Intel Xeon 3 GHz – vintage around 2007. The graphics card is the original NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT. I see that the system requirements for CS6 state, “Some GPU-accelerated features require graphics support for Shader Model 3.0 and OpenGL 2.0.” My knowledge of hardware is perhaps not as good as some, but I don’t seem to be able to find anything about the above on my computer. In Photoshop preferences (I have Design Premium CS5) under “GPU Settings” I do have “Enable OpenGL Drawing” selected and upon clicking the “Advanced Settings …” button it shows that I can only do “Mode: Basic” OpenGL—the other menu options (Normal and Advanced) are grayed-out. I see nothing about “OpenGL 2.0” and I don’t find anything about “Shader Model 3.0.” I also don’t know anything about the required “Java Runtime Environment 1.5 or 1.6.” I have been seriously considering purchasing the upgrade to CS5.5 that would allow for the automatic upgrade to CS6.
I realize that my computer is old and would like something newer and faster, but money is an object for me. Ideally, I would like another Mac Pro, but with all the rumors about that model being discontinued, I am not clear as to what I should do. I personally cannot make up my mind as to whether or not it would be wise to put any more money into my present computer. I only have 5GB of RAM and wonder if it would be that helpful to purchase more on a somewhat older Mac. I have also seen that OWC has an AIT Radeon HD 5770 graphics card for $269.99. I don’t know if that would make much of a difference or could present problems. At times I wonder if my hard drive might be slowing down, but I am not sure of that. Most things still work well, but I was frustrated when doing some 3D in Illustrator. If I so much as wanted to move an object, the entire image would disappear for one or two seconds in order to re-draw. Again, I don’t know enough as to whether or not the addition of more RAM and a new graphics card would make that much of a difference.
Perhaps I should wait to see what comes about with the Mac Pros or if and when there is a replacement. I have to admit that at times I consider going back to PCs in that Macs seem to be so over-priced. One time I was considering getting a laptop and looked at one of the lower-priced Macbook Pros. I then checked out the HP site and the laptop that I could get for the same amount was amazing. The HP had a bigger, higher resolution screen, more RAM, 3D (with glasses) and more. The difference was stark.
Anyway, I am sorry for this very long post and apologize to anyone who might have waded through it. Hopefully, it wasn’t too boring; some people find hardware interesting. Also, for me, typing is easy and the words just sort of “fly.” I would appreciate any kind help/advice that might be available.
    Thank you in advance.

Without knowing what you’re doing it’s impossible for anyone to help.
Dreamweaver system requirements are a whole lot different than Premiere Pro.
Visit the product forum for the applications you’re interested in and ask there.
