Repgroup still in "QUIESCED" status after resume_master_activity

Question

Hi All, i have issue with oracle advanced replication on 10.2.0.3 database.
I have a master def side and a master site.
There is a problem of data consistency between the master def site and master site.
So i have recreate the setup of repgroup again.
I have done the dbms_repcat.create_repgroup and add_master_site, as well as generate replication support
and resume_master_activity.
However after a long time (more than 12 hours), the group GRPREP1 still have status "QUIESCED" status.
Can you please advice what should i do in this case ?

Answer 1

1. Check if there are error entries in DBA_REPCATLOG WHERE STATUS='ERROR'
2. Check if the Repcat Admin job is present in the Job queue (in DBA_JOBS) and has a correct NEXT_DATE, NEXT_SEC and hasn't reported any FAILUREs and isn't BROKEN.
3. Check if the DBMS_DEFER_SYS.PUSH job is present in the Job queue.
