Replace AS2/3 strings inside SWF

A while ago, on some board there exists some foreign flashes that are older than the internet and effectively anonymous pertaining to the creator, so someone used a program to get the strings inside the SWF (programmed in AS3), machine translate them, and put them back.
Deal is, it's a machine translation. It's humorous, but it's still bad and I'd like to do a proper job of translating them.
So to get to the point, I'd like to know where I might be able to find a program that can get the strings inside a SWF programmed in either AS2 or AS3, show them to me, and allow me to replace them with custom text. The reason I want to do it in this fashion is so that I don't have to decompile the SWF. Decompiling a SWF is bound to generate errors and I might not have some fonts inside so I'd like as little to do with opening the thing as I can.
I have tried some solutions, notably FLASM (Only works on AS2), and some others not worth naming as they are only capable of viewing the AS3 code and not editing it or replacing classes.

i'm not "trying" anything. i'm informing you of your options.
if you can't locate the source files and you can't use a decompiler, you can't edit the source code.

Swf inside swf

Hey. I am loading an swf from inside an swf like so

var myString:String="clouds.swf";

cloudHolder.addChild(my_loader);
When I display it in flash, it works fine. However, if I upload this to a server, and view it on the internet, it does not display inside the swf. Both files are in the same folder, so this shouldnt be the issue. Is there something special i need to be doing if i am uploading this to a server?

Yes, when you have an swf file in an html page, any files that the swf loads need to be targeted as if that swf is in the same folder as the html file. So if you have the two swf's in the same different folder, and your html file code uses... "subfolder/flashfile.swf" to target the file it loads, then your flashfile.swf would need to use "subfolder/otherfile.swf" to target the other swf.

How to find a string inside Excel table

Two finger swipe replaces google search string

MBP with Safari 6.0 experiencing this problem. Another user was experiencing the issue here:

I don't know where the bug reports are to follow up on it and I haven't seen any patches for it. Any advice? Specifically, I'd like to know how to file the bug (in case I find another) and to follow up on any existing issues.

Is there no place to track the status of the report or see any other outstanding issues so I don't bother filing duplicates?
Never heard of such a function here. This method gets feedback to the people who count but it is completely behind the scenes. Part of Apple's "cards close to the chest" method of doing pretty much everything. You should have been looking at the "don't expect a response" screen after you hit the submit button on your bug report.
If there is something that needs clarification, I suspect they will use e-mail to ask for it, but don't stay home waiting!
Have you read Walter Isaacson's biography of Steve Jobs? Things like this took on a new--if not satisfying--perspective for me after reading it. So far, it has persisted in their corporate culture in the after-Steve era..

All newScale text is customizable. Follow the procedure below to change the value of any text string that appears in RequestCenter online pages.
Procedure
1. Find out the String ID of the text string you would like to overwrite by turning on the String ID display:
a) Navigate to the RequestCenter.ear/config directory.
b) Open the newscale.properties file and add the following name-value pair at the end of the file:res.format=2
c) Save the file.
d) Repeat steps b and c for the RmiConfig.prop and RequestCenter.prop files.
e) Stop and restart the RequestCenter service.
f) Log in to RequestCenter and browse to the page that has the text you want to overwrite. In front of the text you will now see the String ID.
g) Note down the String ID's you want to change.
2. Navigate to the directory: /RequestCenter.ear/RequestCenter.war/WEB-INF/classes/com/newscale/bfw.
3. Create the following sub-directory: res/resources
4. Create the following empty text files in the directory you just created:
RequestCenter_0.properties
RequestCenter_1.properties
RequestCenter_2.properties

You can execute Native SQl statements.
Ex: To use a Native SQL statement, you must precede it with the EXEC SQL statement, and follow it with the ENDEXEC statement as follows:

There is no period after Native SQL statements. Furthermore, using inverted commas (") or an asterisk (*) at the beginning of a line in a native SQL statement does not introduce a comment as it would in normal ABAP syntax. You need to know whether table and field names are case-sensitive in your chosen database.
In Native SQL statements, the data is transported between the database table and the ABAP program using host variables. These are declared in the ABAP program, and preceded in the Native SQL statement by a colon (:). You can use elementary structures as host variables. Exceptionally, structures in an INTO clause are treated as though all of their fields were listed individually.
If the selection in a Native SQL SELECT statement is a table, you can pass it to ABAP line by line using the PERFORMING addition. The program calls a subroutine <form> for each line read. You can process the data further within the subroutine.
As in Open SQL, after the ENDEXEC statement, SY-DBCNT contains the number of lines processed. In nearly all cases, SY-SUBRC contains the value 0 after the ENDEXEC statement. Cursor operations form an exception: After FETCH, SY-SUBRC is 4 if no more records could be read. This also applies when you read a result set using EXEC SQL PERFORMING.

Daniel.AFAIK, a string of text does not have an (x,y) location inside a PDF file. The location is exists on your screen, and will differ whenever you adjust the resolution of it. Text can have a location when it's stored as an image though, but than it's really the location of a certain number of pixels (not necessarily a string!).

I had MDS solution from one SQL Server 2012 to another - SQL Server 2014. I have configured Excel file with connection to MDS. How can I safely to replace the connection string in my Excel MDS file and the tables is not broken?

Excel is just used to manage data and create new entities and attributes. Why not first publish and close your excel before MDS upgraded to 2014? After the upgrade, reconnect new solution in your excel.

Search for strings inside html tags ?

Is there any way to get Spotlight to find search strings inside html documents? One example is I want to find any file that includes a certain alt=" " string inside an img src tag.
Spotlight does not seem to include anything inside html tags in it's search, as far as I can tell.
Am I missing something? Is there something I need to do?

Very strange--it does find text inside the html files, but indeed does not seem to have text that is in the file but only appears within a tag. The solution is EasyFind by Christian Grunenberg:

You can do a content search on files in a particular folder, which I recommend since it does a brute force search and can take awhile if it has to search everything.

I want to search the given string array and replace with another string array using regex in java
for example,
String news = "If you wish to search for any of these characters, they must be preceded by the character to be interpreted"
String fromValue[] = {"you", "search", "for", "any"}
String toValue[] = {"me", "dont search", "never", "trip"}
so the string "you" needs to be converted to "me" i.e you --> me. Similarly
you --> me
search --> don't search
for --> never
any --> trip
I want a SINGLE Regular Expression with search and replaces and returns a SINGLE String after replacing all.
I don't like to iterate one by one and applying regex for each from and to value. Instead i want to iterate the array and form a SINGLE Regulare expression and use to replace the contents of the Entire String.
One Single regular expression which matches the pattern and solve the issue.

As stated, no, it can't be done. But that doesn't mean you have to make a separate pass over the input for each word you want to replace. You can employ a regex that matches any word, then use the lower-level Matcher methods to replace the word or not depending on what was matched. Here's an example: import java.util.*;
