Replace Hp Pavilion dv9002ea motherboard

I have Hp Pavilion dv9002ea Notebook with faulty motherboard p/n  432945-00. Once it was fixed, but it broke down again. Can I install a different motherboard for dv9000? Not AMD. Is there a board with two Mini PCI-E? Thanks.

Hello,
I see that you have a question about the motherboard. Now, here is a look at what motherboards are supported for your notebook.
Now, it would be really hard for me to tell you how many Mini PCI-E slot come with each motherboard. I can tell you from experience more than likely there will not be 2 slots. Typically there is only 1 PCI-E slot and even looking the specs up for each motherboard it won't even tell you from there.
If you have any more questions let me know.

  • Replacement of a broken motherboard in an iMac is 595€ or 1.466€!!!

Replacement of a broken motherboard in an iMac is 595€ but if I ask to return the faulty motherboard (proof of replacement, example is class, curiosity) cost suddenly rises to 1.466€.
Dealer claims 595€ is the price of an "exchange" and 1.466€ is the price of a purchase.
This means a motherboard costs more than a brandnew iMac.
Can someone explain what is happening?

Just google the drive in question (or go directly to the Seagate site) + "form factor."  The orginal drive will be 3.5" and have a standard size.
I don't know what will happen with a hybrid, but you might want to know before plungng ahead that all the drives for that model are Apple proprietary, with special firmware for the reading of the internal temp sensor.
The usual result of replacing the drive is that the SMC (System Management) receives no input for the temp of the drive and revs the drive fan up to max. One workaround for this, at least with ordinary drives, is to get the free SSD Fan Control.

  • TS1372 I replaced the hard drive, motherboard, and battery but now can not restore my Ipod 5th gen?  Error code 1416, any help?

I replaced the hard drive, motherboard, and battery but now can not restore my Ipod 5th gen?  Error code 1416, any help?

When I did a Google search on "1416 error ipod 5th," there is some discussion that the earlier version of the logic board only accepted 30 and 60 GB drives (or words to that effect), but the later "5.5" version did allow larger capacity drives.  If that info is true, the question is, do you have a compatible combination of logic board and hard drive?

No if you do replace it you have to get an AMD...the AMDs all have the same type of socket and the Intels are completely different.

    Hi,
HP G6 series laptops are budget laptops. There are only couple of boards compatible with the chassis and those do not have very poweful graphics chips for gaming. I suggest to buy a better laptop.

  • Pavilion G6 motherboard compatibility

I've got an HP Pavilion G6 1202sa which needs a new mainboard.
Current board is model number DA0R23MB6D1 REV D, processor is an AMD A4 3300M.
Can anyone please advise which model number/s of mainboard would be compatible as a replacement (keeping all other original hardware: cpu, mem etc)?
Had a look for this specific number (DA0R23MB6D1), and they seem a little thin on the ground. So is there ANYTHING else which can be used as a direct replacement?
Any more details needed, please let me know.
Thanks in advance for any help.

This is the correct HP Part number for your motherboard:
For use in AMD UMA computer models 638856-001

  • Replace Toshiba LX815-D1310 motherboard??

Okay, so my Toshiba LX815 (All-In-One desktop) has been nagging me for about a month to perform a Bios update recommended by Toshiba its self. So I went through and followed the update steps accordingly making sure I did not prematurely restart the computer. When the update completed it asked me to shutdown the computer to finish the process so I did...but then it didn't boot back up and hasn't been able to boot back up. I'm not too good with hardware, I know how to replace hardware but don't know the specifics of each component. I tried replacing the RAM and that didn't work so the only possible thing I can think of would be that somehow the motherboard is f**ked. Any suggestions? Also if I decide to just buy a new mobo which one would you recommend? I'm not a PC gamer (hence the Toshiba LX815)
My computer doesn't give me any error beeps upon trying to boot. All it does is it turns the fans on for maybe 5 seconds and then shuts down again and then repeats this cycle until I pull the power cord. The screen stays black.

Try the suggestions in this article:
What can I do if my Windows 8 laptop won't start?
The second and third sections mention a battery. Because you have a desktop, you don't have a battery. Just follow along without doing the battery-specific actions.

  • I wanted to replace my iphone 4 motherboard

my iphone was dropped in wated so its motherboard is damged i wanted it to be replaced but by apple only.... i have visited local repair shop they were anable to repair it so now can i get my iphone repaired as my guarantee is also expired. or can i get original iphone 4 motherboard in india and at what price and will i get guarantee of that..........?????????

You can purchase a replacement at full retail price.  Apple will not touch that device nor are they likely to offer an Out of Warranty replacement.

  • My display was replaced and NOW the Motherboard is cooked?

the hinge on the display of my PB was loose and had to be repaired...since the it is a one piece construction (as I was told by the technican), the whole display was replaced. when I went to pick it up from the repair center......the PB started up slow, made some clicking noises from the area of the drive, the computer seemed to go to sleep then a electrical burning smell was evident. This all happened in front of the tech guys. It went right back to be repaired and now the Motherboard and DCN board (as I am told this is the power adaptor interface or something). so the question is....what could have happened to fry the motherboard and DCN board. the tech guy told me that they are replacing the DCN board as a precaution.
does anyone know what could have happened to cause these problems?
    regards,
    Eric

    Eric,
Is the technician an authorized technician? If they aren't I would not use them. http://www.apple.com/buy/ tells you which ones are. The only exception are these sites which can charge less than Apple and people have had good experiences with them:
    http://www.dttservice.com/
    http://www.powerbookresq.com/
    http://www.microdocusa.com/
    http://www.macspecialist.com/
    http://www.techrestore.com/
It is possible the problem with the motherboard existed all along. Remember the graphics chip is on the motherboard. So is the ATA controller. And it could be a surge got to the graphics chip and ATA controller, and only by replacing the display were you able to get the graphics chip to give its last gasp. It is also possible that whoever installed RAM didn't take static electricity precautions, and that could have left the logic board in a tenuous state. The repair simply exaggerated the existing problem.

  • Replacing a MSI 6188 motherboard

My daughters IBM NetVista went belly up -- would not turn on, pwr supply will run for about two seconds and then shutdown. This plus that familiar "burned electronic component" smell from the motherboard. Futzing with connections, lots of retrying this and that -- still dead, so it looks like I need a new one.  :(
The IBM unit had an MSI 6188 mother board (1GHz pent III, three PCI slots, MicroATX form factor). I am trying to repair on college student budget -- IBM replacement is too many $$.
Can I drop in an MSI 6368?  Same formfactor, socket 370, same onboard sound and graphics. I figure I can re-use everything else.
Any issues I need to worry about?  THANKS!

Yes, but you will most likely need to reinstall windows anyway.
I suggest you be sure the PSU is not fried since you don't want to blow the new board as well.
Personally I would try and find an MS6315 v5.0 or some other i815 based board, they run much better and more reliably (except the o/b VGA sucks even more than the VIA PLE133) but it has an AGP port.
