Replace one copy of elements 11

Disk supposed to be good for two installations.  First installation failed because local computer shop had ruined computer with loss of programs , including Elements 7.  I have bought new computer but now had only one remaining installation opportunity, so if I lose that I will be without backup to try to get program to work.  Please help.

You have already got the straight answer.  You are allowed to install on two machines simultaneously but this does not mean that you are restricted to just two installations.  If you have already activated on two machines and for some reasons one machines crashes or gets stolen then you can install on another machine but the activation has to be done via the phone.  When you are in this situation, you can start/open a chat line at this link:

Hope this helps and good luck.

  • How many computers can you use one copy of Photoshop Elements 11 on please?

    I intend to purchase Adobe Photoshop Elements 11 for my two student children.  Could you tell me if they will both be able to install in on their respective computers?

    One copy of the software can be installed and activated on two computers but a) they must be used by the same person and b) not at the same.
    Your intended use is not in accordance with conditions set out in the End User License Agreement (EULA)

    2.1.3 Portable or Home Computer Use. Subject to the restrictions set forth in Section 2.1.4, the
    primary user of the Computer on which the Software is installed under Section 2.1 (“Primary User”)
    may install a second copy of the Software for his or her exclusive use on either a portable Computer
    or a Computer located at his or her home, provided that the Software on the portable or home

    You should purchase two copies of the software giving each of your children the ability to use the software on two computers.

  • Can I install one copy (license) of Elements on both my Macbook and my Windows PC?

    Can I install one copy (license) of Elements on both my Macbook and my Windows PC? The software comes with both disks.

    Interesting. After posting this question I had an "Online Chat" with Adobe. I was told that the license allows up to two installations on the same operating system but not one of each. After hearing this I found the clause in the agreement that stated this.
    Obviously I do not believe that this is a customer focused policy.

  • Can I use one licensed copy of Elements on both a PC and a Mac?

    Can I use one licensed copy of Elements on both a PC and a Mac?

    Thanks for the reply.
    I'll be buying a boxed version which says it comes with CD's for both platforms.
    The Mac doesn't get used very often for photo editing, but it would be nice to have that option.

  • Why is it so difficult to replace one element in an array?

    Maybe I am missing something but it seems overly complicated to replace one element in an array.
    I have a 3 Col 15 row array. Each column represents a board of IO and each row is a specic IO location on the board.
    I have 4 arrays each that vary in lenth that represent 4 different IO types (i.e. AO, DO, AI, DI). I want to people to write them one by one in order to allow a map to be stored as a constant. In that way if the end user decides to change some of the IO around on me it is easy.
    However I am not seeing an easy way to write to one specific element. Replace supset will only allow me to call out either row or column.. not both (this makes no sence to me).
    I hope someone can help.
    Thank you.

    You can certainly replace a single element in a 2D array and specify row and column. Attach the code you are having problems with.

  • I have just bought a new laptop and want to move my copy of Elements over to it before my existing laptop finally gives up the ghost. What is the procedure?

    How do I move my copy of elements from one laptop to another ? It was purchased on line so I do not have any discs.

    That's not how it works. Authorising is for music purchased from iTunes, not for music you've imported from CDsor elsewhere. Music purchased form other suppliers would also not be subject to this authorising procedure.
    Do you still have the old computer? If so, you need to copy the iTunes Library from that to the new computer. For example, in Windows XP, I would copy the My Music folder (which contains the iTunes Library, my Amazon MP3 purchases and album artwork) and put that onto an external drive. Then move the drive to the new computer and copy the copied folder onto the new machine thereby replacing the new machine's My Music folder. Then tell iTunes to look at the imported Library.
    Obviously, you need to take into account that you have Windows 7 (where I assume the folder names may be different), any other places on you old machine where songs are located and so on.

  • Can you have more than one iPod shuffle in one copy of iTune

    Hi,
    I've bought an iPod shuffle each for my two daughters, since they live with their mum I won't be able to set them up for them, anyway, they will be using them on a W2K PC, I am wondering, can you have two iPods set up on the one copy as it were, of iTunes?
    Someone at the Apple store said they'll have to set up two windows users (they all share one login) and login separately, in order for their two libraries to remain separate, with their two ipods? Or is it as simple as creating two libraries, and naming the two iPods separately?

    Hi Angela.
    Welcome to discussions. If you want to ask a question which is totally different from the one which started the topic, then it is best to start a new topic. That way you stand more chance of getting an answer more quickly.
    Plug your shuffle in. Open iTunes (it will probably open automatically). The shuffle will appear in the source list of iTunes. Click the name of your shuffle (in the list). There is a grey bar (at the bottom of iTunes). Make sure that "replace all songs when Autofilling" and "choose songs randomly" are not selected. Then just put the songs on the shuffle that you want and delete any that are already on there that you don't( drag and drop / delete). Then the next time you plug it in, it won't make any changes automatically.
    Basically as long as you never push autofill, then your shuffle should not start doing things of its own accord. So just get the songs you want on there via the drag and drop method (the only method for manual selection). Then never push autofill again.

  • Can't download my purchased copy of Elements 12

    I purchased Photoshop Elements 12 on Dec 23, 2013. Adobe later offered an update to version 12.1.  I installed the update.
    I just bought a new computer running Windows 7, and I would like to download and install the Photoshop Elements that I had purchased.
    According to the Help in Photoshop Elements 12, I had to uninstall Photoshop Elements 12 on my old computer.  I did this.  During the uninstall a check box is supposed to appear that says something like "Deactivate product".  No such checkbox appeared during the uninstall.
    I have signed in to my account on the Adobe website several times.  It lists my purchased copy of Elements 12 but will not allow me to download it to my new computer.
    Not only will Adobe not allow phone tech support for Elements 12 owners, but they won't allow me to computer chat with support.
    Is there any way to contact Adobe support?
    How can I download and install my purchased copy of Photoshop Elements 12 onto my new computer?

    Deactivate is for PSE11 and earlier. In PSE12 you use the Help> Sign Out menu. There should be nothing to stop you downloading the software as many times as you want, maybe it is a problem with the servers. Instead of downloading from your 'My Adobe A/c' download the trial instead - it is identical.
    http://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=photoshop_elements&loc=en
    PSE12 allows you to install on as many computers as you have -  even dozens or hundreds. but only two can ever be signed in and activated at any one time.

  • Only one top level element is allowed in an XML document. Line 2, Position 2

    I get this error when I try to run an xsql query with a where clause:

    <font size='-1' face='monospace'>XSQL-005: XSQL page is not well-formed.</font><BR>

    Here is the xsql query I tried to use.
    <?xml version="1.0"?>

    You need to escape certain characters in order to make XML documents well formed. The problem in this case is the less than sign between companynumber and 1000. You should replace it with <
    I recommend reading a good XML book - "Building Oracle XML Applications" by Steve Muench, for instance.

  • My copy of elements 12 has camera raw version 8.0 and I need 8.1 to open my camera's files.  What can I do?

    My copy of elements 12 has version 8.0 of camera raw and I need version 8.1 in order to open my camera's files.  What can I do?

    I think there were two shipped versions of PSE12, one with ACR8.0 and the other with ACR8.1 - possibly country specific.

  • Used copy of Elements 8

    Hello There! I am just wondering here! I bought a copy of Elements 8 a  few months back, had it installed in my computer, I think I registered  with Adobe, can't really remember, anyway I eventually got big brother  Photoshop CS4 and that's all I use right now! So I un-install elements  completely from my computer and now I am wondering what to do with it?  Can I sell it? or even if I decide to just give it away, can the next  person still use it without running into problems b/c serial number  already being registered? If you please know the answer to this and can  help me out I would really appreciatte it! Thank you!

    Note: I'm not an expert on licensing. I have my products which were purchased and licensed, but I've never transferred any of them to someone else.
    The problem with selling it (as they say here on the forums "Don't buy software on ebay") is that whoever buys it from you still has to purchase a license to use it on their system under their name.
    If you have a relative who would benefit from having PSE on their system, I'd imagine you could deactivate it on your computer, and install it for the relative under your name. That's almost not legal by Adobe licensing standards, but as long as you only install it on one computer, its not "distributing", and technically is no different than if you purchased the software and gave it to them, or bought a new computer and transferred the license for your own use. Still your license. Still only one installation.
    Giving it to someone other than family might present a problem with licensing if they try it under their name.
    Customer service would better be able to answer your questions though.

  • Photosmart Premium C309g-m changes color after one copy

    I have a Photosmart Premium C309g-m. I have been printing from it since I got my iMac12,2. When I try to print more than one copy of a particular item, the color changes an the 2nd one. I can only print one at a time accurately. I can't even set the next one up while the first is printing, I have to wait until the printer stops and then I can print the next one. Hope someone can help!

    Try COPYING a page with purple color on it. If it prints the color, then the printer is fine, and there may be a color management issue in your PC. If it doesn't print purple when copying too, then the printhead has a problem. You should call HP Tech Support and ask for a printhead replacement.

  • Copy UI elements between views

    Hi!
    I hope this will be easy for you, but for me it's unknown yet.
    I have 5 views within the same WD component, and these views have a section, which supposed to be the same within all 5 views (display some additional data).
    They are working from a CONTEX of the componentcontroller.
    This section contains a tray, which contains many inputfields and their labels. I've completed with it on the first view, and now I wanted to copy them to the other views.
    How can I do this?
    Thank you
    Tamas

    Hi,
    I checked it in NW release 7.02 and 7.01 and it is possible to copy UI elements from one view ( right click on UI element present under rootelementuicontainer  and copy it ) and paste it in another view ( same way - insert copied element )
    But
    Why dont you consider the option of creating another view which contains UI elements to be replicated to other views.
    Now create view container UI element in each view and then embed your newly created View in this view container.
    This could save lot of your effort

  • How to replace one double quotes with two double quotes in XSLT

    How can I replace one double quote to a two double quote in a string in XSLT
    I am passing the parameter string to XSLT template contains the value as
    <xsl:variable name="Description">Hi! "How are you</xsl:variable>
    <xsl:variable name="VQuotes">""</xsl:variable>
    I nead the output as
    Hi! ""How are you.
    Tried with Translate function, but it did not work out
    <xsl:element name="DESCRIPTION_SHORT">
              <xsl:value-of select="translate($Description,'&quot;', VQuotes)" />
            </xsl:element>But it is giving the same result as Hi! "How are you
    When I tried with
    <xsl:element name="DESCRIPTION_SHORT">

            </xsl:element>
    It gave the result as
    Hi! BHow are you.
    It is replacing only one character with one. how to make it for two characters.
    Am I doing anything wrong in syntax?
    Please help.
    Regards, Vignesh S

    Hi Vignesh,
    Try this.
    Its a two step process:
    Step1: Add the following template would be "called" to do the replacement as your want:
    <xsl:template name="string-replace-all">
    <xsl:param name="text" />
    <xsl:param name="replace" />
    <xsl:param name="by" />
    <xsl:choose>
    <xsl:when test="contains($text, $replace)">
    <xsl:value-of select="substring-before($text,$replace)" />
    <xsl:value-of select="$by" />
    <xsl:call-template name="string-replace-all">
    <xsl:with-param name="text"
    select="substring-after($text,$replace)" />
    <xsl:with-param name="replace" select="$replace" />
    <xsl:with-param name="by" select="$by" />
    </xsl:call-template>
    </xsl:when>
    <xsl:otherwise>
    <xsl:value-of select="$text" />
    </xsl:otherwise>
    </xsl:choose>
    </xsl:template>
    Step2: Call the above templeate in the place where you want to call, like this:
    <!--Define the variables-->
    <xsl:variable name="Description">Hi! "How are you</xsl:variable>
    <xsl:variable name="sQuotes">"</xsl:variable>
    <xsl:variable name="VQuotes">""</xsl:variable>
    <!--Following call the template which you have defined in step1-->
    <xsl:element name="DESCRIPTION_SHORT">
    <xsl:variable name="myVar">
    <xsl:call-template name="string-replace-all">
    <xsl:with-param name="text" select="$Description" />
    <xsl:with-param name="replace" select="$sQuotes" />
    <xsl:with-param name="by" select="$VQuotes" />
    </xsl:call-template>
    </xsl:variable>
    <xsl:value-of select="$myVar" />
    </xsl:element>
    I have tested this and works. And outputs as the following with two-double quote as you want.
    <DESCRIPTION_SHORT>Hi!
    ""How are you</DESCRIPTION_SHORT>

  • Replace one file in Published package

    Hi,
    I need to replace one file in published Appv Package.
    Please suggest the most appropriate way/s to accomplish that without disturbing users.
    Do I have to edit the package in sequencer and then update it in AppvMan?
    Or simpler way...?
    Please provide step by step. Don't have time to test and fine the right way.
    So need advice.
    Thx.
    --- When you hit a wrong note its the next note that makes it good or bad. --- Miles Davis

    The new package will already be enabled but once you're satisfied that the test is successful you can then provide your users with access to the new package. The next time their App-V client syncs it should publish the new package and become available to them.
    You get the "Copy access and configuration settings" option when you're adding the upgraded package to the Management Console because it will detect a package with the same package ID on the server.
    You're correct to conclude that the new version of the package won't be available (if you don't check that option when adding the new version) until you edit AD access in the package settings (also on the Management console) and add the AD group containing
    all the users you don't want to disturb.
    I certainly wouldn't use the word "independent" for the new package as it will supersede the existing package. If you wanted the option of having both versions available simultaneously, you could do a "Save a new package" in the Sequencer
    once you've made your file changes which would give you a new Package ID.
    Hope that all makes sense. It's easier when you can see the consoles and options yourself.
