Replace service module message

I have an HP Officejet H470 mobile printer. I really like it, but... I have received the message to replace the ink service module (spitoon). I have ordered the module and installed it. I believe the new spitoon is installed properly. The printer will print and is functioning properly, but I continue to receive the message to replace the ink service module and there are lights flashing on the printer.
There was a good amount of ink in the spitoon I replaced and some spillage around it which I have attempted to clean up to get rid of this message but I am still getting it. Do you have an idea of what is triggering this message.

Hi - Did you reset the printer after you installed the service module? You can reset it by doing the following:
Press and hold the Cancel button ( ) and the Resume button ( ) simultaneously for 8 seconds.
The right print cartridge light and the Resume light turns off and the product is ready to print

Ipod service module has encountered a problem and needs to close

I have recently got a 80gb ipod video, but have been unable to use it, because no matter what I do I can't get it to appear in the source pane on itunes. Everytime I connect it to my PC I get a window up which says the "Ipod service module has encountered a problem and needs to close, sorry for the inconvenience etc"
I have followed ALL the instructions, including uninstalling itunes and quicktime (which I have done at least 7 times), reinstalling them with different settings on my computer. I have reinstalled a stand alone version of quicktime. I have tried restarting the ipod service, I have deleted all files from recycle bin and from Temp files. I have spoken to ipod at great length (3 different people, totalling approx 2hrs 30mins on the phone) and to a guy at Comet where I bought it from (20 mins on phone). Basically I have done everything I and anyone else can think of, but I still get the same message.
DOES ANYONE HAVE ANY OTHER SUGGESTIONS....PLEASE HELP I AM AT MY WITS END !!!

hmmmm. i don't have a solution to offer you at this stage. by we can try some general troubleshooting strategies to see if that can isolate the cause of the problem.
if you're game, we could start proceedings by trying a connection after a selective startup with just the itunes and quicktime background processes enabled. see:

IPod Service Module has encountered a problem...

Upgraded to XP Service Pack 3 and found that my iPod no longer shows up in iTunes and thus won't sync, however it is recoginzed by my computer. Have tried multiple fixes including uninstalling service pack 3 as well as uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes several times. Every time I connect my iPod or try to manually start the iPod Service Module (per instructions on a support page) I get an error message that it's encountered a problem and has to shut down. I've also removed all iPod entries in add/remove programs (i.e. updaters and iPod for Windows entries). Not sure where to go to next. I'm back to running XP service pack 2, but the problem continues. Any advice is appreciated.

Just to let you know...you're not alone. I have the same problem with no solution. I've surfed the Net for answers and have only found that it is not a new problem. I hope that someone out there can suggest a solution.

Can i use the Service Module?

can i use the service module w/ the ff. scenario?
items are manage by serial numbers., but we dont sell it, we purchase the item for internal use only. this are the ff. information that i want to track.
1.     track the history of the item everytime it has undergone for repair
a.     some cases the repair takes place within the company, meaning employees within the company take care on the labor but only parts will be purchase
b.     some cases the repair takes place in business partner, (PO Service in this case)
2.     track the parts that was replace
what will be my work around for this. please advice

Hi Fidel,
You would need the following is you wanted to use the Service Module to track internal serialized inventory/hardware:
1. Set up a customer record that would represent the internal use/company/department
2. Manually create the Customer Equipment Card (when receiving the equipment on GRPO or AP invoice, you would want to use a warehouse that represents internally-used equipment/assets)
Repairs: you could update the status of the CEC record when it's being repaired (or have a repair WH for when it's sent off-site).
Expenses: related expenses could be done by creating a Service Call linked to the CEC with details/purpose, etc. which would be tracked on the Expenses tab but the transactions don't include AP (PO's), the assumption being that any expenses would be charged back to the customer, which in this case would be internal.
If you want the expenses linked to the item/CEC then you could use Activities from Service Call and you can link the PO/AP invoice thru the Activity. You could have one S/C record that would be for tracking equipment repairs and leave it open for as long as you have the item - that would be the link between the Activities and the CEC/equipment record. Whenever repairs are to be record, you would only need to pull up the CEC record and drill-down to the S/C to create a new Activity record. This will also enable you to see how many repairs are being down - you could even breakdown the Activity on internal vs external (have it as a Type, on which you can then report on overall as well as by item).
It will depend on what info you want to capture and if you need anything for reporting that would be that detailed (i.e. down to a serialized item) as to what process & setup you want to use. Try out the above and hopefully something will work out.

Hello John,
On a similar upgrade, I used the function RH_STRUC_GET with input parameter ACT_WEGID (evaluation path) = 'O-S-CP'to replace 'BBP_ORGUNIT_GET_EMPLOYEES'.
Avaible evaluation path are defined in table T778A.

ITunes - Ipod Service Module

I purchased songs from ITunes and it has charged my account, yet when I go do download them on to my IPod I get and error message saying: IPOD SERVICE MODULE HAS ENCOUNTERED A PROBLEM AND MUST CLOSE, so I can't download. Has anyone else run in to this problem after installing Service Pack 3 on Windows XP. Sure would like some help. Microsoft had me do a couple of things that didn't seem to help.

I tried reinstalling iTunes and keep getting the same iPod Service Module Error. I also tried running the iPod Software Updater and I get a message that I have an invalid iPod Service version.
I recently tried u[dating Windows XP with the Service Pack 3 updates. I cannot get this to complete the install. I get a message stating that the updates failed and Windows XP may not work properly. I wonder if this is causing my headaches? my iPod seemed to work fine before I tried this SP3 update.

Based on the Program Create a Message class ZA using SE91 (not for fun module) and
add/create a message 000 with 4 Place holders in it like &&&& and
then write

Highly Required CRM 5.0 Best practices for CRM Service Module

Dear all,
I have been searching for CRM 5.0 version best practices in Internet quiete a long period, but could not find anywhere.
currently SAP is providing only best practices for SAP CRM 2007 version.
since most of configuration is differing because of Webclient Interface, I request you to refer a source from where I can get the CRM 5.0 Best Practices for Service module.
Your suggestions and help will be highly appreciated.

Service Module Problem -- Please Help!

Greetings,
I simply cannot get iTunes to recognize my iPod. I am running iTunes 7.1.1 and Windows XP. I have tried every suggestion at the Apple website, and nothing works. Instead I get the message "IPod Service Module has encountered a problem and needs to close." I have even gone so far as to uninstall 7.1.1 and reinstall 6.0.5, and that didn't work either.
Going through this and other forums, the only suggestion I have seen that I haven't tried is reinstalling Windows. That seems like an extreme measure, and I would rather try something less drastic.
If any Apple employees are reading this, I love my iPod. It's a great toy. But, this is an extremely frustrating problem, and I know I'm not the only one who's had it. Can you guys possibly fix this issue(s) in the next iTunes release?

we'll get a crash log from itunes, and send it to the Apple engineers for a look.
Typically, you'll need to configure Dr. Watson on your PC in order to generate crash logs. Windows start menu -> Run. Type in "cmd". Hit return. At the prompt in the command line window that comes up, type in
drwtsn32 -i
And hit return.
This will create crash logs in Documents And Settings\All Users\Application Data\Microsoft\Dr Watson\. There'll usually be a file in here called "drwtsn32.log"
prior to collecting the itunes crash log, delete any existing crash logs in there. (we want to make sure we send the correct crash log.)
Generate the crash, collect the crash log, and and send it as an attachment to this email address.
in the email to Roy, be sure to include the following information:
- A link to the thread on Apple Discussions where the issue is being discussed
- The username you are using in the thread
- The version of iTunes you are using or trying to use
- the version of Windows you are using (mention service packs)
- A concise description of the issue you are seeing
- The exact text of the error message you are seeing

What permissions require to create CASES (Service Module). Creating new role.

Hi All,
Can you please suggest me what permission require to create new case from service module. Steps is below i followed to create case and assigned to user.
1- Created new blank role.
2- Went in service module.
3- Given the Create, Read, Write, Append & Append To permission to CASE entity on organization Level.
4- Assigned this role to user.
After assigning this role login into crm online and trying to create case. Its giving message "Insufficient Permission".
Kindly suggest me the steps i am missing here. Want to assigned single custom created role.
