Replaced HD with a non mac HD and need to format, how?

Unknown to us we put a non apple hd in the emac we have but we were told it needs to be formated before in can have an os installed on it. How do we do that?

I have started from the cd but the only thing that happens is the whitish/ grey screen with the apple in center and the moving circle under it. It seems to be reading the disk at first but I dont hear it doing anything after a few minites. It has been doing this for over an hour now.
I turned it off and restarted in single user mode. I have no clue what I was doing there or what it all ment, but I did read where it said that the install disk was good along with the type of "something" was... i think it was Darwin??
It said if I want to boot to the system to type exit, so i did. It restarted but still on the screen mentioned above.

I have tried to publish site using fttp but keeps coming up wih a common error message saying the info i have input is incorrect. I have tread this may be an issue if host is a windows based host???

If you want to upgrade your RAM it;s very easy on most MacBooks with the removable battery. We'll need to know the model to further advise you. Go to the Apple in the upper left corner and select About This Mac, then click on More Info. When System Profiler comes up check the Model Identifier.

It can be done, but you'll need to purchase an ADC-DVI adapter in order to connect to the DVI port on the PCs video card.

I Have to share my project with a person who will present it to prospect customers. I cannot ask this person to open an Adobe account. Is there a way for him to access my DPS folio and show it? Or can I export it in a way that allows to appreciate the interaction features built inside?

I checked with your account but could not find any order history so you might be using another email address on forums.
You will first need to deactivate Acrobat from old machine and then install Acrobat on the new machine by activating with the same serial number.

If you have single user license, then remember that the software can be activated on maximum two computers, say your desktop at work and laptop at home.

You can set up your iCloud account on your iOS device under: "Settings > iCloud" and a other account for store purchases under "Settings > iTunes & App Stores". Unfortunately merging accounts is not possible but you could transfer all of your music manually via iTunes from your Mac or PC.

Name your editable regions the same in the new template as they were named in the existing one.
Look at the code in the old template. Find all regions like this -

Make note of the name. Ensure that all corresponding regions in the new template have the same name as they did in the old template.
Then do a site-wide Find and Replace to find the old template's file name, and replace it with the new template's file name.
if the old template is templ.dwt and new templ.dwt.php???
Find SITE-WIDE "templ.dwt" and replace with "templ.dwt.php".

I believe if you were to ask Adobe Support they would tell you that CS3 is no longer supported by their services, if that is what you are refering to when you say "being supported". That means they are not likely to offer assistance with you re-establishing it.
But you can probably re-establish it yourself. If you need to download it there is a place for that available:

Some may need a CD while others may need a DVD or can use either medium. Why not call your printer, tell them what you've got and ask them what they need to do the job you want done? That way, you'll be working with what he/she needs to complete the job properly.

Put your install DVD into the optical drive (CD/DVD drive) and reboot. Be sure to either use the disc that came with your Mac, or, if you installed a later Mac OS X version from disc, use the newer disc. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the "c" key on your keyboard (or the Option Key until the Install Disk shows up) until the apple shows up. That will force your MacBook to boot from the install DVD in the optical drive.
When it does start up, you'll see a panel asking you to choose your language. Choose your language and press the Return key on your keyboard once. It will then present you with an Installation window. Completely ignore this window and click on Utilities in the top menu and scroll down to Reset Password. After resetting the password use Startup Disk from the same menu to choose your hard drive for startup and restart.
