Replacement 3GS - What OS?

Hi all - I just sent my phone to Apple Care due to a heated battery issue, so they are sending me a new one. My question is - What OS do you think will be loaded?
I'm hoping that I can just added my SIM card, turn it on and have OS 3.1.3 loaded - with no need to connect to iTunes (well, until I need to re-add my apps, etc).
Anyone else recently have their 3GS replaced? I'm curious...
Tks!

I just got a replacement 3gs from my Apple Store.
I let the genius know my problems started with my iOS4 Upgrade and I ended up with an " older replacement" with 3.1.3.
I am NOT planning upgrading to OS4 anytime soon...and still don't know if my problem started from a bad device, poor network or iOS4 glitches.
