Replacement Discs and Passwords

I purchased my cs4 creative suite back in 2009 or 2010, since then i have misplaced the box, the disc and the documentation, inclusive of my passwords. is there a way of getting these replaced in full, seeing as i have already paid for the software but have just misplaced it years later?
i have purchased a new computer and would like to reinstall.

Adobe (nor any other software company) can be held responsible for you not keeping your records. If you misplaced your serial number and all that and thus made a 3000 dollar investment useless, it's your own fault. I know this sounds harsh, but that's the reality of it. You woudln't expect a car dealer to replace a car for which you have misplaced the keys, either. If you have any prove of purchase left and the sale was made directly through Adobe, you can try and contact support and they may be able to pick it out from the database, but otherwise there's no way.

You can get replacement System Install & Restore CD/DVDs from Apple's Customer Support - in the US, (800) 767-2775 - for a nominal S&H fee. You'll need to have the model and/or serial number of your Mac available.

My iMac goes to disc utilities on startup, repair disk doesn't cure it and I can't reinstall Mountain Lion because I don't remember my I'd and password at the time I bought the software. Currently working abroad and at a loss can anyone help please?

My iMac goes to disc utilities on startup, repair disk doesn't cure it and I can't reinstall Mountain Lion because I don't remember my ID and password at the time I bought the software the system isn't accepting my current details and Apple isn't recognising the answers to my security questions. They don't even seem to have my correc date of birth so I can't progress the reinstallation. I'm currently abroad and have my iMac with me but with no way of contacting Apple that I can find, I'm at a loss and very reluctant to pay £35 to try and get my ID and pasword sorted out given that their system recognises my current details. can anyone help please?

when they gifted me the mountain Lion software several years ago.
Mountain Lion was introduced in July 2012. Did the people who gifted you possibly use their Apple ID for the purchase of your OS? If you used your own Apple ID, you should have simply used the one you use for all things app store. The problem with any purchase at the app store is: whatever Apple ID was used to purchase, it willl stay tied to that Apple ID forever. And, purchases from the app store are not transferable.
So, you can check with the person(s) who gifted you or spend $20 to buy it - or, if your hardware is compatible with the new OS Mavericks, you could download it and associate it with your Apple ID.
FWIW, according to the licensing agreement, the OS remains the property of Apple and you are only granted a license to run it.

I turned ato login off. Set a password. On login it failed. Perhaps I misstyped when setting up. I used the instaldisc to reset the password but after a few attempts It failed. Was it a mistake to select the hard drive after resetting the password. When I ordered my books for the ICND1 and ICND2, they came with a CD in the back pocket (sleeve) of the book. Along with the CD was a thick piece of paper that had the activation code on it. It was a white, square piece of paper with big black print on it. Did you buy your book used? Was the CD sealed in the back pocket?

Try to change your Apple ID back to your old email address (http://appleid.apple.com) in order to set up and activate the phone. After the set up please sign out of iCloud and turn off "Find My iPhone" (Settings > iCloud) - do that on all your devices -, then change your Apple ID to your new address again and then add your iCloud account on you devices again.

Do you still have access to the old MacBook Pro? If so, you can transfer the license by copying the com.apple.iwork.plist from Macintosh HD > Library > Preferences to the same location on the new Mac. Note that this IS the main HD Library, not your user library. I have found that these files are not moved during setup or migration.
Are you really running Tiger 10.4.7? If so, you should update to 10.4.11. You can find the updater here. You also might consider buying the retail disk of iWork '09 from a third-party such as Amazon.com or eBay. It will add a lot of features for you. iWork '09 does require Tiger 10.4.11 at a minimum.

Not familiar with that version of OS X but try using Terminal and type in resetpassword. If that brings up a password reset screen is your original username shown?

Need help resetting or changing my admin username and password without the installation disc

I accidentally clicked on the check box that is located in system preferences in accounts that says "Allow user to administer this computer" and unchecked it. So the account that I set up the user name and password to is not the administer anymore and I don't know what account is. So now every time I want to make changes to anything and click on the lock button it will not accept my username and password. So how do I reset my username and password for the administer without the installation disc and without losing any files or folders????

Unfortunately, photoshop cs will not run on mac os x 10.10 Yosemite, because photoshop cs is a PowerPC (type of processor) application and Yosemite uses an intel processor that can't run PowerPC applications.

You can buy photoshop cs6 or subscribe to the creative cloud for photoshop cc 2014, if you want a version of photoshop that runs on your new operating system.

back using my daughter old mac i have no reboot discs available
for some downloads like windowsmediaplayer systez asks for administrator name and password
while name is there (the first admin from which we bought the pc) password is missing and reseller close out business
is there a way to get password from the system and be able to edit
any tips are welcome and would be helpful

There is a way to "reset" admin passwords in the OS X, by using the retail (or as shipped disc set)
installer disc and chosing from the options in the menu bar, from the booted OSX installer.
If you do not have the retail or computer-specific bootable installer disc for the system in the computer
you would need to get one and use that. There are further instructions and ideas available online in
this Support section which is searchable, and maybe also under the OSX-version threads.
Hopefully you will be able to find someone who has but no longer needs a retail OSX 10.2.x installer
disc set; and you can use that to handle this matter. You can also use the installer's disk utility to
repair the disk and other tech tasks, so with each OS X, it is very handy and probably necessary
to have the boot installer disc for the OSX in the machine, and include it with the later sale or trade-up.
