Replacement Errors

I have tried importing .txt files from my computer into
Dreamweaver through "Find and Replace." However, i get an error
window called, "Replacement Errors." It says that some replacements
cannot be performed. Then it lists files that were "locked or could
not be checked." I can modify these files outside of Dreamweaver,
so I know that they aren't locked. Does anyone know how to solve
this problem?

Locked files is something that is done internally with DW if
you are using the Check In/Check Out feature. If a file is checked
out, then it is locked until the other party editing the file
checks it back in. So even though other programs will be able to
access this file, DW will treat it as locked to let you know that
someone else has checked out the file and is currently editing it.
If you are not utilizing this feature then you should go to
Manage Sites and turn off the feature so that you can edit the
files without having to worry about checking in and out.

HD Replacement Error Codes???????

Hi there I have run the Apple Hardware Test© and have had an Error Code of "4M0T/4/40000003: HDD-1235"
the thing is that ever since I have had the HDD replaced under the Apple Warrant program I have had nothing but trouble.
Does anyone nkow what this code is? and is there anyone else experiencing problems?

B1if - DI-Proxy server has been replaced - error

Hi,
I have a scenario thar creates sales order based on goods receipt PO document. Sometimes everything works fine and sometimes I have an error:
com.sap.b1i.xcellerator.XcelleratorException: XCE001 Nested exception: com.sap.b1i.xcellerator.XcelleratorException: XCE001 Nested exception: java.lang.RuntimeException: The DI-Proxy server has been replaced within the current transaction's calling sequence!
Does anyone has an idea what could be the problem?

Inkjet Cartridge Replacement Error Msgs

HPOfficejet6500A -Replaced low in ink HP Inkjet 920 Cartridge with exact duplicate....error message say new cartridge damage dor missing. Return empty previous cartridge , accepts old cartridge and goes returns to ready to print status with original low ink message, but does print..2nd new cartridge tried. same message, again return old cartridge, printer works but hsowing low in status as original state..??

Battery replacement error

Hi Tech Support,
It has hardly been 2- 3 years and I am already getting the below message to replace the battery.
If I let the notebook run on the battery it suddenly shut down all of a sudden in a few mins.
I am quite dissapointed with this product now.
First, the computer freezes when I put the CAT 5 cable for LAN internet and now this.
Specs of the Notebook: HP Pavilion DV6, I7 Windows 7

I am sorry to hear you are having issues with the battery on your HP Pavilion DV6. I would like to offer my assistance in getting things working correctly for you again. I would like to draw your attention to the HP Support document: Testing and Calibrating the Battery (Windows 7). Now this document has been designed to help you recalibrate your battery if it needs it, and/or test it to ensure it is still functioning correctly. Unfortunately, in the day and age where computers hardware and software technology have been growing exponentially battery technology has not been able to keep up. This leaves us at times yearning for more when our power requirements are so demanding.
I would suggest you review and follow the document through and see what the outcome is. We may be able to resolve your issue to your satisfaction. If however it turns out the battery needs to be replaced I am going to provide you with a link to HP Battery Finder and you can if you so desire order the battery from the HP Parts Store.
If after you are still experiencing freezing when you plug in your ethernet cord please re-post and I will be glad to assist.

Check replacement error

Hi Experts
we tried to replace the check for an employee, however the system is coming up with error message "check has already been cashed and cannot be replaced" Per the Bank it has not been cashed. It is still outstanding. Per the ledger this has not been cashed.
why theSAP payroll system says this has been cashed ?

Normally, when a payroll check is cashed, the bank would send a file back for the company to go through 'encashment' process (I think FCKR transaction).
As the check you want to replace seems to be quite old (year 2004), this entry probably would constantly show up as outstanding when running check register and was manually marked as already cashed so it would no longer show up at one point in time.
If you're sure that this hasn't been encashed yet, and want to replace this check, you may have to reset this flag back prior to running off-cycle.

Find and replace error when member is N/A

I am loading metadata from an Oracle view into Planning using ODI. I have members N/A that need to be replaced with another member in the outline. I am using the following language:
CASE HYP.COST_CENTER_CD WHEN ‘N/A’ THEN ‘No Entity US’ END
This replaces ALL members within that column with blank ' ' and therefore all entries are kicking out. Is there a conflict with a / in ODI? Is there other language I can use?

I take it you are adding new members as you can't rename members directly, you can delete members and then reload new members. This has always been the case for all adaptors e.g. HAL, DIM, Outline Loader and ODI with planning
I am not totally sure what you are trying to do in your case statement as that will replace all N/A members and not just one from your source, then it will try and add it to the outline, you would have to add some more logic if you want it just to effect one member, remember it is only SQL that is being generated.
If it is a rename you need to do then you will have to have one interface that deletes the members, then one interface that adds the new members, but you will have to think about your essbase data as you are deleting and adding so data can be lost if you don't come up with an integration to remap the data.

Replace error 404 page

I'm trying to cause all page not found errors (404) to go to a new html page. i have added
Error fn="send-error" code="404" path="new document"inside of <Object> in obj.conf but it has no effect. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Got it working for my server
in the default object in obj.conf I added
Error fn="send-error" code="404" path="/export/ws1/docs/error.html"
Error fn="error-j2ee"
AddLog fn=flex-log name="access"
</Object>
Note that path should be the full path of the file and not a relative path wrt docroot.

Probably will never ever think of buying a locked phone from AT&T cause its one of the worst system integrations ever that these companies could think of.
The entire problem started when I put in a request with at&t to unlock my iphone 4s (ios7) which did get approved. I performed the entire instructions they asked me to do, which is to backup and restore. After doing those instructions my iphone gave me an error message below
The SIM card inserted in this iPhone does not appear to be supported.
The SIM card that you currently installed in this iPhone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. This is not a hardware issue with the iPhone. Please insert another SIM card from a supported carrier or request that this iPhone be unlocked by your carrier. Please contact Apple for more information.
Basically saying that at&t hasn't still unlocked the iphone which a really helpful apple executive was able to confirm. I initiated another unlock process from at&t in order to unlock the iphone, just to be sure that its not something wrong from my end. The nice at&t lady stayed on chat with me to unlock the iphone step my step while I was calling the apple tech too. And the apple tech confirmed again that the iphone is locked to at&t.
Now, just a few minutes ago I tried another restore to see if any progress is being made and to my surprise I got an error message saying
Replacement Needed. This iphone is not able to complete the activation process and needs to be replaced. Please visit your nearest apple store or authorized service center.
I feel like I am just going around these two different "money hogger" companies which set certain rules and regulations to screw a regular phone buyer. I purchased this iphone in USA and trying to unlock in India, is it really this hard to simply unlock a device.
For now I am going to try to call a apple office in india (apprently we don't have very many out here) and see if they can help me. But any other assistance regarding unlocking an iphone 4s would be helpful. I have however, tried checking IMEI.info, called up apple, talked to at&t (which always say go talk to apple) I do have a case number from apple as well in case an apple executive reads this discussion forum (case number: 566383594)

You got a confirmation from AT&T that it was authorized. Is this correct? - Yes i did get an email authorization on the 21st.
Then you connected the phone to a computer with the latest version of iTunes installed. You clicked on the phone's name in iTunes, then clicked "Backup Now". - Yes
When that finished you clicked "Restore iPhone" (NOT "Restore Backup") - Yes
Are you with me so far? - Yes.
And @ Varjak is right that after the 3rd restore I get the replacement error.
Plus I have NEVER jailbroken the iPhone. To give you another update, I spoke to a really nice apple tech in India who was atleast able to get me out of the replacement error by doing a recovery mode option. However, the lastest restore still gives me the same error

I am just starting to implement a new user login authentication process wherein after prompting user for username & password, I hope to authenticate them againts our company Active Directory user data. Since I am just starting, I only have very few things

I confirmed that I have System.DirectoryServices.dll located in
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\assembly\GAC_MSIL\v4.0_4.0.0.0__b03f5f7f11d50a3a\ folder and that I as well as System have read as well as read&execute privileges
not only to all folders in its path but also to the DLL file itself.
I would appreciate any help in trying to resolve this compilation error so that I can proceed with implementing LDAP features for this endeavor.

True the main method does not throw any exceptions, that's because there is no higher level to throw them to (actually it implicitly throws any uncaught exceptions to the JVM). That does not mean that you can't write your own try catch block around the code in the main method.

How do I replace one ' (Single Quote) with '' (Two single Quote)

Hi,
I have been surfing around the forum, coudn't find the similiar case.
I have been trying but fail. Below is my code:
activity = request.getParameter("activity");
activity = activity.replace("\'", "\'\'");
Error Occur:
Incompatible type for method. Can't convert java.lang.String to char. activity = activity.replace("\'", "\'");
I'm trying to use replaceAll(), but seem like the method is not existed, we are using Version Java 1.3
Pls advise.

Authentication Failed error message on browser while login to author instance

Hi,
I ran backup on author and publish instance after datastore garbage collector.
It went fine on publish instance and created backup file succesfully.
But at some point of time backup failed on author instance and we tried to login on author instance we got cq5 console on browser.
After that we checked replication agent on author and wheni clicked to publish we got error page saying Class not found exception.
after some time we just bounced the author instance we got startup completed message ver quickly and not started all the bundles(started only 121 bundles).
Tried to login author instance on browser it was showing Authentication Failed message.
Please helpout in resolving this issue.

I did not really understand what the problem with the domain/hostname or so is you mentioned but lets set it aside and assume that it doesnt cause any further problems for now.
About your questions:
1) With which user do you try to login?
"amadmin" is default name for the administrative user.
Did you rename him or do you try to log in with another user?
"amadmin" is probably the only user which "works" just after installing.
When you go to portal/dt, are you logged in or are you on the anonymous desktop? If you did not make any changes you shold get either a login channel or a Userinfo channel.
This way you should be able to see if you are logged in.
Also important for you:
Logfiles for access manager and portal are by default placed in the folder /var/opt/SUNWam/. There is a debug and logs folder.
These loggings are most of the time more helpfull than the directory server logs.
To get a finer logging edit the file /etc/opt/SUNWam/AMConfig.properties
There is a line "...=error". Replace error with message and restart the webserver/appserver-domain.
