Replacement for a flawed but physically damaged ipod

so there's a tiny speck of dust under my screen, it's annoying me whenever I look at the screen.
I was wondering if apple would replace it if i bring it into an apple store.
the problem is that there's a small scratch/dent on top edge.
so i was wondering if apple would replace it regardless of the small damage since it's still in warentee.

On your Mac, go to System Preferences>iCloud, sign out, then sign back in with the ID you want to use.

No, that has never been the case. Apple has always by official policy declared that dents constituted user-caused damage, as they most certainly are, and therefore voided the warranty.
In any case, you've been given the facts. The damage to your iPhone has voided the warranty. So you can either pay for a replacement, or you can sell your damaged iPhone for whatever price you can get for it and go buy something else. There's nothing else anyone here can tell you.

If you are in India, contact your local service center for a price quote. I don't know if Indian service centers can replace just the back glass or if they will need to replace the entire iPhone. To locate a service center, see:

Can I replace my Damaged iPod 4g

A while back I have damaged my iPod by running from a dog Lol...but when I figured out I was missng something in my back pocket, I paniced. So I went to go look for it and I found it on the road, broken and bent....I picked it up and it it was falling apart, the screen was shattered and the corners of the ipod was bent....I rubbed my fingers across the screen and the pieces would get stuck it my fingers the pieces near the button and in the corners of the ipod are missing. But it still worked, but now its not working t just died out and when i would charge it..it would charge fully and the end to my headphones would always bend and die out when i would listen to music. One day I accidentally dropped it and it bent more..and more ore the pieces would fll out to where you could see the inside...and the end was bent more to where the screen was coming out and I'd had to push it back in....So do you think I can get a replacement for my ipod for cheap I guess.

Given that it probably hasn't been used in years, it's likely that the battery is shot and in need of replacement. However, the damage may be more than that, since it won't even power on, so it's hard to say for sure.

Leave it in the rice for at least a day and change the rice every other day or so. The rice and iPod should be in a sealed container.

Venom, I use a Griffin Survivor it's a full case, Note; it is waterproof not watertight-- drop it in the pond and your iPod will get wet. Overall works very well, have knocked the "stuffing" out of it, so far it has protected my iPod 5 from falls, drops (that should have broken the screen more than one time), a 6 year old, rain and snow. Also does a great job of keeping dust, dirt, sweat off the iPod. The belt clip locks shut, or can be opened to clip onto waist band or pocket opening. Fairly heavy spring keeps it in place. An added function the clip can be locked full open and it acts as a stand like a picture frame or you can remove it altogether. If you do decide to get one, get disposable screen protectors, cut then to fit the window of the survivor. the window is plastic and scratches easy. The protector does not interfere with function, when it gets scratched up peel it off and replace with a fresh one. They come in many colors, mine is black and day glow yellow, makes it easy to find! I have a startup disk that I suspect of physical damage. The symptoms is that the server (10.4.7) would "hang" randomly, about once a day. I have already changed it and restored from a backup, and now everything is fine. However just out of curiosity are there any command line utilities to do a physical surface scan of the drive, like TechTool Pro but included in Mac OS X Tiger?
