I am trying to compile a form in R12 by using frmcmp ,but it is showing
FRM-91500: Unable to start/complete the build. error.

To implement the solution, please execute the following steps:
1. Download and review the readme and pre-requisites for Patch 5456500 - FRMBLD.SH IS POINTING TO WRONG TNS_ADMIN
2. Ensure that you have taken a backup of your system before applying the recommended patch.
3. Apply the patch in a test environment. (you will get the message the patch already exist or conflicts, just ignore and continue)
4. Retest the issue.
5. Migrate the solution as appropriate to other environments

Getting error when compiling form in R12

getting the following error msg when trying to compile a form in R12. what to do ?
Message file /d01/oracle/VIS/db/tech_st/11.1.0/forms/mesg/fmcus.msb not found.

Srinibut Oracle and applmgr users belong to dba group and there are no files that are owned by applmgr...so whats the work around for compiling forms ??If applmgr account does not have any files, then you have single-user install (using oracle account). Have you sourced the application environment file in $APPL_TOP before invoking frmcmp_batch.sh ? Pl post the complete command used and the complete output and error message. If the install has been done correctly using oracle account, the script should work without errors

How do I replace former owner's name in all iMac directories?
Including network setup and Office file management. I have already renamed the computer and deleted former owner when and where possible.
(I also have an iPad and hope I was directed to the approtriate community)

Two hours ago I bought Applecare and two supprt staff (One very senior) have taken control of my Mac and solved the problem. If it took them two hours I would not live long enough to solve it. I must have typed in my password 30+ times!

Currently we are upgrading from 11.5.10.2 to R12.1.3, As per R12 there are some forms are moved to OAF Pages,
we have zoom functions created in 11i for those forms, Any idea on this ?

when am trying to open requestion form in R12..
It is pooping up with a note saying you are not setup as worker..you need to be worker in order to access the form..
How i can i do this?

Yes you are right, you need to create employee details using HRMS in R12...
Basically you have to follow 3 steps here..
1) Define yourself as an Employee through HRMS Super User Responsibility
*2) Use Application/System Administrator responsibility --> Users Administrator --> Query your user name --> in the person field identified yourself i.e use the employee name which you just created through HRMS (e.g. DASH, Mr. SP). Save the record.*
3) Return to Purchasing responsibility.. start creating requisitions...

Error while opening a form after R12 install

Hi,
I have installed EBS R12.0.4 on linux. The install is successful and i am able to login. But when I am trying to open a forms session I am getting an error "Unknown plugin (application/x-java-applet;jpi-version=1.5.0_13)". I am using Mozilla Firefox 3 beat 5. The browser is unable to find the java plugin required to open a forms based session.
Can anyone let me know the reason & provide the steps to install the required plugin?

Hi Amit,
You need to have a valid entry in the hosts file (under %Windows%\system32\drivers\etc directory) as follows:
<IP Address> <hostname.domainname>
IP Address: is the IP Address of the machine where Oracle Apps is installed
hostname.domainname: is the hostname and the domaninname where Oracle Apps is installed
From IE, add the application URL to the trusted sites list and access the login page from the following URL:
http://<hostname>.<domainname>:<port>/OA_HTML/AppsLogin
To access the application from Firefox, install the missing plugin from the following URL, then you should be able to access the application using the URL posted above.
http://<hostname>:<port>/OA_HTML/oaj2se.exe

Getting Error FRM 92050 while opening the forms in R12 with IE

Hi DBAs,
I am able to open up forms using Firefox but when I try to open up the form with IE 7 or 8 getting message FRM 92050 : Failed to connect to the server. Can you please help me what setting I need to perform in order to user R12.1.1 with IE.

Please post the complete error message (from the application.log file). And, verify that you use a certified client OS/Browser as per (Note: 389422.1 - Recommended Browsers for Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 (Customer Recommended)).

How to initialize org in a custom form in R12 upgrade

Hi,
We are migrating a custom form from 11i to R12. But the form and LOVs in the fields dont return any values in R12. The custom views attached to these LOVs, return values in toad when the org is set. We think that the issue is that the org is not initialized in the form.
Can anyone help on how to resolve this?
Would it help if we used "MO_GLOBAL.SET_POLICY_CONTEXT('S',fnd_global.ORG_ID);" in the when new form instance trigger in the form.

Use following code in when-new-form- instance form level trigger
FND_ORG.CHOOSE_ORG;

then insert following in pre-insert block level trigger

We are upgrading to R12, when-new-item-instance trigger written for radio group not firing. using USO-821 Order Administrator Responsibility the function order capture.After clicking on actions push button
opening Copy Quote for this Form Personalization written.
For Radio Group Copy-Group when-new-item-instance trigger written but this trigger not firing,but In 11i Instance its Firing.
trigger-event: when-new-item-instance
Trigger-object:copy_group
condition:when copy_group='ALL'
Action: showing message.
The same when-new-instance trigger written in form item level and trigger execution hierarchy properties 'OVERRIDE'.
Just I am thinking this overriding by Item level trigger of form.
Please kindly help me quickly .What I need to do?
