hello! I bought an iphone 5 American, but it broke. I would like to do the replacement because I fell for it, will not turn on and broke lcd and touch. in Italy I did not only replace in U.S.A. how can I do? can you give me an email address of a service center in usa? thanks Andrea

Help! should i get my replacement phone exchange again? because there still has somebody's information left!

long story short, got my new iphone 5 on two weeks ago from radio shack, and got replacement from radio shack with same day due to overheat issue, and there cames a problem with battery drios with this replacement phone, because I don't know that radio shack got 30 days reuturn policy and they really gave me a hard time when exchange, so I went to apple store with two times and got my exchange, and I wasn't know the replacement phone was refurblished neither they told me, otherwise I definately won't change.
and I just found in setting-general-profile, there is somebody's profile in here , check the attachment, please note that this is after I restored with itunes and this information still in here.
I really don't know whether I should get exchange again? because they will still get me refurblished phone right?

Stop being so impatient.
If the device you received as a replacement from Apple has someone else's information they would not have allowed you to leave the store with it. This would have been extremely obvious from the moment the device was powered up.
What exactly are you trying to accomplish here? This all seems very suspicous.
Also, there is no such thing as a "new" iPhone5, they are no longer produced. All iPhones come with a 1 year warranty... if the device is under warranty and the issue is covered, Apple will replace the device as many times as necessary until the warranty is expired.
It sounds more like the device was purchased as refurbished in which case there may be no warranty and everything may need to be addressed via RadioShack.

ISA replacement for Exchange services?

Hi,
Talked to a customer today that still uses ISA server for publishing OWA and ActiveSync for their Exchange 2010 environment.
Is Web Application Proxy within Windows Server 2012 R2 a good replacement?
Not that familiar with the ISA/TMG but is it using pre-auth meaning that the requests from the browser or mobile devices does not hit the Exchange CAS directly but instead is opened on the reverse proxy and then a new connection is made to the CAS?
What are the pros and cons?
Do one need any other services for OWA/HTTPS and ActiveSync/HTTPS to work? AD FS a requirement?
Multi-factor authentication is not a requirement.

ISA/TMG can use pre-auth, but doesn't need to - it's going to depend on how the proxy is configured. The con to these is that they are no longer being developed (and I believe they are also out of support).
As for Web Application Proxy, if I was considering it, I'd go straight to the Windows 2012 incarnation of the tool. It allows useful configurations that aren't available in the Windows 2008 R2 version, and will be supported longer. That being
said, WAP will support Exchange connections and can replace an ISA server. Here's a web page with more information on it:

As for what services you need, that depends on your organization - if you don't support other services, you don't need to deploy them.

You will need to talk to the service center who replaced the iPhone. In Turkey that would be the cell carrier from whom you purchased the iPhone originally and is who I presume you sent your iPhone to. Since your carrier is responsible for the replacement, they shouldn't need any sort of documentation from you. If you purchased your iPhone in another country and sent it there for service, you will have to contact that service center. No one in these forums will be able to help.

How much does it cost to replace/fix a shattered Iphone 5 screen in the Apple Store New York?
Does anybody know how much time it takes to fix it? Is it a matter of 1-2 hours? or do I have to leave my Iphone for a few days at the store?

If you have apple care it'll be about $50. But if you don't and want to purchase apple care that last for 2 years its be about $292 (I recently shattered my iPhone 5 front screen and had to get it repaired. They gave me a new phone and I bought apple care with it for that price)

Exchange active sync cannot connect to server after migration mailbox user from exchange 2007 to exchange 2013 coexistence

I have a problem with exchange 2013 active sync.
I have installed exchange 2013 coexistence with legacy exchange 2007, I have to migrate user mailboxes: [email protected] from exchange 2007 to exchange 2013.
but any problem with active sync connection on the mobile device after moving mailbox user. I reconfigure the exchange ActiveSync external connection domain (latest.domain.com) on mobile device replacing legacy exchange ActiveSync external connection domain
(legacy.domain.com)
the process of moving mailboxes successfully without error.
Access OWA for exchange 2007 and exchange 2013 is running normally
access mail from Outlook running normally
Certificate request has been installed and has no problem with it
The OWA virtual directory is configured for internal and external connections and different from the legacy exchange
The autodiscover virtual directory is configured for internal and external connections and different from the legacy exchange
ActiveSync virtual directory is configured for internal and external connections and different from the legacy exchange
user mailboxes are still on exchange 2007 is not problematic.
only problem with Exchange Active Sync on mobile devices, where I set up an email with android, iphone, windows phone. the error message: cannot connect to the server.
but, if I create a new user and create user mailboxes directly in exchange server 2013, ActiveSync can run without error on mobile device, access through OWA, MsOutlook, Outlook Anywhere also run normally.
only the results of user migration from exchange 2007 to exchange 2013 which is troubled with exchange ActiveSync connection.
any ideas for this problem, and what should I check on the exchange server ..?

for users who moved from Exch 2007 to Exch 2013. @Android, iPhone, and Blackberry the error message "cannot connect to the server"

It is a user exit as you are replacing the Exchange rate.. you might want to think again.. however you could use MM06E004, if not MM06E005 to accomplish this.

Oracle CS and MS Exchange

Hi guys,
Quick question.
I have Exhange 2003 installed and I want to try Oracle CS. Will CS work with my Exchange server (I mean mail, calendar etc.) ???
As I understood, CS has it's own mail server.....so may I use my exchange instead??? Or should I install CS mail server anyways and use CS Outlook connector?

OCS is a complete replacement for Exchange.
The Outlook connector is used when you want to use MS Outlook with the OCS.
Mixing the two is not possible as far as I know.

I have to say, although the Oracle mail server may be more scalable in terms of performance, the user interface of various components is not really suited to large numbers of users. We have found it necessary to create our own interfaces for doing things like distribution list maintenance and folder management (within webmail).
One issue we are starting to face now is that when selecting a user in many of the webmail screens, it either displays their UID value or mailbox name. This doesn't really work when you have thousands of users spread across hundreds of sites, and many people with the same name. Although their UIDs and email addressed are unique, it is difficult to determine if you have the correct person selected. In Exchange you generally see the display name of the person, which can be a combination of their name and depertment if required.
This is a shame, becuase the underlying architecture lends itself to being extremely configurable, but is let down by the user interface.

Unity - Changing the exchange to another server

Lets say I have Unity 4.2 set up with exchange on another box. Then the whole exchange server went down without any backups.
My questions is can we install exchange on the same server as Unity?
and then move it to another server(once the server is back)

Unity has an emergency backup mode called UMR and in case the Exchange server goes down it stores the messages locally but is NOT a replacement for exchange and that works only after unity has been properly set with exchange.

Cant get most recent iphone/itunes backup onto my iphone5

hi,
i had an iphone5 that went bad (broken camera), apple sent me a replacement.
before i sent in bad iphone5 i backed it up to itunes on 04/25/13.
i then copied over that backup to an old iphone3 (IOS 6.1.3) to use while waiting on iphone5 replacement.
the new iphone5 arrived and so i backed up the iphone3 to itunes, today: 05/03/13
i just set up the replacement iphone5 including copying over a backup from itunes.
instead of copying over the backup i had just made it copied over my backup from 04/25/13 (the date that i had backed up my old broken iphone5)
while still having the new iphone5 connected to itunes i checked the "last backup" info, it read "date unknown".
so i plugged in the old iphone3 again to do another backup under assumption i had done something wrong.
i first looked at the "last back up" info again and it now read todays date: 05/03/13
this tells me that the most recent backup does exist on my computer somewhere.
my question is: can anyone assist in telling me how i can locate & get the most recent backup onto my iphone5 please?
comments:
1) both phones are running IOS 6.1.3
2) i placed the original sim card from my broken iphone5 into my new iphone5 and i assume that is playing a role in why itunes only copied over from the 04/25/13 backup date.

The folder where your backup data are stored varies depending on the computer's operating system. Make sure the backup folder is included in your periodic data-backup routine.
iTunes places the backup files in the following places:
Mac: ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/
Windows XP: \Documents and Settings\(username)\Application Data\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Note: To quickly access the Application Data folder, click Start, and choose Run. Type %appdata% and click OK.
Windows Vista and Windows 7: \Users\(username)\AppData\Roaming\Apple Computer\MobileSync\Backup\
Note: To quickly access the AppData folder, click Start. In the search bar, type %appdata% and press the Return key.
That should at least help you confirm the existence of the backup you are needing. From there, you may try manually deleting the other unneeded backup.

I have an iPhone4, and the charge lasts for about 30 minutes of web surfing. Does Apple offer a battery replacement service for iPhone4? I thought it did, but then the links were for iPods.

Photoshop Exchange vs Photoshop Marketplace, where to submit ?

Hello.
I am a bit confused about the similarities/differences between Photoshop Exchange vs Photoshop Marketplace.
I have many Photoshop files that I want to upload (over ~400) I and I don't know were^ to upload them, these files are layouts, buttons, brushes, etc.
Will Photoshop Marketplace replace Photoshop Exchange in near future? That is what I thought.

Since you mention uploading files, you'd want to use Photoshop Exchange. Photoshop Marketplace relies on the 'publisher' to serve the files and doesn't have an upload feature. I'm not involved with this project so I certainly could be wrong on this point, but I don't think one is meant to replace the other.
Photoshop Exchange has historically been a place to find files that can be directly uploaded/downloaded which extend the capabilities of the Photoshop application. Marketplace is a newer service that has a broader goal to provide information related to Photoshop solutions which includes information about books, DVD's, events, user groups, as well as the types of files distributed in Photoshop Exchange.
Hopefully that helps clear things up a bit.
