Replacement iPhone will not link with MB

I just received a replacement iPhone due to a bad battery. Although the original iPhone linked to the Bluetooth in my MB flawlessly, I cannot get my replacement to do the same.
I can authorize the phone and Mercedes shows it as linked, yet the iPhone does not see the MB bluetooth and will not link.
Any thoughts? Thanks!

Bruce,
Try resetting all network settings, and forgetting all pairing on the car's bluetooth as well.
Then try repairing.

    The issue might be caused by the USB connection. Try directly connecting both devices to a high-speed USB2 port on the PC.

    If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup).     Try restoring the iOS device if backing up and erasing all content and settings doesn't resolve the issue. Using iTunes to restore iOS devices is part of standard isolation troubleshooting. Restoring your device will delete all data and content, including songs, videos, contacts, photos, and calendar information, and will restore all settings to their factory condition.
    Before restoring your iOS device, Apple recommends that you either sync with iTunes to transfer any purchases you have made, or back up new data (data acquired after your last sync).     Follow these steps to restore your device:
         1. Verify that you are using the latest version of iTunes before attempting to update.

    If you can not restore your device then you will need to go to recovery mode.
    Placing your device into recovery mode:
    Follow these steps to place your iOS device into recovery mode. If your iOS device is already in recovery mode, you can proceed immediately to step 6.
         1. Disconnect the USB cable from the iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, but leave the other end
             of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
         2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the
             red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
              If you cannot turn off the device using the slider, press and hold the Sleep/Wake
              and Home buttons at the same time. When the device turns off, release the Sleep/Wake
              and Home buttons.
         3. While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device.
             The device should turn on. Note: If you see the screen pictured below, let the device
             charge for at least ten minutes to ensure that the battery has some charge, and then
             start with step 2 again.
         4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen.
             When this screen appears you can release the Home button.
         5. If necessary, open iTunes. You should see the following "recovery mode" alert:

    If you don't see the "Connect to iTunes" screen, try these steps again. If you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen but the device does not appear in iTunes, see this article and its related links.

    I followed the instructions in those 2 articles. Still not able to see the device in ITunes. I reinstalled the latest iTunes and all updates to my iMac (Mac OSX ver 10.6.8). I tried 3 different USB Cables in different USB ports. Rebooting both the Iphone and IMac. Still nothing seems to be working. I searched the discussion boards and I see other people with the same problem but they seem to run into the same problems finding a solution.     Thank you for the question.  It sounds like there is no sound with an incoming phone call or text.  Have you checked to see if Do Not Disturb was accidentally enabled?  You will see a "moon" icon in the status bar if it is enabled.
    You can disable Do Not Disturb in Settings > Do Not Disturb or in the Control Center as described in the following articles:

    I have a Dell XPS 8500 with a 64bit i5 Processor and an Apple 4s and I have the same problem.  I have been searching for days and can only get the phone recoginzed by disabling power to USB ports and there is no way I can get ITunes to show devices, so I can't see the IPhone.  People say Apple monitors these sites but I haven't seen any response from a technical person. Have you?  My hunch is they know about the problem but don't have a fix, and have other priorities for their team. If my hunch is correct, its quite extraordinay because I am close to selling my 4s and getting some phone which is easier to work with. Time is my scarcest resource and I have devoted way too much of it to this issue.

    Are you signed into iTunes on the computer with the same Apple ID the apps in question were "purchased" with?  Is the computer authorized for that account?

    I currrently have a PC running Windows 7 and sync Outlook to my iphone and Macbook Air via iCloud.  It works well from PC>iphone>macbook.  However, data added to my iphone will not sync to either the PC or Macbook.  I also noticed that sync from PC stops after 1-3 days and I must open and close Outlook to have it restart sych, which is automatic.

    It sounds like you’re seeing repeated prompts to authorize your computer when trying to sync purchased content to from your iPhone to your computer. Make sure your computer is authorized with all Apple IDs that were used to purchase apps on your iPhone and then try the suggestions in the article linked below.

    I had to reset my username and password on my computer because I must have hit a wrong key when changing password.  Anyway I made a new admin user on my pc and now my iphone will not sync all the way with my itunes.  I flashes a message on the screen saying "you do not have the proper privileges" and stops the sync.  All of my contacts are gone and all of my google calander is wiped clean.  I just want my Iphone to sync now so that I can add contacts again.  What can I do?  Thank you for your time.

    Tried that but did not work.  Thank you for the reply.  However, I did find the correct thing to do though so wanted to share.
    Since on my computer I had to create a new admin account,  I had to go into the shortcut properties of Itunes.  Then hit Compatibility Tab.  Had to check Run as Admin.  
    After hitting Change settings for all users it worked just fine.
