Replacement iPod, Same Problem.

I just got my replacement photo ipod and paid thirty dollars for S+H. Now, the new iPod has the exact same problem. What route should I take? Will I be able to get another replacement? What will Apple do to ensure it doesn't happen again?
I'm very upset and would like to hear what I should do.

    Have you formatted the replacement iPod with the iPod Updater? iPods come back from Apple formatted for the Mac and must be prepared for Windows use.
    If you haven't done this yet, this is the reason iTunes doesn't recognize it.

    Me and my brother each bought a mini ipod today, and we both have the same problem. the ipods are skipping parts of songs and getting stuck, like a cd player does when the cd is scratched. please help!

    Mine had a similar problem after I plugged it into my computer's speakers to play. I sent it in for repair and they sent me a new one...still don't know what the problem was though.

  • Power button is stuck on my 6th generation ipod nano (two ipod same problem)

    I've got two I pod nano touch 6th generation, and both of them have the same problem: power button is stuck.
    both have 1 year and some months, so the warranty is over
    One of them  has 2 button stuck, the up volume and the power button.
    I've read many users had the same problem, Apple should do a recall, because too many ipods are affected by the button stuck problem!!!
    I feel really dissapointed by Apple...

    This is a known and very common issue with the 6th generation, the buttons on the newly bought 6ht gen nanos last about a year and all refurbished ipods (the ones you get when you send your ipod in for repairs) last 6 months if you are lucky.  A refurbished ipod is basically someone elses ipod that had another problem.  You should not buy or send them in to be repaired, or buy this model new because it will break and you will be dissapointed.  My fourth 6th gen broke last night, the power button is stuck, like my last 3 ipod 6th gen nanos.

  • Replacement iPod syncing problem

    Today, I received a replacement 32GB iPod touch 2nd gen because the battery died in my old one. When I plugged it in to my laptop (HP running Windows 7), a "USB Device Not Recognized" message appeared, and a USB --> iTunes message appeared on the screen. I plugged it into my wall charger and it wouldn't charge either, and showed the same message.
    I am running the most recent version of iTunes.

  • Multiple replacements with same problem

    I cannot count how many replacement Motorola android RAZR HD I have had but its getting ridiculous. Must have been  at least 4 in the last couple weeks. My wife has had her iPhone since we started our contract but I must be at 10+ droids by now. They all have their own issues but mostly all fail to charge properly. Thought I may be at fault so for this last one I went and bought brand new chargers at Verizon store. But nope, I have been using this phone 28 hours and I cannot get it to charge. Just over one day! If I am told that the fix for this is another droid, well that may be the end of Verizon for me. I live in a remote area with satellite internet and so for me to send my info to the cloud and pull it to new device costs me a lot each time. Don't even get me started w Verizon cloud issues. When I first asked how to transfer ally info to new phone I was told via Verizon cloud. I got none of my photos. They are in the cloud and I have to one by one download them. I didn't have to do that for my contacts but I do for photos, well that's not transferring ALL my stuff as I asked now is it. Anyways back to this garbage droid they keep sending me. Anyone w any ideas? cause if I can only  swap for another garbage droid that will only cost me $ to put only my contacts on and then give same issue Tomorrow I would rather cancel our two phones and go w a company that understands I can only follow their rules for so long before I need someone to make a real world decision and get me a phone that I will not want to throw multiple times every day.

    Have you ever checked to see if there is an update for your router? If yes, then power off router. Then on iPhone go into settings and do a reset network settings. Power router back on, and try connecting phone to router.

  • Replacement Ipod Dead With Same Problems, what am i doing wrong?

    I bought a Classic, it started to not play some of my songs, then it crashed, then i couldnt revive it or put anything on it, so i sent it back and received a new one promptly. Guess what, same problems, stopped playing some songs about a week ago, HDD makes strange sounds as if trying and failing to locate tracks, then i did a restore after i reworked my itunes library and now the pc is starting to not recognize it and cant add songs and restoring is a pointless option, ipod is full of songs up to the letter G after a failed library sync. PlEASE help me remedy so that i dont have to replace my replacement with another ipod that needs to be replaced

    Ok here's what I did:  While the modem was still connected to my PC, my router was plugged in and just had power so I did the hard reset like you said.  Then I plugged the modem into the router, reset my modem and plugged the ethernet cable back into my tower and Now it works.  The only problem is that I have is that when i get to http://198.162.1.1/ and leave username blank and password admin, I keep getting 401 Unauthorized.  I would really like to be on a secured network but I never could because the easylink advisor wouldn't work right and I couldn't get the laptop to get connected.  Thank you for your help.

    Well if the same problem happens to all your ipods, it makes me suspect that there is something wrong with your headphones, as it would be a strange coincidence that all the ipods have the same problem.
    Unless the ipods have the same problem with different headphones!

  • I am restoring the data from my itunes account to a replacement ipod touch. After all is finished in my laptop through itunes the ipod stays on the same page and does not let me finish the process, wht shoul i do?

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try on another computer          
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    Now one works perfectly, however the other does not. I went to the Apple store again, and they replaced the replacement iPhone 5S with another 5S. Same problem.
    I went back to the Apple store again and they replaced replacement #2 with another replacement, so this is the 3rd time! They recommended I take the replacement iPhone 5S and not restore,but start as a new iPhone. Before I did anything, I checked to see if the WiFi worked "out of the box"....it did not!! Thus, there wasn't any reason to do a new install, since it did not appear to be my software load.
    By the way, all 3 of my MacBook Pro's and iPad work perfectly over WiFi.
    Also, all my iPhones and iPad are on v 7.04
    It doesn't appear to make sense to go back to the Apple store Genius Bar, as it appears all of their stock have this issue.
