Replacement not like new

I just got back my unit after being without it for a month as I had it serviced because of faulty head phone connection.
I purchased my Zen Mini in January and was loving it, after an exhausti've decision NOT to go Apple.
The unit I just got back has such poor fit and finish I called Customer care again only to be told I would need to wait for a call back in 24hrs to see what they can do.
Not only did the battery cover appear to be a slightly different color, but there is a sharp edge at the entire base of the unit!!!
Battery cover not a close fit to body of unit now.
One of the GREATEST features to me was how the Mini "felt" in the hand and now that has been ruined.
I am not going to be pleased if I have to incur another expense to ship it pack WITH insurance all the way to TIMBUKTU OKlahoma somewhere!

LOL WOW..i will also agree that creative knows how to take care of us most of the time. Besides the fact that they only work from 9 to 5, and only 5 days a week with tons of holidays off, they still get the job done, so i guess its a fair trade off so the ppl at customer service remain happy and take pride and their work besides acting like a bunch of grumpy jack a****..like some other companies i know of..

Regular expression - Replace not like

Hi All,
Is there a regexp pattern to replace anything other than 'oracle' from the below string.
"oracle sdsd oracle xyd fgh oracle idmdh asasas trtrt"
The result will be "oracleoracleoracle"
If I want to write like regexp_replace('oracle sdsd oracle xyd fgh oracle idmdh asasas trtrt',<pattern>), what should be the pattern?
I know how to get the result by nesting regexp and other functions.
But is there any single pattern for this?

No, Photos did not replace iPhoto. It did not disable iPhoto. You updated to 10.10.3 before updating iPhoto to version that was compatible with Yosemite. That is why your older version is disabled.

It's been awhile since I've done something like this, but if I memory serves me, I believe you use the System Restore function to return your computer to the state it was in prior to installing iTunes 11.
That should take it back to the last version of iTunes you'd installed. Of course, any other changes you've made to your system since then (e.g. other programs installed, etc.) will also be changed back.
Not to sound like a jerk for referring you to Google like so many people online tend to do--but--I think there are instructions for the process of reverting to a previous version available online. I've done it in the past with IE 8 vs IE 9.

To do this in iMovie 11. use the SHARE menu. Share your project using the Share menu and choose Export Using QuickTime.

I would imagine it's the MyWay Searchbar which is classified by most anti-malware scanners as adware, or even worse as spyware. I say that because I see "SmileyCentral" in your list of plugins and that's an add-on for that particular toolbar. You can disable that via Tools | Add-ons | Plugins.

You might try a "hard reset" where you remove battery and AC charger, hold down power button 20-30 seconds and then reassemble and turn on. Reset BIOS (F10) to default settings, too.

Has anyone ever managed to get a 'new' iphone 4 replacement, not refurbished!

Gone through 3 'replacements' now. First (original) had an antenna problem, the second one had pixel issues and the present one has awful, truly awful battery drainage! Enough is enough! Getting tired of all this. Has someone ever managed to get a new iphone 4 replacement which is 'new' and not been refurbished? I was told last time after complaining to the apple care CS that the express service they provide doesn't use 'refurbished' iphones and has a seperate stock. But thats obviously not true since the 'express' one has turned out to be a dod as well!
No chance in **** I am getting another apple product in the future...

I've read the warranty terms and other threads on here regarding it but I wanted to know if someone HAD personally gone through something similiar and escalated the matter to the higher CS at AppleCare. If yes, did you get a different result and what was it? Thing is the last time this happened and I got send my present 'replacement' iphone 4 (one with current battery issues), I fell for the whole 'Express Service' (which apparently doesn't use refurbished iphones). This seems a blatant lie since I find it hard to believe that a new phone would have such serious battery issues. Have I just been really unlucky or is this a common theme with replacements?

I downloaded carbon copy. transferred entire internal hd to new replacement HD thru USB. computer booted from replacement hrdrive. then installed replacement hard rive into iMac. when rebooting imac did not recognized new replacement hd.

It should not matter. CCC will "clone" the recovery partition as well, but not knowing exactly what operation you had CCC perform it is difficult to know what may have gone wrong - it has many customizable options and you have to choose the correct one.
I have performed the same transplant as you described and didn't have a problem, but if your Mac is not recognizing the internal HD you really have no choice other than to reinitialize it as suggested. After that, install OS X, upgrade to Mountain Lion if required, and migrate your old account(s) from your backup.

If they are Apple-brand headphones, then the Apple Store will handle the warrranty and, absent any evidence of abuse, should replace the headphones. If the headphones were made by some other company, then unless you purchased the headphones in the last fourteen days, you will have to contact the manufacturer of the headphones for warranty support.
