Replacement of iPhone with identation on the back of it
Recently, my Iphone accidentally fell off while I was charging it. There was indentation of the back of the phone.
I also found out after that incident, my Iphone cannot be charged to 100% for a few times, eg. It remain constant at 98%.
My apps also loaded slower after that.
Can I get a replacement of iPhone because of the stated reasons above?
Or I have to get myself a new phone?

The back of the iPhone 4 is glass...AFAIK, you don't "dent" glass...so I don't quite understand what you're talking about here.

If your phone is in fact damaged because of this fall, such damage is not covered by warranty. Thus any replacement will be at your expense unless you have some kind of insurance coverage.

I can't synch my iPhone with iTunes because the device does not show up in a device window when I plug it in...it's missing in action and thus I'm not able to add any content from the iTunes to my iPhone, e.g. podcasts. All the instructions on synching start with "find your device in the device window". But what if you have no device window?
Missing "message" from above: The iPad "DGMTR" is synced with another iTunes library on DGMTR's MacBook Pro. Do you want to erase this iPad and sync with this iTunes library? An iPad can be synched with only one iTunes library at a time. Erasing and syncing replaces the contents of this iTunes library.
I thought the libraries were the same. -
I just purchased the Mac Mini Server with the intention of replacing Lion Server with Lion for the first hard drive while installing Windows 7 thru Bootcamp on the second hard drive. Is it possible for me to do this? Thanks.
I would use Parallels or VMWare and use the second drive to hold the virtual machine. That way the VM only uses the space that it needs and you can still use the remainder of the drive for other things, not to mention that you would not need to reboot to run windows.
Also Time Machine does not back up a boot camp partition. -

When I sync my iphone with Windows 7, the contact moves to my computer, but the contact is not complete. No phone numbers. What am I doing wrong? I have also tried sync-ing with Yahoo, and that doesn't work either.
The music sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Transfer Purchases
It has always been very basic to always maintain a backup copy of your computer for just such an occasion. Use your backup copy to move everything to your new computer. -
When away from my home, I need to utilize iPhone Hotspot (AT&T). I can access RoadRunner Webmail and download to my iPhone with or without the hotspot. But, if I wish to use the Iphone Hotspot to download email via the Apple mail program on my laptop, I get an error message indicating: "The sender address [username redacted]@twcny.rr.com was rejected by the server smtp-server.twcny.rr.com" but I am able to access internet sites. Anyone run into this issue? Any fixes? Thankx

All of a sudden, I can't sync my IPhone with Outlook. The calendar on the phone is now blank.
Similar problem.
No problem with the imac G5 but tower Power PC allows only the initial sync (ie after erasing all contacts and events in my phone and reseting device in bluetooth syst pref and in isync).
For the following syncings I always get the same message.
[K800i] Connection to the phone failed.
Please make sure that your phone is turned on. If this error occurs again, please restart your phone.
Restarting my phone does not help.

AirPort Express wireless connection, when I surf the news sites so I linked to **** pages. And must close the window. If I use my iPhone with Internet sharing the same computer, then I have no problem.
I believe that it is in AirPort Express, and would have to clean it. How do you do that?You need to use the Express in router mode.. I think you are trying to use it in bridge mode.. but you need to give us a lot more details.. screenshots might help more than anything.

I can't sync my iPhone and back up my data with my computer because iTunes says to enter the passcode into my iPhone to unlock it, but I am unable to unlock and enter in my passcode on my iPhone because the screen is shattered. I have my replacement iPhone with me and I'm not going to activate it until I can sync/get the data from my broken iPhone. I have the envelope to send my broken iPhone back to the Verizon store or whatever so that's not a problem. I just can't sync my old iPhone with my computer.

Now I have a few more questions: If I mail my broken iPhone to Asurion, will I be able to get my data off of my iPhone once Asurion has it? And what will happen to my old iPhone and the data on it if I activate my replacement iPhone? Will my broken iPhone just become de-activated and will the data be erased or lost or something? Could I still sync it (with the computer ir originally synced with) and back up the data?

If it is just the back glass panel that is broken they are very easily replaced at home and a lot cheaper too. The two screws at the bottom of the phone either side of the dock connector need unscrewing and then the back sliding up a little and popping off, then put a new one on and slid it back down and put the screws back in and hey presto!
Technically speaking this will void your warranty and probably not supposed to mention it on here but a replacement is at least $149 (depending on which model you have) whereas the new back on eBay is $10.45 for the iPhone 4 replacement back and screwdrivers or $11.53 for the 4S replacement with screwdrivers -
so my iphone has a really big crack on the back and it has also chipped into the iphone itself near the area you plug the charger into. my iphoe will not turn on unless it is connected to the charger, when i discopnnect the charger the whole screen will go blank. i need answers. can this issue be fixed or would i need to replace it? thanks! Can you restore an already setup iPhone with an iPod touch back up
I got my iphone 4s and got it set up at the sprint store. Now i want all my app data (level, scores, ect.) on it and the only way ive found to do that is to restore it and use the back up from my ipod touch. If i did that would i have to go back to sprint and get it re-setup on to my account or would it keep that i had set it up on my account
Makes no difference.
If you want or need to restore your iPhone with iTunes, the current iOS version will be reinstalled.
If you want to transfer the backup for your iPod Touch to your iPhone, you must restore your iPhone with iTunes and when prompted, select restore from the backup for your iPod Touch as already provided.
If there was another way, I would provide it. -
Replacement iPad Air came scratched on the back
I recently found a dead pixel on my new iPad Air that I bought at Target on Black Friday so I scheduled a genius appointment and had it swapped out for one with a good display. Upon getting home and inspecting it a bit, I noticed that the back of the iPad had minor scratches along the edges. You can imagine my disappointment. I rescheduled an appointment at the Genius Bar but I have a feeling that they're going to tell me that they don't cover cosmetic blemishes even though that's literally how they gave it to me. I guess I got overly confident in apples quality control only to end up with this situation. Does anyone know if they'll be willing to swap out the scratched unit that I received?

I am not speaking for Apple - but here's one question I would ask myself if I were in the same circumstance:
Did you get a brand new iPad as a replacement unit, or a refurbished one?
