Replacement or linked song on Spotify's catalog is wrong

Today I wanted to listen to a song in spotify's catalog (not a local file) and the song played was a live version. This was wrong because the song that should have been played (and the one I wanted to listen to) was the studio version that was released with the album.
It strikes me as odd because I remember hearing the studio version on spotify. Also, all the other songs in the same album are not linked/replaced. So it was probably replaced after the live version was added to the catalog.
I don't really know what criteria you use in order to replace/link songs but one of them should be: if the song's name metadata has no "live" in it, then it shouldn't be replaced/linked with one that has it and viceversa.

On those tracks that are being played incorrectly, right click on the track name and select "Unlink Track". That will break the link between your local file and that track and then stream it from Spotify ;)

If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copy of the track and try redownloading a fresh one. See the following document for instructions:

There is about 6.9 GBs of free space on an 8 GB Touch for data storage. That translates to roughly 23 of your average albums.
Holds up to 1760 songs is based on the size of an average track which is about 3 to 4 MBs, whereas your albums have tracks averaging more like 25 MBs per track. I sort of doubt your average album holds what would be about 5 hours.

How to Replace Missing Links in CS5 InDesign

Hi Richl,
In the Links panel, highlight the images you want to relink (shift + click to select a range), and click on the leftmost icon at the bottom of the panel (looks like two chain links). You'll be presented with a menu to locate your missing links. If the links in the panel show a yellow rectangle next to them, the link simply needs to be updated, and to do that you click the update icon at the bottom of the links panel.

Create or Replace DB link command.

Is there such a CREATE OR REPLACE DATABASE LINK command?
We have lots of Developement databases and our central TNSNAMES.ORA is constantly changing. This is because some database are decommissioned, or newly added, or migrated to other servers.
In this regard, I have a central monitoring database tool that creates dblink connecting to all the databases listed in the TNSNAMES.ORA.
So when there a new db added I will create new dblink. If there is decommissioned I will drop the dblink. If there is migrated I will create or replace db link.
How can I automate or manage this creation of database link but just by reading the TNSNAMES.ORA as input? Any bright ideas please.....

you can create dblink than drop it and create it again.. There is no such a option like replace
You can create scritp which can parse tnsnames.ora and create or drop or recreate dblink by pasring tnsnames.ora

Linking songs in itunes to be played one after another, even in shuffle

Hey guys I've been looking around for an answer to this question and still no luck. I dont think its possible but Ill ask anyway. Im trying to link songs togther so that they will always be played one after the other even during shuffle mode. For example, some songs are always meant to played one after the other, such as "We Will Rock You>We Are the Champions" by Queen, or "Golden Slumbers>Carry That Weight>The End" by The Beatles. Anyone know if this is possible somehow? I can make them play gaplessly but that only does anything if shuffle is off.

The answer is to *Join CD Tracks* before you import them into your library.
When you insert a CD into your disc drive and it shows up in iTunes (for importing) highlight the tracks (which need to be adjacent of course) and select *Advanced/Join CD Tracks.* You can join all three Beatles tracks. Once they are joined, then you can import them into the library. So you will have to import these tracks again (and remove the originals, if you wish).
Note that you cannot join them after importation.

Linking songs

I have song files in my library that are separated, but which in fact should be linked with other song files, such as Queen's We Will Rock You and We Are The Champions. Are there ways to link such tracks or append the file to another?

I'd like to be able to do this, too. I have a lot of live albums in which the artist's introductory remarks are a separate track from the song being introduced. It's pretty frustrating to hear the intro and not get the song. ;-0
I can imagine this working like this: select the tunes to be linked, then right click for a context menu and select a new "link songs" option.
From then on the two tracks are treated as one for the purposes of shuffle play.

Linking songs together

i was wondering if there was a way to link songs together so when playing music in shuffle mode i can set certain songs to play together before moving on to another random song. basically how can i make 2 or 3 songs play as if they were 1 song. for example, Pink Floyd's "Another Brick in the Wall Pt1" "The Happiest Days of our Lives" & "Another Brick in the Wall Pt2" is sort of a trilogy of songs that should be played in their respective order one after the other. However when playing in shuffle mode, it will randomly select songs and never plays them in order or one after the other. How can i make it so iTunes thinks the three songs are actually just one, and therefore always plays them together and in order. I have other songs that i'd like to do this with as well. Any help would be appreciated.

With iTunes you can only do this while ripping from a CD. (See the option in the "Advanced" menu.) For existing files you'd have to use some other application.

Entire albums category has been replaced by one song, Please Help.

Like the thread says, my entire albums category has been replaced by one song. The issue has been going on for a few days now and it's extremely irritating. I need some help.

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

- Unsync all music and resync
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

Replacing low bitrate songs on iPod touch 2

After purchasing iTunes Match, I deleted my 128 bitrate songs from iTunes and downloaded them from iCloud at 256. How do I replace the songs that are still at 128 on my iPod touch 2? If I connect the iPod to iTunes and sync it, will iTunes replace the 128 songs with the now 256 rate or will the iPod override the 256 songs and put them back to 128? Or, do I have to reset the iPod to erase all the songs then sync everything back?

I would simply delete all music from the iPod and then redownload via iTunes Match
You cant' sync with Match on:
Syncing music with iTunes will be disabled while iTunes Match is enabled on your iOS device.

Linking Songs in I-tunes

Is there a way to link songs in I-tunes so that one song will always play after the other regardless of shuffle settings? Or, is there an ability to simply combine two songs. My specific problem is that I have two songs (Parabol and Parabola by Tool), the first of which is an intro for the other. I would like to create a playlist with these songs and be able to listen on random, but always have these two songs play together.

OK, I figured out how to do it:
I haven't found a fancy GUI or anything for it. You'll have to use the command prompt!
1. Download FAAD2 and extract the exe to a folder.
2. Download mp4creator and extract the exe to the same folder as above.
3. Copy your original AAC files to the same folder
4. Open a command prompt and navigate to the folder.
5. Type this command to extract the raw AAC from "input1.m4a" :<pre>faad -a input1-raw.m4a input1.m4a</pre>
6. Repeat step 5 for the other track: <pre>faad -a input2-raw.m4a input2.m4a</pre>
7. Join the two files together with "copy":<pre>copy /b input1-raw.m4a input2-raw.m4a input-joined.m4a</pre>
8. Now make a file playable in iTunes:<pre>mp4creator60.exe -create=input-joined.m4a output-joined.m4a</pre>
Now you can import "output-joined.m4a" into iTunes. NOTE: the joined file will not have any tags; you will have to add them in iTunes or another tagging program.

Replace the link "Create Bookmark Link" for "Download"

When I execute a report from interactive columns in principal report ( published in the dashboard), I don't download for default, because this link not exist.
