Replacement or pay the difference for a MBP?

hi forum,
apple is finally willing to issue a replacement unit after mutliple repairs + damages after repairs + nothing was ratified after another 7-day repair...
for those who have gotten replacement units:
1.) was it a new MB or refurb?
2.) did you experience any problems (RSD, cosmetic issues, etc.)? i asked cos i have gone through a couple MBs due to cosmetic issuses.
i'm reluctent to get another MB. at the same time i'm not sure about paying a couple hundreds for a MBP that is bulkier and too powerful for me, not to mention i do like the magnetic latch and glossy screen.
your opinion will be appreciated.

if im not mistaken the MB has the magnetic latch and the glossy screen, regarding the screen with the MBP you have the option to get the Matte screen instead of glossy, but glossy comes standard on the MB

You'd probably find a better deal with another store trade-in program. I know Radio Shack in years past purchased used Apple products and in return customers received a gift-card; I think you'd get more bang for your buck... more than the messily 10% Apples offers.

The only thing Apple will do for you is an out of warranty exchange, & you will get EXACTLY what you have now. The cost will be US $199. Make an appointment at any Apple store.

First off, let me say, I really love my Galaxy Note 3 -- it is an awesome Smartphone... Unfortunately, I am one of the users of the problematic Note 3s... I got the phone and it worked great for about the first week I had it (I got it outside of the area where I live)... then I got it home... I usually have a good 4G signal at home -- inside and out.
My office is literally just on the other side of my college campus (less than a mile away)... I go from a good 4G signal to no signal in my office, with the exception of about a 1 foot square section on my desk where I can get 1x, and occasionally 4G. I worked with the support team on Twitter and was sent a new SIM card, and that seemed to help unfil a few weeks ago.
Every other Verizon 4G phoen I have seen at my office almost always has at least 2 bars of 4G... If not 4G, then it will have a perfect 3G signal. (To compare, I upgraded from the iPhone 4, which never had a problem getting a 3G signal anywhere)... I would expect the Note 3 would at least keep some kind of a signal in an area where everybody's 3G signal is nearly perfect.... At the local walmart, I can barely get a signal outside, and you can forget it inside... (Ironically, there's a verizon store at this shopping center as well... when I walk in the verizon store, my phone magically switches back to a decent 4G signal...)
Ideally, I'd take new Note 3 that doesn't have this problem, or I could upgrade to the Note 3 Developers Edition that also doesn't have this issue. I really love the Note 3 and would prefer to stay with the Note 3...
How can I work with you guys to make this happen?

I appreciate yawl following up with me -- this is the first time I have actually been able to get signed into my community account in a while.
I did managed to get some help out of the Twitter support team and they sent me another phone. My second phone (the one I just received a couple of weeks ago now) definitely worked better for a few days and then went bad again. I am beginning to wonder if the PRL needs to be updated... Unfortunately, I do not remember what the original PRL was when I first turned the phone on. But I know that it is on 15296 now.
I am back to having to leave my phone sitting in one particular spot in my office where it has any kind of signal. I go back to my original question -- since I have had so many problem with this phone, can I upgrade to the Note 3 Developers Edition and just pay the difference?

There are no refunds/exchanges. You can try contacting itunes support and asking for an exception: Click Support at the top of the page, then click the link under Contact Us.

If you have redeemed the voucher for something separate from the computer, then it's a non-issue. If you redeemed it as a price reduction for the computer, then they will return only what you paid less the coupon.

Apple offers an out of warranty or not covered under the warranty "repair" price, which pays for an exchange at a discounted price off the full retail sales price.

If so, follow the contact links and see what your options are for getting it repaired.
You will get your existing phone repaired (on occasion it would be replaced, but with the exact same model).
If you want a different iPhone, you will have to sell your current one and purchase a new one.

Payment for allowance is happening once in a year, but we need to pay the additional amount if employee is moved from grade E to F.
But the change can be back-dated also.
How do i handle this?
How do i find out if there was change in band and whether did i pay the difference amount?

Unfortunately there is little you can do, Lion will not run on your machine.
However it is possible to access some features of iClould while staying with SL. If you go to iCloud you will see the web interface for the cloud.
Some but not all functionality is here. Check it out and see if it meets your needs.

After that time you basically have to try selling the old one (after first making sure it is paid off and unlocked by your carrier so a new user can use it) and buy a new phone.
