Replacement rubber foot for HP Envy 6-s1126sa

Hi! i accidentally managed to melt one of the rubber feet on my laptop by leaving it on a hot surface, I have looked through the HP spares website but am unable to find anything regarding my PC let alone a rubber foot. Is there anywhere I can purchase a rubber foot or even a set of feet? Btw, my laptop is still under warranty although i doubt it would cover something such as this.
Thanks for any help.

Hi,
Have a look on ebay. You can find some there, just see the size and shape and then buy 4 of them if you don't think that the foot is the same as the original one.

Replacement rubber feet for MBP unibody. This might sort the issue with the wobble I have.

This is what I sent. I'll let you know what happens. Thanks for the input.
    Mr. Cook,
I've been a loyal customer for a decade. Recently three of the four plastic/rubber feet fell off of the bottom of my mid-2009 2.8 GHz MBP S/N W89XXXXXXYB. I called the Apple Store I use most often, Aspen Grove in Littleton, CO. I described the problem to a genius. They told me that they would have replacement feet waiting available at the Genius Bar within a week or so at no charge.
I went to the Aspen Grove Store on Wednesday, December 14, to pick up the feet. I met with a young lady named Kacy. She first told me that she would get the feet for me. She then told me that I had to bring my computer in and a genius would install the feet. Then she went in the back for a few minutes, came out and told me that the feet were not available. She said that I needed a whole new bottom piece, but that it would be covered. Kacy went in the back again, came and told me that the bottom wouldn't be covered after all, that my only option was to pay $186 for a new bottom piece.
About that time the business pro, Greg, came up. After hearing the problem he told Kacy that Apple could cover the bottom piece. They then conferred for a few moments, went back in to the back of the store and returned a few minutes later once again reneging on the offer to replace the bottom piece.
I had an appointment, so I voiced my displeasure with Greg and Kacy about being treated like a Yo-yo.
When I had time later in the evening, I called the Aspen Grove store and asked for the store manager. Instead I was directed to a manager on duty (I think), Hailey. I attempted to explained the situation to Hailey, but she continued to interrupt me, characterize Apple employees offers to take care of the problem and then renege on those offers as a "misunderstanding."  She was completely intractible and began to take on a tone of taunting me about the situation. Exasperated, I ended the call.
Hoping for a different experience, I went to the Briargate store in Colorado Springs on 12/26. Instead, I received a whole lot of "so what," shoulder shrugging and indifference from the employees there.
Sir, I understand that things wear out and break, but it cannot by Apple's position that the only way to replace three plastic feet that maybe cost 50 cents is by buying a $186 replacement part, can it?
The position and attitude of your employees in this matter is such a sea change from the exemplerary customer service I've previously seen that I'm struggling to understand what's changed at Apple. An ipad 3, iphone 5, new laptops for my wife and I and a desktop workstation are all on the wish list for my growing photography business in 2012, but I'm sure you can understand my new found reticence at purchasing more Apple products if this is the way I will be treated.
Thank you for your time and attention in this matter.

  • Replacement rubber feet for MU09 battery

A rubber foot on the MU09 battery that came with my computer is missing.  Can anyone point me to a replacement part, preferably with an HP part number?
Note that the rubber feet I am looking for are for the battery itself, not the computer.  The MU09 battery has two circular rubber feet about 0.9mm in diameter.

I'm always buying old laptops on ebay and fixing them up and they are always missing the rubber feet.  I went to a pool supply place and bought a set of rubber feet for outdoor steps. I cut them to size and glue them on with automotive trim adhesive.  That's probably overkill for you for one foot, but look around your house at tabletop appliances like small fans or lamps or something you might have sitting around that you don't need anymore and see if it has rubber feet on it. You could cut the rubber to size and glue it on the battery.
    Just an idea.

  • Replacement Rubber Foot $54?

I had the front left rubber foot fall off of my t500, and I count not find it to glue it back on, so I called in to see if a new foot would be covered under warranty.  (I have about a year left.)
They said that rubber feet that pop off are not covered under warranty, so I would need to purchase a new one.    They gave me the fru number of 43y9731 and asked me to call parts.  When I called parts, they said it would be $54.
Is this right?  Anyone else have any advice?  I can't see myself paying $54 for 1 rubber foot.
    Thanks!

To be fair, the foot is part of the "Base miscellaneous parts" kit, which a bunch of parts. The part number you quote is the whole set.. When you say "front", are you talking about the long foot toward the palmrest or the smaller foot by the hinges.  I believe that all the 15.4" T-series models since the T60 wide-screen use the same feet.  I move them all the time.  They come off easily with a small screwdriver or other sharp tool, and I attach them with superglue.  I have some.  Send me a pm.

Courcoul, greeting friend;  Might not those feet subject the MBP to high altitude sickness?
Ha ha! Then my MBP, sitting on top of a RoadTools CoolPad with a 3/4" rise in the rear in addition to that afforded by the Speck hard shell's integrated feet, will surely die of oxygen deprivation...

  • Replacement rubber pad for top of LCD

Hi anyone got any idea on if the rubber pads at the top of the LCD screen are coverred under the warrenty ? Or where I can get any from. The top two on my laptop seem to have come off and so I get to see the ugly screws underneath now.
    Thanks

If anyone else has this problem, it's likely that Lenovo will force you to mail in the entire laptop (which Lenovo says takes 5-7 business days plus shipping time).
When I called Lenovo, they set up a case with me and told me that they would send the part.  I never received the part though, so after 3-4 weeks, I call back and they tell me that the case is canceled.  They never even called me to notify me of this.  They claim that the part has to be replaced by a certified technician, which is surprising since Lenovo has sent me a palmrest in the past to replace on my own.

You can get them from any Apple Store or any Apple Authorized Reseller or Repair Centre.
I had to replace the bottom feet of my late 08 Macbook Uni and went to an Apple Store in my area and they just gave it to me.  Mind you, not all Apple Stores will give it to you for free.

  • Replacement rubber feet for underneath pismo?

Some of the little rubber black feet are missing off the bottom of my pismo and cause it to slide and move then typing, does anyone know where I might order replacements over the internet as i'm in the UK.
    Thanks

You may be able to find some replacements in a hardware store. That's what I did. They won't be the "official Apple" ones, but they will work and will be a LOT cheaper. The ones you buy should have a self-stick adhesive.

  • Re: Satellite C55-A-N10 - Rubber foot missing

I brought this laptop less than a month ago on 14th April 2014 and one of the rubber feet had fallen off.
I emailed Toshiba with the problem who advised me to contact Topaz.
Topaz said they could sell me a foot at 12.50 plus p&p.
The laptops not even a month old!!!!
So I phoned Toshiba and they told me "the foot is not covered by warranty".
    YOU'RE JOKING!!!!
THIS LAPTOP IS LESS THAN A MONTH OLD. A PART HAS FALLEN OFF AND TOSHIBA SAY THEY ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE!!!!!
CALL THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE? IT'S A DISGRACE.
Unless I get something as simple as a replacement rubber foot sent through the post I WILL NEVER BY ANOTHER TOSHIBA PRODUCT!

It is really stupid situation now. I use notebooks since almost 15 years and my oldest notebook was 8 years old. To be honest Ive never noticed such issue on my machines.
Anyway, there is no reason to believe you when you say that one of the rubber feet had fallen off. Problem is that it is hard to explain that this can happen for no reason because such parts are glued and pretty good fixed to the plastic cover so I can imagine that service thinks it is removed with some force.
I really dont know to say about that. Try please to contact some other Toshiba ASP and talk with them. Dont be arrogant and angry. Be nice, explain the situation and maybe there is some way to get it for free.
