Replacement Speaker Cables for Gigaworks S750

- Some of the cables for the satellite speakers in my system are not long enough for the room I'm trying to fit the speakers into. I've looked everywhere for cables that have the raw exposed wire on one end to connect to the back of the speaker and the single rca jack that goes into the subwoofer. Anyone have any ideas on this?

Where are you located? If you are in the USA, I can help you with trhe repair.

Thanks for the response- your comment "checking any receiver to make sure it has a multi-in jack that has an input etc" ? Do you mean output? I'm not aware of any home theatre receiver available with inputs for each speaker.
With the MediaCenter 2004 Edition software I do not have the option of changing settings for the sound card. I had originally planned on purchasing a receiver that passed audio through without any enhancements (AC3, Neo etc) instead relying on the card to handle conversions. With MCE it looks like I will have to use the external receiver to deal with changes. Is this going to work with the Audigy 2 ZS + MCE2004?

  • Ideal power supply protection for gigaworks s750 speaker system

anyone please help me decide on what to buy to protect my gigaworks s750 speakers from power surges or instability.
actually, i'm confused with what to buy, AVR or UPS and what capacity, 500, 000 or 500 watts/va.. Here in our place, the power supply is not consistent that for such reason I feel the need to secure my s750 speakers, especially that it's quite expensive.
Also, does anyone know how much power (if i'm right, it's expressed in watts) the s750 consumes, assuming it operates continuously in one hour? Thanks in advance.

  • Where can I get hold of a replacement mains cable for a Mac Book?

It looks like we have somehow misplaced the mains cable for my Dad's MacBook. The big question where could I get hold of a replacement one ? I have looked on Apple's website but unless I am either blind or daft I can't see one. The only thing I can think of of is to drive to my nearest Apple store (some 60 miles away) which I don't want to if I can help it. Any ideas?
for what it is worth I live in Bradford West Yorkshire England

Problem now solved. It was found in a completely stupid place.

  • Replacement IDE cables for X-Fi Plati

    Hello,
This sounds a little silly but while building a new computer I was removing the IDE cable from the I/O box from the PCI card and accidentally torn the ribbon off from the end connectors. Now I'm not sure if this is due to a faulty manufacturing on the ribbon (this never happens to me with regular IDE cables for hard dri'ves) or what, but I can't seem to find a replacement IDE cables anywhere.
I've tried my local best buy, fry's, PC Club, compusa, but none of them have the IDE cables that would fit with the one that came with the Creative X-Fi Platinum.
Does anyone know any online or retail stores that might sell these IDE ribbon cables? Are there any rounded cable versions of these? (for better airflow)
Any help would be much appreciated.
    Thanks

That is not a IDE cable, it's specialized for the X-fi. You'll need to contact Customer Support for a replacement.

  • Replacement power cable for ATI Radeon 5770?

I'm shopping around for a replacement graphics card for my Mac Pro and I've found several Radeon 5770s that don't have the PCIe power cable included.
Does anyone know what sort of cable they use and if replacements can be purchased?

yes it can be purchased but first, you are shopping for an Apple version, right?

OWC shows the cable, they also sell separately (maybe why they charge more?)
Amazon had customer photos but not showing one.
I was under the impression that Apple would/was including the cable.

  • Need to replace broken cable for recharger

I have a recharger and the cable got broken. The cable was 6 or 8 feet and it worked well.
Went to the local Verizon store and they said they didn't have a replacement cable and had to sell me an entire unit. When I got home I found out the new charger had a really short cable. It is way short.
Went down to Best Buy and they don't have long cables for android.
This website seems to be designed so the customer doesn't bother Verizon.
The sales people at Verizon are really keen to get me on a new contract. I am not getting an new phone and contract.
    I don't like poor service.

Have a Look here at these 2 Link as they might narrow down a Cord for ya.. The 1 Link is to Droid Life and there online Store the other no.2 suggestion you could Try is Android Central and there Store.. Hope this helps b33

  • Replacement power adapter for Gigaworks T20 speakers

I need a replacement power supply for my Gigaworks T20 speakers. Where do you get this? The Creative Web site seems to have no information about where to get it, so any information would be appreciated.

Try to find out universal AC/DC adapter at amazon/newegg, such as this one (U.K. version): http://www.amazon.co.uk/Universal-Regulated-2000mA-Adapter-P-007F/dp/B002YY9E/ref=sr__/275-2088-483635?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=262244783&sr=8- It has many plugs, one probably must fit. But before switching the power, one should figure out the polarity of connectors. It's not the first time Creative power supplies show below average reliability. I think Creative should choose top quality power adapter suppliers, such as Antec, Delta or Seasonic, not some cheaper lower quality parts.

  • Is there any way to get a replacement Ribbon Cable for the Live!Dr

I had a second Li've! and Li've!Dri've hanging around the house, and gave the spare units to a friend of mine. Unfortunately I have been unable to come across the Ribbon cable. We already tried a standard IDE cable, and while it does fit, it didn't work. Does anyone know of somewhere I can get just a replacement cable? I looked on Ebay and found a card with the dri've and the cable for 0$+ shipping, but I don't need the card or the dri've, so I thought i'd try to see what I could find.
    thanks

    very easy yes,

  • Which size gauge for gigaworks S750?

hello everyone, my 2 rear speakers need extending and i was wondering if anyone could help me out with what is the best wire gauge to go for, from what i can find i believe 2-6awg is best. i would go for the 2 but there is a massive price dif between the 2 and 6, so would the 6awg be good enough or is it worth spending the extra on the 2awg and also is there anything else that i need to look for in the wire when choosing?
also as the original speaker wire has a jack in one end for connection to the amp (woofer unit) what would be the best way to connect the new wire?
any help and advice on this would be greatly appreciated

ok, got a response from creative support, as im in the process of having my sub replaced due to a similar fault that is discussed many time on here.. lol i asked them this question....
they said the wire gauge i specified(6awg) is fine for use with my speakers, and the way i was joining them, (butt connector and heatshrink tubing) is also fine.. but they could not tell me how to identify the +/- on the wires, it is not marked at all, they did not know.. does anyone know what is the best way to find out which wire is which (+/-)?

  • Replacement Power Cables for Deskjet 3050A Printer

I have recently dug up my old printer, a HP Deskjet 3050A. However, I could not find any of the cables required to use it.
I am looking to get a set of replacement cables, however I haven't been able to use the HP website as I couldn't find my item serial number. I have been unable to get in touch with HP because of this.
Any advice on where to go/who to contact would be much appreciated.

HP does not list the power adapter (or any other parts for the Deskjet 3050a) on their Partsurfer Site, but I have had good results in the past buying printer power adapters from eBay.  The results here may help.

  • Looking for replacement DIN cable for FPS2000

So my FPS 2000 has served me well, and is in good working order. However, the long extention DIN male - male cable that came with the unit was damaged in a recent move. This is the long cable used to connect the FPS2000 to the small DIN to Digital cable that plugs into the SBLive! card in my PC.
Anyone know how I can buy a replacement? Or have the specs on the cable so I can build one?

I'm also looking for that cable, mine got lost when i moved.
If you still have the damaged cable you could get the pinout using a tester or something, so that a new one can be built

  • I need a replacement USB cable for Zen Stone P

I lost the USB cable today so I can't charge or transfer music.
Is there anywhere I can get a replacement cable
Amazon has a generic cable but I'm sure it would be best to get a Creative one
However I can't find one for sale!
    Thanks!
    Joe

Those USB cables are available in many department and office supply stores. There's no real reason to order one online unless you enjoy paying shipping charges. It's pretty much a standard item these days.

  • Left speaker output failed, gigaworks s750

I have seen this problem on the forum before, here is one instance: http://forums.creative.com/creativel....id=70289#M493
    I havent seen any solutions.
    Setup:
Asus n78x-e deluxe motherboard with 5.1 capability
Usually i have it plugged: rear-> line in, front ->normal center/sub-> microphone
These speakers have worked fine for at least 6 months now, perfectly. Great sound output on ALL of the speakers. Today, was listening to some music, when my rear left speakers just stopped producing sound. So currently, my left rear, and left side speakers are not working. The speakers themselves actually work fine, as I have tested them with the center output, and the right outputs. None of the other speakers seem to work when plugged into left rear or left side. There is some sound, but it's significantly muted.
    Help please!
    Thanks,
    Aric
PS: This also happened in my old speakers megaworks50, and i think it has something to do with a connection in the sub. I really don't want to have to deal with that. I'm hoping there's an easier solution thatn trying to RMA this. Perhaps i could open up the sub and just fix the connection? Whatsup with creative and having rear left speaker issues? I've read like 6 other posts now about the same type of problem.
Message Edited by aricjonho on 11-30-2005 07:02 PM

Temporary fix... turn the rear left audio channel down to nothing and you have a 6.1 system that wont crackle as much, but the sub will still distort anything without channel selecti've output (like single channel mp3).
Same here tho, quite a few people have posted about it, creative denies its a problem but i am seeing it more and more online reports and even my own customers (i tune high performance pc's) are having problems.
the left rear channel just "gives up" after a certain amount of use it seems. i have since cracked mine open and i cant see anything visually wrong (other than the anti-tamper warrenty seals are pointless to anyone with knowledge of moddelling paint and varnishes), just a odd smell that might be bad wiring or good cheese.
creative have so far told me (depending on what call centre i phone us/uk/eu) that its either my drivers, a failing Audigy2 ZS or abuse of the sub (ie max bass and vol(whats the point of leting people choose a setting that will blow up the product?)) basically anything that doesnt require them giving me an RMA.
I suggest everyone with the problem goes to a real shop, buys a set, swaps the speakers out of the box with the broken ones and takes them back again for a refund. then flog the good speakers on ebay and go buy an amp and a bunch of car speakers from halfords, knock them together with some duct tape and viola, a higher quality product.
(ps, i have a bad habbit(i love paranthesis))
