Just bought a replacement usb lead for my iPhone 5. Charges my phone fine when its plugged in at the wall plug. When i plugged it into my Macbook Pro and nothing happens.
Any ideas out there?

Then take it back ,with the iPhone ,new genuine Apple cables have 12 month warranty

My dad bought a new USB charger for his iPhone 3GS after connecting it it kept restarting I got it to recovery mode but wen restoring I get a msg error (01)

So my dad bought a new USB cable for his iPhone 3GS wen he connected the iPhone to charge he said it turned off n turned on after but then it kept on restarting every 1min.. But it goes to main screen then it restarts over n over I manage to get it into recovery mode n I connected to itune were it asks me to upgrade n restore wen I click ok it starts normal to download n get up to restoring iPhone wen it's about to finish a msg pops up on iTunes saying "iTunes could not restored because an error was detected on iPhone (error 01) .
I tried a whole bunch of times trying to restore but I won't get through at all
Any other ideas would be glad to know I also tried getting out of dfu mode but it just won't .

Is your software up to date? You also should be able to leave DFU mode easier then you get in it. DFU mode means nothing is on your iPhone's screen when restoring.

Where can I get a replacement USB port for the Xperia Tablet Z1

Where would I get a replacement USB port component for my Tablet Z - I am OK replacing it myself as I've already stripped the unit down and replaced a broken screen. I looked at the existing part and it doesn't look repairable - looks like the connector "tongue" has come away from the circuit board.
Google hasn't thrown up any good leads. Do Sony sell these parts?

Why did I have to pay for a new USB cable for my iphone when I didn't break it and it was only 6 months old?

The Apple store charged me for replacing the USB cable. It would work but if I move the cord it would connect, but then disconnect again. I got with my iPhone 5 6 months ago. It has a warranty and I had the Apple Plus Care that I paid extra for. It was in no way my fault that it broke.

If the Apple store refused replacement under warranty they clearly found
evidence of damage which would void the warranty

I'm confused... is your shuffle a white plastic thing that looks like a pack of gum, or an aluminum one with a clip.

If it's that new, Apple will replace it under warranty...however if it's a 1st Gen shuffle that's just that new to you, then it may be that the switch on the back is full of crud. Those USB cables are available in many department and office supply stores. There's no real reason to order one online unless you enjoy paying shipping charges. It's pretty much a standard item these days.

Every time I try to install the usb driver for my iPhone 4s to my computer, it says "windows found driver software for your device but encountered an error while attempting to install". anyone know how to fix this???

I have tried countless things throughout the forum, but none of them worked. Anyone know a real solve for this?

Never mind, I found the answer.

Some will be phone sized, some may not be. Any apps in the app store with a + by their name are universal apps...meaning they scale up or down to fit the device.
I too went from a touch to an iPad and the apps transferred over quite easily.
