Replenishment truck by 3rd Party

Question

Hello Gurus,
I have in hands the definition of a flow to do the replenishment of materials either from a Subcontractor (defined as a Plant) or a real Subcontractor (Vendor). This should be working according to some min/max quantities and also critical point. The stock is responsibility of the Vendor but the space in the warehouse
Supplier u2013SUP (External or Plant B)  Logistics Operator u2013 LOG (Plant A; Stor. location a)  Production u2013 PRD (Plant A; Stor. location b)
The Logistics operator has the space that corresponds to 2 trucks. The trucks should work as a Kanban. Each truck has different materials and the truck could be provided by a different supplier. The LO do not want to take responsibility to make the planning. The planning is triggered by PRD. Every time that the last boxes are being picked, the SUP is informed about their requirements in order to manage the truck accordingly. The SUP must have the information of his actual stock.
Has someone had experienced a similar case like this? This is almost a 3rd Party process.
I do not know standard functionalities that could work u201Clikeu201D Kanbans with mixed materials. Can someone have any Idea? Do you know any enhancement that we could use in order to Control this? Do you think that VMI could solve this to be used only in R3? One thing is for sure, the SUP should have access to his stock in LO by Web-portal, right?

If you want to perform third party conversion means you have to go for sub-contracting process only.
If you want to control all production process means please try the following way:
We need to implement Enterprise portal also. Using this write the functional specification to design the production process screen.
so once vendor can login through portal, it will display the production process screen. The screen should contains the following columns:
Prod. order number, Order quantity, Delivered quantity, RM issued quantity, Dispatched qty. etc. Above that make a button called GOODS ISSUE and CONFIRMATION. So the user has to select the order and issue the quantities and confirmation. The production order which created and released orders only will shows in portal screen. Once you do the TECO for the order in client location it will disappear in the portal screen. For making this you need to discuss with your Enterprise portal consultant.
For getting conversion cost to be paid to vendor, create one non-stock item in the BOM. For example your finished goods is FG100, so create NFG100 material (material type NLAG). The BOM contains for your FG100 is RM1, RM2 etc and NFG100 but the quantity to be mentioned as same your based quantity of bom. so that whenever you create production order for example 50000 means system will create automatically create Purchase requisition for Non-stock item NFG100 also 50000. then you convert PR to PO and do the GR for non-stock item. For this you need discuss with your CO consultant.
