Replicate ISU Customer contacts to CRM Activities
Hi All,
Requirement: Need to replicate ISU Customer contacts (Txn BCT0) to CRM Activities (Txn CRMD_ORDER).
Ideally, we want to map ISU <class> and <action> into CRM <category> and <sub-category> custom fields on the activity.
Please share any reference documents if any project has done a similar thing.

If you connect an ISU system that is not Unicode-enabled with a CRM system that is Unicode-enabled, data is not converted correctly when replicated into the CRM system.
Contracts are not replicated in the ISU system if the CRM or ISU system is a UNICODE system.

SAP ISU BP Contact - CRM Activity - CRM IC Interaction record
Hi All -
I have a cookbook which talks about migrating SAP ISU BP Contacts into CRM Activity.
Now, my question is if I do this, will this show up as a interaction record against the customer in the IC WebClient in CRM?
We are considering a design where billing supervisors will enter a BP Contact in ISU when customers directly call them about a bill. Later, if this customer calls the Cust Service Rep, we want this interaction to be visible to the CSR who will only use the CRM Webclient.
So, I guess indirectly my question is,
"Is a CRM Activity the same as an CRM WebClient Interaction record"?
or
"Is a CRM WebClient Interaction record a type of CRM Activity"?

the CRM IC Interaction Record is technically a CRM Activity with a certain transaction type. You can configure the replication of IS-U Contacts that the created activity is shown in the Interaction Center as Interaction Record. So you will be able to see the IS-U Contacts created in ERP - for example within a Front Office Process - in CRM as replicated Interaction Records.

Replicate customer contact from R/3 to CRM
All,
here is the scenario
I have downloaded customers from R/3 to CRM. Now I'm trying to download the contacts in customer account to CRM. When I go to relationships in CRM, I should be able to view the same contacts in R/3 for this customer
Settings
In CRM customizing data transfer setting for partner processing, I have AP already selected.
In R/3 there is no partner function assigned/ created for this customer but have a contact.
I tried to replicate this with Customer_Rel object KUNA1 table -- but didn't work
I tried to with the same object with table KVNK only for one single customer. It has been processing for ever...
I want to create the contact with the same number as BP instead of having different number for contact person.
Can someone please help me !!!

Replication of Custom Fields from CRM to ISU and Vice versa
Hi Experts,
We are working on adding Z fields on BP level. For this how does the replication of the values takes place from CRM to ISU or vice versa. What are the middleware enhancement we need to do in CRM side or in the ISU side. We would add the fields on web UI crm side by AET but at ISU side how we need to do that and how would the field values replicate in both the system.
A approach for adding BP custom fields in CRM and its interaction with ISU and vice versa would be appriciated.

I have created a custom field on BP using the AET would now like to replicate this custom field in BP also in ISU.
I can do all this using the EEWB, but I would avoid it, since, in ISU we already have custom fields on BP, I just can not link them with CRM. -
Sales area data is missing when Customer contact replicated to CRM

I am facing some problem with the Customer Contact replication from isu to crm, problem is when i create a customer contact by using bct0 interaction record is replicated to the crm, when i open the interaction record in the webic i am getting the error maintain the sales area data ,i am manually maintaing the sales are data in the crm could you please tell me why sales area data is missing while replication could you tell me how to rectify this error.I am using the standard transaction type 0010.

Generally: You have to enhance the BAPIMTCS structure which is exchanged between CRM and R/3, and the functionality mapping the BDoc to this structure in CRM and in R/3 the functionality of saving the BAPIMTCS structure to the DB.
You should use the Transaction Business Events, see also tables TBE24, TPS34 and you can search for the SMOUTIL2 or SMOUTIL3 functionality esp in the CRM system.
Have a look at note 417906 with some information on used functions.

In CRM 6.0 and 7.0 GUI is no more used, you can use WEB UI and login using SALESPRO role to create a contact.
1. Logon to CRM web UI
2. Choose Create Contact from the Navigation bar
3. Enter all the data - Title, first name, last name, account id,
street, stree2, street3, street4, street5, city, postal code, email,
mobile no and website.
4. Press the Save key.

For replication from CRM to ECC we need to go thru site setting in SMOEAC. This is what you need to do:
1. Using tcode SMOEAC create a site for OLTP.
2. Assign the subscription 'All Business Partner (MSG)' to this site.

If this is a Characterstic defined - definitely this will be getting populated from Billing document in SD Module. Secondly, there could be a derivation rule defined as per your configuration. Derivation rules can be checked in Transaction code - KEDR.

Welcome to Numbers discussions.
When spreadsheets first appeared, I'm going back to the original Lotus 123, they were used by many folks and organizations as flat file databases so the short answer is yes you could do it.
After reading your request a better answer would be to look at a relational database such as File Maker Pro and their new Beneto perhaps. Of course it depends on your needs, type of data recorded etc. Based on your reporting desires personally I'd lean towards database not a spreadsheet.
Do evaluate your needs, what you want out of your data now and down the road. I wouldn't want to start with a spreadsheet then realize months, years later it should have been in a database—been there done that got that tee shirt and scars. I've worked with many that this happened to. UGH!
I'm sure others will jump in here with other more helpful suggestions.

Appointments in Outlook not showing up in CRM activities?
The appointments I make in Outlook aren´t showing up in my CRM activities (the appointments I make in CRM do show up in Outlook calendar - so it´s only syncing one way)?
Assuming that you are connected to CRM using outlook client:
Open the appointment from calender in your outlook. click on Track/Track in CRM depending on the CRM version you are using. This will create an Appointment activity in CRM. but will not link the appointment to a particular CRM record.
To link this appointment to a particular CRM record (e.g. contact, account, case..etc..) click on Set Regarding and select more. Search for the record in look up dialog box, select and add.

Customer Invoice in CRM to Vendor invoice in ECC.
HI ,
I have question we have in our business scenario, customer performs service activity say repairing a Lap top, customer uses his own service person (labor) to perform that repair work for that Lap top and raises invoice on company .
Here customer acts as Business partner to company in CRM .(Sold to Party)
Here my question is how this customer invoice replicates in ECC as Vendor invoice.
Is it possible to replicate Customer invoice in CRM to vendor invoice in ECC ?
We need this as vendor invoice in ECC , so that finance person can pay him as Account payable in ECC.
Is there any customization required for this to post as vendor invoice in ECC.

this funbctionality is standard behaviour of ERP.
You can only see the relevant upper nodes in the sales order.
To see more, you've to start another transaction VDH2N; here you see the whole hierarchy.

BP Custom Field replication - CRM to ECC
Hello Developers,
I have added custom fields to the CRM BUT000 (Business Partner) table, using AET. Now, I need to replicate these custom fiields to ECC. We have configured, and are successfully replicating the standard BP fields from CRM to ECC. However, the new AET custom fields are not replicating.
Can you please help me by identifying BADIs, Enhancements, or User Exits where I can insert the required code in order to accomplish this custom field replication, on both the CRM and ECC sides of this replication? Is there a document that describes what is required?
We are running ECC 6.0, and CRM 7.0.

Thanks for your help. I have resolved this, and the information that you provided was helpfutul.
I had to create a function module in ECC, modeled after the SAP provided sample FM SAMPLE_INTERFACE_DE_BALE. In addition to this, I had to configure entries in the standard SAP tables TBE24 and TBE34 (event DE_BALE), so that my new function module would be called.
