Replication : missing entry not replicated
Hello,
If I modify the value of an attribut, the change is applied on the other LDAP server so the replication is working fine.
For a reason that I do not known an entry is missing on one of my LDAP server.
How can I recreate this missing entry ?
The replication seems to not work is this case.
Or have I to do a initialisation from the LDAP where the entry is present ?
Re-initialization (online or offline) will make sure that all entries are identical on both servers and will be kept in sync in the future.
Is the entry really missing or is it just that you do not see it when performing a search ?
One way to check is to export the data (with replication meta-data, and from the server which appears to have the entry missing) to LDIF. And look into the LDIF file if the entry is present or not, if it is a normal entry or a deleted entry.
If the entry is present and normal, it could be an index issue and rebuilding the index should be enough.
If the entry is present but as a deleted entry, this would require more investigation.
If the entry is not present at all, then reinitialization is the only proper way to solve this issue.

AD Replication issues, SYSVOL / NETLOGON not replicating

We have a client that recently called us for some assistance. The IT department had a new virtual environment stood up. They Created 3 new VMs and promoted them all to domain controllers. The current domain and forest functional levels are (and were) Server
2003. There were two existing domain controllers, both Server 2003. The new domain controllers are Server 2012 R2. After promoting the 3 new servers to DC’s, they demoted one of the old DC’s. Then they transferred FSMO roles to a new 2012 R2 DC. When they
went to demote the last server 2003 DC, it was giving them the error that it is the last DC in the domain. That’s when we were called to assist. I have since demoted 2 of the 3 new 2012 R2 DCs and transferred all FSMO roles back to the Server 2003 DC.

From here I can see SYSVOL and NETLOGON are not replicating from server2003server. When I log on to server2003server and run ‘net share’ the SYSVOL and NETLOGON shares are shared. But, when I do the same on 2012R2DC there are no NETLOGON or SYSVOL shares.
I see ntfrs issues. So I ran ntfrsutl ds on server2003server and the results are here:

Also worth noting that when we power down SERVER2003SERVER no computer can contact a logon server.
The last line of this worries me as well. I am going to continue to work on this but I wanted to get these logs to some other eyes in case you have some ideas off the bat. It is possible to do a non-authoritative restore of SYSVOL to make it appear on the other DCs: https://support.microsoft.com/kb/290762?wa=wsignin1.0
However, you would need to upgrade to DFSR.

Does anyone know what is this mean and how to fix this?
I checked the records and they are not being replicated, and the connection to the subscriber are not active for some reason; but I don't know how to fix it.

Philly Database developerIt basically means that the replication agent has not logged a status message back to the replication subsystem.
Basically you can't stop it, and these messages let you know if the agent has hung.
However you can delay the time before the subsystem will report this message. Do this by the following query - this will delay this message to 10 minutes from the default of 5 minutes. I have set this to days when replicating over ISDN/Phone lines.

User Password Not Replicated during ACS Replication
I am provisioning user accounts in ACS through a provisioning system. The provisioned ACS is set to replicate user and group database to another ACS. Replication interval time is set to 15 mins.
Problem is that even though the replication cycle runs every 15 mins, if no user is added or deleted, the pre-checks determine that outbound replication is not required and cycle is completed. Hence, if user's password change, they are not replicated to other ACS and in case the authentication request goes to the other ACS then it fails. Manual replication is fine.
How to make sure replication is run even in case of user password change and not just when a user is added or removed.Hi,
What is the acs ver ? Are the user accounts you are referring to stored? i.e. are the local to the ACS server itself, or are they defined in an external user database (e.g. Active Directory, LDAP, etc.)?
Users defined via Active Directory are dynamically mapped to a user account in ACS and this account information is typically not replicated since the users created are dynamic and can change properties based on
configuration/changes in Active Directory itself.

Transactional Replication - Not replicating
Hello,
I've recently set up transactional replication from one database in Server 1 to another database in server 2.
I've checked the Replication Monitor and they stay green with Latency 0.02 sec and not showing any issues.
However when I inserted a row on the database on Server 1 and waiting 1 minute it's not replicating on Server 2 database.
Could anyone advise what and where to check for issues?

MohanWhat is the latency now? Does it show higher latency?
Could you confirm if the table in which you inserted the row is part of replication?
Could you also try inserting a "tracer token" and see if it replicates and how much time it takes?

Suddnly stop merge replication. transaction cannot replicated from publiser to sunscriber.
I tried to set heartbeat_interval= 5 but still not working..
The replication agent has not logged a progress message in 5 minutes. This might indicate an unresponsive agent or high system activity. Verify that records are being replicated to the destination and that connections to the Subscriber, Publisher, and Distributor
are still active.
What is the problem with merge replication and why this erroe comes..
any solution of this error or reconfigure merge replication?
please give me a solutionRun profiler on the subscriber to see what the merge agent is doing there. It is possible that there is some blocking that is causing the agent to hang. You might want to set the heartbeat to 10 or higher. The default is IIRC 5.

Transactional Replication Not replicating non-clustered Indexes
Hi
I have created a transactional replication.I am sure that I have configured it to replicate Non-Clustered indexes,
but It does not do so.
I tried several times to reinitialize the subscription,but still no luck.
RegardsIt is True for sure.
But the problem is solved.I had to wait until the Initialize process get completed.
But I am sure that this problem happened before.Sometimes it works fine but sometimes not.

According to your description, it seems that you encounter the issue that non-clustered indexes property is reset to “False” sometimes.
To work around this issue, you can use a post-replication SQL script to create the indexes. Whatever articles you’re publishing open up the indexes drop down list of the article in object explorer, right-click on an index and levitate over Script Index as,
then Create-to, then click New Query Window editor.
Up will pop up a new query window with the resulting index. Work your way through all the indexes on all the articles of the publication, copy and pasting just the create index line and below of each script, pull them all together into one query window.
Once you’re done find a safe folder somewhere on your hard drive and save the SQL query as an .sql file with a sensible name. Then you can execute this script after applying the Snapshot. For more details, please review this

SUS user data not replicated to SRM
In service SRMSUS in the SUS system, we have user w/ role SAP_EC_SUS_ADMIN_VENDOR.
When this user modifies his own user data such as name/email/time zone, the change in user data is NOT replicated to the SRM system. The SRM user data still contains the original user information.
I believe user data update is done via a RFC call, and not XI. I've checked for security auth object and there are no authorization issues.
Are there any additional configs we're missing?
We're on SRM 4.0 / SAPKIBKS10 / SAPKB64019

you need to maintain the system details where the changed data needs to be replicated at the following customizing in SUS
1) Transaction SPRO --->
2) Path ---> Supplier Relationship Management ---> Supplier Self Services --->
Master Data --->Maintain Systems For Synchronization of User Data
( check help available with the customizing for more details ).
3) Maintain New Entry for the external systems ---> this should be your SRM system and then use the following data .
F. Mod.: Create User BAPI_USER_CREATE
F. Mod.: Change User BAPI_USER_CHANGE
F. Mod.: Delete User BAPI_USER_DELETE
4) save data
5) once you hav done this , when you make changes , data will be synchrozed with SRM -
Active Directory Not Replicating

I have a Windows 2012 server but it has a demo license, this is also my DC. I am trying to create another DC and let it replicate so I can license the new properly and stuff. I have the DNS of each server pointing to each other as the primary and themselves
as the alternative. When I check my SYSVOL folder and go to domains, its empty, as I shutdown my original DC the other one the entries disappear and I get errors. When I go to the event log on my new DC I get errors with event IDs 1202 and 2213. Any assistance
with this issue i'm having will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

For environments that have two domain controllers
Determine whether a dirty shutdown was detected (event ID 2213) on either domain controller. You may find the second domain controller
is waiting to complete initialization of SYSVOL, This is because after promotion, it will have logged a 4614 event that indicates that DFS Replication is waiting to perform initial replication, and it will not have logged a 4604 event signaling that
DFS Replication has initialized SYSVOL.
If content freshness is enabled on both domain controllers
If the second domain controller is waiting to perform initial synchronization (event 4614 logged without the 4604 anti-event), follow
the section of article 2218556 to
set the first domain controller as authoritative. You do not have to configure the second domain controller as nonauthoritative, because it is already waiting to perform initial synchronization.
Or, if the second domain controller is healthy and SYSVOL is shared, perform the following steps:
Back up all SYSVOL contents of the first domain controller.
Evaluate if the second domain controller's SYSVOL data is up to date. If it is not, you may want to copy updated SYSVOL files to the second domain controller from the first domain controller. Otherwise, any existing data
present on first domain controller not present on the second will go into the 'PreExisting' and 'Conflict and Deleted' folders.
Set the first domain controller as nonauthoritative by disabling the membership per 2218556.
Confirm that an event ID 4114 is logged to indicate the membership is disabled.
Enable the first domain controller's membership, and wait for the 4614 and 4604 events that report completion of the initial synchronization. If it is necessary, restore any updated files from "PreExisting" to the
original location.
If content freshness is not enabled or triggered on both domain controllers
If the first domain controller is in the event ID 2213 state and the second domain controller has never completed initialization
after it was promoted and content freshness has not been triggered, perform the following steps:
Run the ResumeReplication WMI method on the first domain controller as instructed in the 2213 event.
After replication resumes, it will log an event ID 4602 that indicates that DFS Replication initialized the SYSVOL replicated folder and designated it as the primary member.
Run the dfsrdiag pollad command on the second domain controller to trigger it to complete initial sync (event ID 4614). As soon as initial sync is finished, event ID 4604 is logged, signaling SYSVOL
has completed initialization.
Or, if the first domain controller is in the 2213 state and the second domain controller is healthy (SYSVOL is shared), run theResumeReplication WMI
method on the first domain controller. It will log event ID 2214 at the completion of dirty shutdown recovery.

Business partner(employee) is not replicated from ECC to CRM
The Business partner Not replicated in CRM.Two Sales organization have been maintained for the employee for the different time lines in ECC.Checked the BDOCs and the validation error occur in FM CRM_BUPA_MAIN_VAL .The BDOCs message was saying the BPGUID was missing .Could anyone please suggest what could be the root cause of the data not replicated from ECC to CRM.

This is the case where at the time of creation of BP there was some issue with replication.
The BP itself is not there in CRM or only the changes are not reflected?
In such scenarios, perform following steps for successful replication:
1. Go to TCode: CRMM_BUPA_MAP
2. Enter the BP no. {initially it says it does not exist}
3. Enter ERP customer no. and press enter, the BP GUID gets filled
4. Click on "Gather Information about customer" [you can see the status of the object]
5. Now again enter the BP no. -> The customer is available in CRM now.

In Material replication alternative Unit not replcated to SRM
Hi Experts,
We have a issue in SRM 7.0. We have replicated some products from ERP to SRM, for some material Alternative unit is replicated and we can use that UOM for creation contracts and SC. But for some materials this alternative unit is not replicated. When we made changes to these materials, replication failed in Bdocs with Below Error.
1.Order unit T is not assigned to this product(For some materials already this Unit got replicated)
2. Validation error occurred: Module COM_PRODUCT_MAT_VALIDATE, BDoc type PRODUCT_MAT.
Please help me to find out the issue.

This is because the Log system entry in your ECC system has been changed after the first time it was setup.
Kindly refer note 765018 to resolve your error.

Datasource not replicated in Production Environment
Hi all,
I activate a datasource 2lis_04_p_comp in SAP R/3 development environment and replicate it in BW development environment. All works are OK.
Then I transport this datasource in R/3 production environment a first time, then a second time after several modifications on my datasource. All transports and activation (first and second wave of transport on this datasource) are OK between development and production environment (on R/3).
2LIS_04_P_COMP is same (on R/3) between development and production environment.
But when I want replicate 2LIS_04_P_COMP in BW production environment, several fields are not replicated. Only fields wich are transported in first wave are replicated in BW production environment. Fields which are added (after datasource modifications) and transported in second wave of datasource transports, are not replicated (Datasource contains these fields on R/3 development and production environment). Whereas in development environment all fields are correctly replicated.
I think, my problem stems from replication in BW production environment.
How can I replicated all fields in my BW production environment ?

Can u check the transport log for 2nd time transport from R/3 Dev to R/3 Prod...
Did u see all the changes in R/3 prod for DS 2LIS_04_P_COMP ..

MYSQL 55 to Oracle 11gr1 replication(oneway) - can not replicate
I have setup golden gate replication between mysql 55 and oracle 11gr1. While trying to setup the initial load, I do'nt see any data push to oracle from mysql.
What could be wrong in my setup.? has anyone tried this kind of setup? i see the the report for replicat and it says data is not replicated. while extract shows that 4 rows from table are taken for insert.Hi Stev

I can see on report, extract has picked 4 rows for insert, but on replicat side no replication done. No error reported in gserr.log and there was a communication between source side of extract with traget side manager and sunsequently repliacat on target was started by manager and stopped normally. but no rows replicated.
Between oracle-to-oracle there is no problem. But my actual project is to setup from mysql to oracle (one way replication).

I get the same exception while reading a ZIP file. The size if the ZIP file is just 82KB but I am reading it over FTP not sure if it makes any difference. I am using JDK 1.4.2_05. Here is the code I am trying to execute.
