Replication of HR Org structure

We have a same ECC dev client as the backend for 2 SRM clients . We are replicating HR org structure from ECC into one of the SRM clients. Will it be possible afterwards to replicate the same org stru from the ECC client to the other SRM client?
Datta

Yes. As long as you maintain separate distribution model for each client, you can distribute the same content to 'N' receiving systems.

  • Questions regarding HR Org Structure replication from ECC to SRM

    Hi Experts ,
    We have SRM7.0 ( SP08) with ECC6 ( Ehp4) having Classic Scenario .
I managed to replicate entire  HR Org Structure  from ECC system to SRM system.  I replicated O (Organization), S( Postion) and P ( Person), which successfully created O, S and CP in SRM with BP for O and US...Refered Note 934372, 312090, 550055 and help link on SDN./wiki.....etc
Now I have below questions in mind.
    1. In SRM we requiers Org unit for Company Code, Purchase Organization and Purchase Group...which we set  in FUNCTION tab for the requiered Org Unit with Checkbox and value of it and Logical system.....but in HR Org strcuture we do not have such Org Unit....so how to manage/create such these Org Units ( i.e.Company Code, Purchase Organization and Purchase Group ) ?...
Do I need to create these Org unit manually in SRM in PPOSA_BBP ? If yes, can I create these Org Unit above or between these replicated HR Org Units  or I need to created it separtly in paralllel to these HR replicated Org Units?
    2. If above I do, then what will impact on the delta /change replication from HR integraion ?
    3. In ECC HR org Structure there are hundres of employee, out of that I just wanted to send the Postion ( we have postion based security  in HR) whom only SRM Role had assigned . How it can be acheived ?
    Will appricaite detail reply/suggestions
    Thanks
    NAP

    Hi ,
Initially when I repliacted P of HR Org Struture it sucessfully craeted BP in SRM  and was CP in Org Structure.
But suddenly , what happned don;t know, when I replicating Employees (P) in SRM , it is assigning  to respective Postion (S), but BP is not creating in SRM  and in the USERS_GEN  for this User, its postion and ORg Unit to whom it assigned is giving  below error
Determination of connections to object 'BP' of 'CP' '00000015' failed
    Message no. BBP_UM_UI036
I checked all this as per Note 550055, 934372..etc....checked respetcive setting in table T77S0...I checked address alos....but no any clue......IDoC in SRM posting sucessfully....
Can anyone please suggest what should be the cause and solution of it ?
    Thanks

  • Problems with HR org structure replication

    Hello,
    EBP 5.0, HR 4.7
we have a big issue where at the moment replication between HR and SRM is not working properly.
We made customizing according to 550055 note and found out that BAdI BBP_OM_BUPA_ALE (note 850328) is active. This prevents to have concurrent employment in SRM org structure.
We can replicate O (units) and S (positions) form HR without problem. But when we try to replicate P (persons) with infotype 0105 filled (users in SRM) afterwards we do not see positions for which users have to be created!!!
IDOCs have information that everything went OK.
    Please help!
    Gordan

Issue is resolved by SAP, some customizing entries are missed from ECC side

  • HR Replication - only part of org structure needed in SRM - excess IDOC's

    Dear peers,
we are running HR-ALE to replicate HR master data from a separate HR system (ECC 6) into the ERP system (ECC 6, with SRM as add-on).
Only a part of the organizational structure is needed in SRM, this O-unit is specified in PFAL for initial replication. Delta replication is setup through change pointers - as recommended by SAP.
Unfortunately change pointers are generated for the complete org structure, not just for the org part we are replicating into SRM. This results in a lot of IDOC's that go into error because of missing and irrelevant data.
What can we do to avoid generating IDOC's that are not needed?
    > continue with the change pointers, and filter out non-relevant data via user exit on outbound side
    > switch off change pointers, and schedule PFAL in update mode instead
    > perhaps the root org structure can be specified in the ALE distribution model filter as well so IDOC's generated from change pointers take this into account
Thanks for your point of view on this topic
    Cheers, Linda

    Hi Linda,
In our project SAP is  the single point of truth.  So we are not stopping any replication pertaining to postion and organization unit  in SRM as well as CRM from SAP.
Having said that user is assgined to postion and user has role. As a results if any user doesn't have any role related to SRM and CRM , user will not be replicated. In that case those user deosn't have any authorization to access the SRM systems though their postion and organization unit may be avaialble in SRM.
otherwise : switch off change pointers, and schedule PFAL in update mode instead
    This will be simplest methods

  • Org Structure Replication

    Hi,
I am interested in finding out what replication method people use to maintain the SRM (SRM 5.0 and ECC 6.0) org structure.
Once the SRM org structure is created via RHALEINI , do you continue executing RHALEINI with the correct options on a nightly basis to maintain or synchronize the SRM org structure or do you use the ERP change documents for the  HRMD_ABA message type and only replicate the deltas?
Since both methods work, is there a recommended method?
    Thanks,
    Jerry

We are still on SRM 4 but my guess is that this process hasn't changed.  My experience has been that most customers will work from Delta updates once the structure has been initially created, especially when CUA (Central User Admin) is used to manage change in HR.
In our case we run nightly jobs - in R/3 the job contains program RBDMIDOC, which processes Change Pointers created from HR updates and creates IDocs.  Following this in SRM we runa  job that contains RBDMANI2, whcih processes the IDocs in SRM and updates the Org Structure.  These two programs relate to HRMD_ABA.  And finally we run HRALXSYNC (this one is still a mystery to me - it doesn't seem to do anything - another story).

  • No Range for CP in SRM 7.0  in case of ECC HR Org Structure replication

    Hi Experts,
We have SRM 7.0 , in case of ECC HR Org Structure replication, where we maintan the No Range for CP  ( Employee replicated from ECC) in SRM ..I belive it is External ( In ECC it is at PA04 for Employee )?
    Thanks
    NAP

You need to schedule program RHALENI in Insert mode to achieve the same

  • HR org structure replication to SRM

    Hi All,
we have done HR org structure replication to SRM, and we found that ORG structure replicated successfully in SRM . We can see it in PPOSA. But we found that Business partner number and Central person is not created for this.
I have followed steps given in this link.
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/30139fb0-360c-2a10-1e9f-9d5417754983
When I check IDOC it is posted successfully, when I check segments in IDOC in SRM  it is showing personal number of HR, but it is not converted to Bussinesspartner and central person.
    Any pointers
    Thanks and Regards,
    Abdul Raheem

  • HR Org Structure Replication

    Hi,
Whenw e replicate the HR org structure to SRM, how purchasing groups and purchasing organisations are taken care of.
    Thanks.

Org replication from HR to SRM works fine. You need not create everything in SRM again.
You need to use transaction PFAL

  • Working with HR replication after using local org. structure

    Hello SRM Gurus,
My client have implemented the HR module in ECC 5 and want to use it for replicating it to SRM 4.0.
We're in PROD (using the extended classic scenario) for over a year using a local SRM org. structure.
Have any one encountered with this requirement?
What will be the system impact of this kind of change, in terms of old documents, in process documents etc..?
    Please your advise.
    Raz

    Hi Raz,
The workaround resolution ( not a fix ! ) I have created for a client (but not executed as client agreed to communicate to the users (manually created)....no history etc from go-live date etc.
Step 1) User A ( Manually created in SRM ORG)
    Step 2) User A1 ( created through HR ORG - 0105/0001 )
Step 3) Set on behalf for A1 (means A1 always purchase and see the SC etc on behalf of A) .
Step 4) Set the timeframe for the on behalf feature (i.e say 3 months from go-live User A will be deleted and no on behalf etc). FYI,  history information still exist in database, you may write your own custom code to retrieve it for audit purpose
Make sure User A is deleted from SRM ( I mean SAP User ID ..not just ORG).
Step 5) Change the HR 0105/0001 entry and set the user to User A.
Step 6) You will see the change pointer for it
Step 7) User A is back to business.....
This is the backup plan I have created it. But I have not executed it.....may be when I get time, I will test it....If you /someone happen to test it, please let me know the result.
    Hope it will help you.

  • Org.structure differs on dev and production

    Hi,
I'm developing a workflow and in one of the steps (activity step), I assign agent using organizational structure (position from HR). The problem is, that the org.structure differs on dev system and on production system. Mainly the IDs of position posts differ. How to solve this? Thanks in advance.
    Best regards,
    Tomas

    > thanks for answer, I guess that's the best way of handling such situation. I'm going to creat custom table holding position used in workflow mapped to real position ID from org.structure. Or more generally, holding WF post mapped to org.structure type (position, job, ...) with corresponding ID in org.
I don't see why you need a custom table?
The org issues aside, all that is needed is to assign your org unit to the task. Then leave the agent assignment blank in your WF. Job done.
The other option is to create a dummy rule, which you thought was to be avoided. I don't agree, it takes 5 minutes, less effort than a table, less non-standard stuff ==> less explaining to people how to maintain & easier to troubleshoot.
Edit: Forgot to answer your other question
    > I'm not sure if you consider org. replication the same as transport of org. I was thinking of transport myself, just didn't know the way how to. I've found transaction RE_RHMOVE30 (also acessible from customizing), that should do that, but am not sure, if that's the right one and/or what options to select when transporting. Also, I'm not sure if this would ensure the position/job IDs are the same on both systems.
Replication would be carried out via transports. The RHMOVE* reports can also be used, or you could even set up an ALE connection between DEV and PRD. However I still would not recommend it. The development system is where you would need to create test users and/or org units. The other alternative is to have a master data client. All of these are a great deal of work which only make sense in certain types of environments - certainly not for the sake of a workflow.

  • HR Org Structure

    Hi Sap Gurus,
Can somebody tell me the procedure or provide me the document on  how the User assigned to HR org structure in ECC will be replicated to SRM..
I heard of some T-Codes and Program , PFAL, HRP1001... but i'm not sure about the functionality and how the Process happens...
    As per my knowledge....
    * Security will create a New user and handover to SAP HR team
    * SAP HR team will assign the User to Org Structure in ECC
    * From SAP SRM we use the T-Code PFAL to get the user assignment data into SRM Org Strucuture..
    Correct me if I'm wrong..
In this process I'm not sure of Idoc's we have to use and the what values we need to enter in PFAL screen??
    Thanks in advance

    Hi Sanjay,
Please refer the document fro configuration settings for HR replication.
    http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/50350f29-1db1-2d10-0194-d6a3bf01a5aa?overridelayout=t…
The Part 1 and Part 2 of the document will give you good information in org structures in SRM.
    Hope this helps

  • HR Org structure delta changes not replicating to SRM

    Dear All,
We recently found out for some unknown reason new HR postions and users and HR org structure re-assignments are not replicating down into our SRM org strucure.
We have implemented SRM 4 on Server 5.5. The HR system is running on ECC4.
Does anybody have an idea what is causing this and how to fix this?
We need to get delta replication working in our production environmemt ASAP.
    Thanks in advance.
    Sheena

    Hello Sheena,
I was not on the net last days. :o((
    ECC 4.0, is that R/3 4.7 ex 2.00?
From your post I assume that you already transferred initial organization structures from HR. Is that correct?
Update will use the same filters and number ranges that you have for initial load. As for attributes, I am checking that also, but do not think that you will loose it.

  • Not able to see hierarchial org structure by clicking on Expand this branch

    Dear experts,
I am currently using the Online data extraction via sap for Nakisa Integration with SAP Landscape.
I have completed the configuration of Nakisa with the help of configuration guide and administrator guide - After completing administrator steps the org chart is visible - When i navigate to the org structure i can see the org unit under the org structure root that i configured as an administrator in the general settings section.
When i click the + sign ie on expand this branch i am not able to see all teh org units under the displayed branch.
Can you please guide me regarding how one can view the org structure below the selected branch when i click on expand this branch section.
Manager Personnel Id is not maintained for this org unit - Should the user clicking on the expand this branch be the manager of the org unit to see the org structure.
    Regards
    HKishan

    Dear Luke,
I am not able to see that navigation icons within an org chart box - The org unit that is displayed on clicking the orgchart does have branches in SAP but i am not able to see these navigation icons that lead me to these branches.
Is there any specific step that needs to be done to see these branches.
By the way what is the log file you are refering to is it the "PresentationResources.xml " or is it any other log file.
    Regards
