Replication of material from MM to SRM with only pricing info

We want to replicate only those materials from MM to SRM for which prices are maintained in the MM system.Pls let me know how to get this done.

Thanks for the response.
If I dont want to implement the BADI and transfer the prices from the backend system,In this case:
Suppose user create sc with $300(Price taken automatically from COMMPR01)
PO is created in r/3 with price as $250(Price taken from the Info records in MM)
Here the user budget will be updated as $300 instead of 250 and alo it might change the triggerring of workflows based on starting conditions.Is der a way by which we can replicate the prices maintained in info records in SRM or update the user budget with the prices maintained in Info records in MM.

Credit note from a credit memo with reference - Pricing

Hi Gurus,
I have created a Credit Memo (CR) with reference to an invoice (F2). The pricing procedure in the F2 is copied to CR, following the copy control defined. (what I expected).
However, when creating the credit note (G2), the pricing procedure selected is the one defined for credit notes, and not the one in the credit memo. (I didn't expect this).
I have this config. in the system:
- XD03: Cust.Pricing Proced: "1"
- VOV8: Docum.Pricing Proced: "P"
- OVKK: for the combination of Sales ORgDCH"P"+"1" --> pricing procedure is ZPROAC (this is pricing procedure for G2.
The pricing procedure in the Credit Memo (CR) is ZNETO1.
Copy control config is the following:
- VTFA: G2 - CR.
Copy requirements at header level: 001
At item cat. (G2N): copy requirement: 002 Item/order-related; Data VBRK/VBRP: 002 Ord-rel.credit memo
Pricing type: G
Could you provide any comments here?

Dear Julian,
First of all Copy control does not controls the copying of pricing procedure from one doc to another.
Pricing procedure will be same as per your pricing procedure determination.
It controls the copying of values for particular condition types from one doc to another.
I have created a Credit Memo (CR) with reference to an invoice (F2). The pricing procedure in the F2 is copied to CR, following the copy control defined. (what I expected).
In this case I think Pricing procedure defined for both doc types F2 and CR is same, thats why all the pricing is copied as it is to CR.
if they are not same but all the condition types which are there in pricing poc. of F2 are also in pricing proc. of CR then pricing values will be copied without any change. (Still sequence of condition types in pricing proc. can make diff.)
pricing procedure is ZPROAC (this is pricing procedure for G2.
The pricing procedure in the Credit Memo (CR) is ZNETO1
Since the pricing procedure is different for both doc types, There could be some condition type which are there in ZNETO1 but not in ZPROAC.
Which ever condition types are common will be copied.
I will suggest you to keep pricing procedure same for both the doc types CR and G2.
Or atleast all condition types of ZNETO1 should be there in ZPROAC in appropriate sequence. (ZPROAC can have addition condition types as per your requirement.)

External requirements from ERP to SRM with ExtendedClassic scenario for PPS

My question is whether we can have external requirements ( Material PR and Service PR) from ERP can be processed in the srm system.

We can use either the CPPR functionality which requires PI/XI to be in place or maintaining the T160PR and T160EX tables in ECC and running the report BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER to push the PR's into SRM. In SRM we have to maintain the entry channel to bring the PR's into SOCO.

Transfer product category from catalog to SRM with 2 BE systems

Hello experts,
We are having an issue when transfering products from the SRM-MDM Catalog though OCI, since we have an SRM extended classic scenario connected to 2 backend systems.
When the information is downloaded to SRM, the product category is changed and a "default" is assigned.
SAP has confirmed this issue happens because there are 2 entries in table COMM_CATEGORY for this value (even though they are clearly differentiated by backend system).
In our case, let's say Product Category "OS" (Office Supplies) exists in both backend systems, and it seems the system only searches for "OS" instead of doing a link to the logical system somehow.
How can I implement BADI BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER in order for the system to use the right Product Category? Should I map one the backend system in one of the custom fields or is ir possible to somehow get the backend system in some other way?

Hi Gilberto,
You should use the BBP_CATALOG_TRANSFER Badi to also define the relevent category GUID during transfer, in this way you can make the category unique and the default will not be selected.

Wirelessly stream from macbook to tv with only coaxial input

I was hoping for some help. I travel a lot and end up in hotels with TV's that only have a coaxial cable input. Is there a way and what products do I need to wirelessly stream media mostly video from my macbook to a tv with coaxial input only. I have a RF converter so I can stream from an ipod to TV's like this. But I would like to stream items on my laptop. Since this is typically for travel, I dont need advice about using an apple tv, etc. Was just hoping someone would have been in a similar situation and can offer me some inexpensive and easy to travel with advice. The Late 2008 model 5,1 Aluminum Unibody and the Late 2009 model 6,1 and Mid 2010 model 7,1 White Unibody have a Mini DisplayPort. The Early 2006 model 1,1 through Early 2008 model 4,1s plus the Early and Mid 2009 model 5,2s have Mini-DVI ports.
The Mini-DVI to HDMI doesn't carry audio. If you connect the MacBook using a Mini-DVI to HDMI adapter you will probably need to use external speakers or a 3.5mm stereo headphone jack to RCA sound plugs connected to a stereo system for audio if your TV doesn't have separate RCA input plugs or a 3.5mm stereo input plug for audio with the HDMI plug.
The Mini DisplayPort to HDMI doesn't carry audio unless you have the Mid 2010 model 7,1 and there're no audio plugs on most TVs to work with HDMI since it's expecting audio with the HDMI. Check your TV manual to see if it has audio plugs that work with one of the HDMI ports.

Doesn't sound like your restored from your backup, otherwise pics in your camera roll would've transfer over.
Take a look at the link and double check you did the correct steps.

Is it possible to retrieve photos/video from a smashed iphone, with only the motherboard intact?

My iphone 5 was smashed today, basically to smitherines. The hard drive/motherboard is still intact though. Is it possible to take this to apple and have them hook it up somehow and have them put my photos on a CD or something? if apple doesn't offer this, would a cell phone repair shop or computer repair shop possibly be able to do this?? I have extremely important photos and video on there, and I'd like to get them if possibe..

Do you know of any 3rd party programs to get the info off the hardrive of the phone. Basically, i have smashed the phone as well but the screen is broken, the phone is on and i can hear all of my calls/ txts etc come through only thing is i can see and use the touch screen. So i have taken this to apple and they said even through the phone is still on they cant retrieve the photos.
Now when i plug the phone into itunes i cant do a back up because i cant put my passcode in and when i plug the phone into the pc it recognises it as a USB device and it shows that i have used 14 GB of my phone memory but when i click into the folder there is nothing there so i cant iomport thephots etc
I them went online and had a chat conversation with a bguy at apple and he directed my here as he sadi that he has used a file that can retrieve the files but obviously could say what it was because he worked for apple.
Any heklp would be greatly appreciated as there are 2,500 phots including my engagment

Erasing music from a previous owner with their itunes info

I recently bought an Ipod touch from a friend of mine right before he moved and I created an Itunes account for myself and have even added some more music but now my Ipod is saying its running out of space. So when i tried to go to Itunes and erase some of the old music he had on there it wont let me without his info. He says he doesnt remember so I'm not sure how to get rid of it. Is there any way to remove his music without his Itunes info?

hai to all of u my friends....recently i have learned sap srm 5.0..and now i am practicing in my institute from starting configuration with a fresh client.everything has done successfully except replication of material master.while doing material master replications the system throws an error like" product hierarchy has not maintained" and one more error while executing smq2.. like "exception condition :guid forlogsys_changed"raised....thanks in advance

It seems that the logical system name has been renamed or changed. You need to update the config tables. Fix it using Trx BDLS.

In Material replication alternative Unit not replcated to SRM

Hi Experts,
We have a issue in SRM 7.0. We have replicated some products from ERP to SRM, for some material Alternative unit is replicated and we can use that UOM for creation contracts and SC. But for some materials this alternative unit is not replicated. When we made changes to these materials, replication failed in Bdocs with Below Error.
1.Order unit T is not assigned to this product(For some materials already this Unit got replicated)
2. Validation error occurred: Module COM_PRODUCT_MAT_VALIDATE, BDoc type PRODUCT_MAT.
Please help me to find out the issue.

This is because the Log system entry in your ECC system has been changed after the first time it was setup.
Kindly refer note 765018 to resolve your error.

HR Master data replication from R3 to SRM

Hi All,
I am trying to replicate one orguint from R3 to SRM.
So I do PFAL for the orguint on R3 but when I check the Idoc status in SRM using transcation WE02
under Status Record there are four status as 51 With following messages:
1)HR: ALE inbound processing for HR master data
2)Error: insertion of infotype 5585 (return code 6 )
3)Error: insertion of infotype 5582 (return code 6 )
4)Error: insertion of infotype 1001 (return code 6 )
I also checked in SRM PPOSA_BBP , the orguint is not replicated.
Any tips on this?

This is due to incorrect HR Master Data Maintainanxce...
Plz go to Transactioon:PA30 Maintain HR Master
and maintain/check the Infotypes 5585, 5582 ,1001 etc
that are shown in the Error Messages of reflection of HR Master to SRM
once after maintaining do the replication again using PFAL(Use Insert option instead of Update)

Questions regarding HR Org Structure replication from ECC to SRM

Hi Experts ,
We have SRM7.0 ( SP08) with ECC6 ( Ehp4) having Classic Scenario .
I managed to replicate entire HR Org Structure from ECC system to SRM system. I replicated O (Organization), S( Postion) and P ( Person), which successfully created O, S and CP in SRM with BP for O and US...Refered Note 934372, 312090, 550055 and help link on SDN./wiki.....etc
Now I have below questions in mind.
1. In SRM we requiers Org unit for Company Code, Purchase Organization and Purchase Group...which we set in FUNCTION tab for the requiered Org Unit with Checkbox and value of it and Logical system.....but in HR Org strcuture we do not have such Org Unit....so how to manage/create such these Org Units ( i.e.Company Code, Purchase Organization and Purchase Group ) ?...
Do I need to create these Org unit manually in SRM in PPOSA_BBP ? If yes, can I create these Org Unit above or between these replicated HR Org Units or I need to created it separtly in paralllel to these HR replicated Org Units?
2. If above I do, then what will impact on the delta /change replication from HR integraion ?
3. In ECC HR org Structure there are hundres of employee, out of that I just wanted to send the Postion ( we have postion based security in HR) whom only SRM Role had assigned . How it can be acheived ?

Initially when I repliacted P of HR Org Struture it sucessfully craeted BP in SRM and was CP in Org Structure.
But suddenly , what happned don;t know, when I replicating Employees (P) in SRM , it is assigning to respective Postion (S), but BP is not creating in SRM and in the USERS_GEN for this User, its postion and ORg Unit to whom it assigned is giving below error
Determination of connections to object 'BP' of 'CP' '00000015' failed
Message no. BBP_UM_UI036
I checked all this as per Note 550055, 934372..etc....checked respetcive setting in table T77S0...I checked address alos....but no any clue......IDoC in SRM posting sucessfully....
Can anyone please suggest what should be the cause and solution of it ?

Can we delete the material from SRM ?

In ECC, With MM06 & with MM17 we have marked the materials for deletion but can not completely delete it. still client users shop for those materials and
We have the requirement to permanently delete the materials from respective SLOCs so that those deleted materials will not be available at all to requester for shopping.
Archiving is out of scope. Can we delete the materials from SRM also in commpr01 ? or Suggest any other pointers

Issue during S.cart creation for mtl which are flagged for del at sto locn
as really said, if you delete a material at SL level , srm not validating but SRM validates at Plant level deletion.
Are you in classic oe ECS, However it would have thrown error while creating PO.
How did you delete the material inSRM ?
After you delete a material in SR, what is the status of material ? Is it blocked, Archieved.

Costing run with values for material from info record.

Hi All
there is requirement with my client, that when i run my costing run the values of the components in BOM should be from the latest purchase order.
For this i am maintined valuation criteria as price from info record and sub strategy as gross price from PO.
When i am create a PO the info record is created automatically in background. So when i run costing run the value is picked correctly.
Now when i create a PO with same material from diff vendor the info record is generated, but on costing run it picks the value from the info record of earlier vendor. For this i go and check the conditions tab in info record, ensure its balnk and save it. Again generate new PO and then run a costing run. This time the system reads the latest info record.
My problem is that i want to ensure that during the costing run, system should read the latest info record w/o manual intervention. System behaviour is not consistent when there is multiple vendor and same material info records. Sometimes it pick up the value and sometimes it refers the old info record.
Can any one help me out in resolving this issue. Its critical.

Hi!
Generally first info records will be created with vendor, then PO will be created, based on info records price, price will be updated in PO.
If you have more than one vendor for same material, you have to create info records for each vendor. then you need to maintain source list, where you can fix the vendor. If there is no fix vendor, then you can do schedule agreement with vendors, where you have to give proportionate percentages again each vendor.
Now for costing run :
1. if you have only one info record, the price will take from that info record.
2. if you have more than one info record, you need to mantain source list, where you can tick the fixed vendor, then system will take price from that vendor info record.
3. if there is no fixed vendor and you have maintained scehduel agreement with weightage to vendor, then higher percentage vendor info record price will be picked up.
4. if you have more info reocrds, not maintianed source list or schedule agreement, price will be picked up from first info record ( based on info record creation date).
5. if you have a schedule agreement, but you have given equal weightage for example 50% and 50%, then also system will pick up from first info record.
i think it is clear now.
