Replication of materials from ECC 6.0 to SRM

Hi ,
1 )  Please tell me the steps for replicating the Materials from ECC6.0 to SRM.
2) if we are trying to push the  P.R from ECC 6.0 to SRM  (PDP Scenario) whether the material should be
there in SRM  already?
Regards
G.Ganesh Kumar

Hi Andrea,
I write to pull the master data from ECC as per the guide line given in the link. But there some problem. No master data is being transferred to SRM server from the ECC.
I am stuck in the process R3AS. When I am running the transaction and seeing the status in R3AM1, the indicator shows, the program is running.
But when I see the report through SMQ1, the staus is SYS Failure. on further drill down, The error is " The current application triggered a termination "
Can you help me in sorting out the problem and when I have gone wrong. If you have any documents for step by step procedure for the same, can you forward to my id, darpan2k6 in gmail.

  • Transfer of non-valuated materials from ECC to SRM

I kindly request your help with an issue that I am facing.
The scenario is as follows :
    1. There is a non valuated material X (material type UNBW).
    2. MRP run happens and generates a PR with account assignment U.
    3. Transfer report BBP_EXTREQ_TRANSFER is executed in order to transfer the PR to SRM.
    4. The PR reaches SRM, but the SC is not created instead in SLG1 there is an error thrown, "No account assignment exist. Enter an account assignment".
    5. In the backend now If I try to change the PR i get the error " 6Q204 (Procurement profile 36 cannot be changed).
Is this scenario supported ?? i,e, transfer of non-valuated materials from ECC to SRM.
Kindly let me know if you have any idea on this.

  • Unable to load Materials from ECC to Cloud due to UoM errors

    Dear experts,
We are working to set up the ECC integration with C4C through HCI, we maintained all necessary settings in ECC and HCI.
When we are trying to send Material data from ECC to C4C they are failing in Cloud with error "Solve Configuration Issue in Code List Mapping for field MeasureUnitCode with value PCE", but we maintained all the Material specific UoM in cloud and mapped them with ECC values in Code List mapping.
Can someone give your input in which scenario this error comes and how UoM Conversions gets updated in Cloud, like ECC Material master.
    Thanks & Regards
    Naren..

    Hi Naren,
we have experienced a similar problem when loading materials from ECC to C4C.
What we have seen is that you have to:
    - maintain the basic UoM of the material in C4C
    - maintain all the UoM mentioned in the conversions for the material
    - maintain the Code Mapping for these UoM if the codes are different from ECC and C4C
Nevertheless we had a problem for materials that in ECC in the UoM conversions section of master data have conversions like: 1 MTR = 1000 MMT (1 meter = 1000 millimeter).
In C4C we have activated UoM MTR and MMT, and MMT is defined as 0.001 MTR. So the conversion rate is defined in C4C.
If ECC sends this conversion for the material to C4C we have an error.
We have solved it modifying the mapping in HCI for the iflow *.erp2cod.material.*: in the mapping, the conversion element is not transferred if the basic UoM is MMT and the conversion UoM is MTR.
This is an example and a simple workaround that allows us to load these materials.
    Maybe could be useful.

  • Scheduling agreement from ECC 6.0 to SRM EBP 5.0

    Hi experts
is there a way to send from ECC 6.0 to SRM EBP 5.0 all the kinds of scheduling agreements?
    thanks
    regards
    andrea

    Hi Andrea,
It is not possible to send Scheduling agreements from ECC to EBP.Same is the case with contracts.
You can only upload backend contracts to SRM. Using GOA you can create either a contract or a Scheduling agreement in R/3.
As informed by Usman, when you integrate R/3 (MM) with SUS it is possible to send S.As to vendors via SUS.
Hope this makes you more clear.Clarifications are welcome.

  • RFC from ECC 6.0 to SRM 3.0

Hi experts i'd like to know if is possible to make a RFC frome ECC 6.0 to SRM 3.0 in order to read the Purchasing Groups in the Plant Structure of SRM (ppoma_bbp)
    thanks a lot

    Hi,
Use the FM mentioned in the previous reply. If you want to find all the p groups maintained under one single org unit/node,pass the org unit no of that node/org in the import parameter IV_ORGUNIT of the FM "BBP_OM_DETERMINE_RESP_PGRP".In the export parameter," ET_PURCH_DATA",you can see all the Pur groups maintained under that single node/Org unit.
Only change you will hae to do for  calling this FM from ECC,is make a copy of this FM in SRM and make it REMOTE enabled so that you can call this FM via RFC from ECC.

    Hi Sebas,
The following link shows the replication from CRM to ECC. The same can be followed for replication from ECC to CRM.
Replication of Z table from CRM to R/3 - No mBDoc Created
    You can also try this
    1. Create the Ztables both in ECC and CRM
    2. create customizing adapter objects in R3AC3.
    3. copy the stanadard FM 'CRM_BUPA_MAP_ADREREG_CI' to custom FM and write source code. load object in R3AS.
    4. create a variant and shedule the based on requirement

  • Errors while replicating Materials from ECC to SRM

    Hi All,
I am trying to replicate materials from R/3 to SRM, in SMQ2 of SRM, the status of MATERIAL is still in yellow colour. when i checked in SMW01 tcode, the error is "Category for material group 013 does not exist" where as in R/3 also we dont have any material group as 013.
All the Prod type & Prod category have been replicated into SRM from R/3.
And no materials have copied in SRM.
    how to resolve this ?

    Hi,
DNL_CUST_PROD0 & DNL_CUST_PROD1 were in green colour now,
DNL_CUST_BASIS3 is in yellow colour & i saw in some doc that DNL_CUST_BASIS3 is not reqd from SRM7.0 onwards.
when i try to replicate MATERIAL, in SMQ2 i am getting status as SYSFAIL & after double clicking on that i got a pop up as "Error in Mapping (Details: transaction SMW01)"
Upon checking in SMW01 i got the above errors as
" Category for material group 013 does not exist
    Message no. COM_PRODUCT_API002
    Diagnosis
If material groups are used in the SAP system, they must exist as categories in CRM/EBP before you import materials. When Customizing object DNL_CUST_PROD1 is imported, the material groups are imported automatically and created in the category hierarchy R3MATCLASS (material group).
    Procedure
Check whether the material groups have been imported successfully and exist as categories.
    Proceed
If necessary, import the Customizing object DNL_CUST_PROD1"
Like this its showing 19 material groups and all these 19 mat groups were not present in ECC.

  • Sales data not replicated for materials from ECC

    Hello Experts,
When creating a meterial in ECC, the same gets replicated to CRM 7, but the data maintained in the sales tabs of ECC is not getting replicated to the CRM material master Sales & Distribution tab.
I have already maintained the corresponding ECC sales org in CRM sales org, in Tx PPOMA_CRM, and also other attributes.
    Thanks in advance,
    Vicky

    Hi Vicky,
Before trying to download Material from ECC, one has to transfer customizing objects (e.g., Basis Components, Organizational Management (for example, transferred the sales offices), Sales and Distribution (for example, transferred the product groups))
Then one has to map the ECC sales office data with CRM org structure.
Please recheck if you have done all the prerequisite steps to download material in the following help link:

  • Replication of Quotations from ECC to CRM

    Hello Experts,
    The scenario is as follows:
I am required to replicate all the quotations from ECC to CRM.
My question is: what are the various middleware settings to be done?
I have created a transaction type for quotation by the same name in ECC and CRM so far.
It would be great if I can get help on the following:
    1. What are the item categories that I need to maintain on both ECC and CRM side for Quotation?
2.What action profile do I need to maintain on ECC and CRM side for quotation?
3.How should the number ranges be defined on ECC and CRM side for quotation?
    4. Do I need to do a Cross-Copy Control of quotation from ECC and CRM at the transaction and item category level?
    5. Do I need to assign the Quotation Type (ECC) to ERP Profile on CRM side?
6.Can the transfer of quotations from ECC to CRM happen only after replicating the product and customer data from ECC to CRM?
What more needs to be done?
Once the settings are complete and fool-proof,  I know I can run an Initial Load (R3AS) on the object: SALESDOCUMENT from R/3 to CRM.
What are the filter settings to be maintained in SalesDocument Object?
Experts, this is my requirement and all the pointers would be greatly helpful.
    Many thanks,
    VSK.

    Hello
Please find below my reply :-
    1. What are the item categories that I need to maintain on both ECC and CRM side for Quotation?
    >> You can make a Z copy of the standard Quotation Item categories in ECC and CRM.
2.What action profile do I need to maintain on ECC and CRM side for quotation?
    >> Action profile settings are specific to your business scenario. You need to define ACTION Profile in ECC. In CRM you can have an ACTION PROFILE and assign it to the CRM Transaction Type
3.How should the number ranges be defined on ECC and CRM side for quotation?
    >> If ECC is a leading system for quotation creation, the number range will be EXTERNAL in CRM and assign this EXTERNAL number range for CRM Quotation Transaction Type
    4. Do I need to do a Cross-Copy Control of quotation from ECC and CRM at the transaction and item category level?
    >> Yes
    5. Do I need to assign the Quotation Type (ECC) to ERP Profile on CRM side?
    >> Not sure on this. Requesting other experts to answer this.
6.Can the transfer of quotations from ECC to CRM happen only after replicating the product and customer data from ECC to CRM?
    >> Yes. The master data such as Material, Customer, Pricing should be downloaded to CRM, if the quotation needs to be replicated to CRM.
    Hope this will be helpful.

  • Replication of CUSTOMER from ECC to CRM

    Hi CRM Guru
Is that anyway to download the partner function (sold-to, ship-to, payer, bill-to, employee) in the customer sales area data from ECC to CRM (created as BP relationship in CRM) in the INITIAL LOAD?
    For example:
Customer in ECC 100000000 have the partner function in the partner function tab under the sales area data
    SP Sold-to = 100000000
    SH Ship-to = 100000001
    PY Payer = 100000002
    BP Bill-to  =100000003
And create those relationship in CRM under the Relationship area.
    Please advice.
    Thank you

    Hi.
If what you are trying is to replicate the partner functions as relationships, first be sure that you have replicate the customer (the main and the others on partner functions sales areadata) using the middleware object CUSTOMER_MAIN.
Then run the object CUSTOMER_REL for the main partner. This will result on the relationship creation at CRM side, representing the partner functions on R/3 site.
Be aware that if in R/3, the main partner represents all the partner functions, when it is replicated into CRM, the system does note create a relationship to himself, but this not means that the partner can be used in sold to party, payer, ship to and bill to partner functions on documents.

  • Replicated vendor email address from ECC 5.0 to SRM 5.0

    Hi All
Currently, we are trying to replicate vendor email address from ECC to SRM. We use Vendor Master – General – Email (SMTP_ADDR) to store different email address
    1. ) Case One
    - Vendor email address for vendor account receivable
    - Vendor email address for procurement
    - Vendor email address for return invoice
Our system : SRM will only replicate defaulted vendor email address ( Standard Number )
Question : Is it possible to replicate all email address ( the above 3 email address).
    2.) Case Two
When we only one email address for vendor account receivable, we don’t want to replicate to SRM.
Question: Is possible to block this vendor email address and do not replicate to SRM ?
    Thank You

  • Transferring Search Help values from ECC 6.0 to SRM 7.0

    Hi SAP experts,
I have a requirement to display the search help values for a data element in ECC 6.0 into the custom data element that I created on SRM 7.0.
Is there a BAPI that I can use to retrieve the values for a search help element (for example SH_ANLKA) from the the ECC into SRM?
Your advise would be greatly appreciated!

  • Import vendors from Ecc 6.0 to SRM 7.0

    Hi experts
i'd like to know if there is a guide or a blog where it is illustred the way to import, for the first time, vendors from R3 to SRM-EBP
Is needed only BBPGETVD? and for the update?
    regards.
    andrea

    Hi,
The initial load from ECC system to SRM system is done by the transaction BBPGETVD.  Here after the changes for vendor data is replicated to SRM system by the transaction BBPUPDVD.
    T-code BBPGETVD,
    a)      Specify the RFC destination of the R/3 backend in the System field
    b)      Specify the vendor number or range to be downloaded
    c)      Enter the purchasing organization
    d)      Enter the object ID - this is the object ID for the Vendor unit in the organizational structure as defined in PPOMA_BBP
    e)      Select "Transfer Only R/3 Numbers"
    f)      Click on Start Transfer
    Transaction BBPUPDVD
In this transaction you will update vendor master data into SRM to replicate the changes, if any, from back-end ECC system.
    a)      Specify the RFC destination of the R/3 backend in the System field
    b)      Specify the vendor number or range to be updated for any changes done in the backend vendor master
    c)      Enter the purchasing organization
    d)      Enter the object ID - this is the object ID for the Vendor unit in the organizational structure as defined in PPOMA_BBP
    e)      Select "Transfer Only R/3 Numbers"
    f)      Click on Start Transfer

  • Replication of Customer from ECC to CRM --- Multiple A/c Groups

    Hi Experts,
I am trying to replicate customer master data from ECC6.0 to CRM7.0 and vice versa. Replication is up and running right now for only one Account Group (GEN-Z created for business) in ECC.This A/C Group (GEN) is mapped to BP Classification "Customer" in PIDE.
Now, I want to replicate customers with 5 other A/c  groups to CRM as well. In PIDE, I have maintained a total of 6 entries for a/c groups to classifications (ECC to CRM). All 6 A/c groups are mapped to "Customer" classification.
This "customer" classification generates customers in role "Sold-to-party". For STP role mandatory fields have been matched to GEN A/c Group.
My main issue is how do I make sure there is no mismatch of customer fields in ECC and CRM as All other a/c groups that have also been mapped to the same "Customer" classification in the same way as A/c Group GEN. Problem would crop up because, there are diff set of fields kept mandatory for different a/c groups.
From CRM to ECC, I can select the relevant a/c group from "Classification" tab in role Sold-to-party.
But, there would be the same problem of mismatch of mandatory fields between Sold-to-party and all other a/c groups.
Is there a solution to this problem. How can I make sure replication works for multiple A/C Groups too.
    Thanks and Regards
    Varun Taneja

    Hi Robert,
I read that in some other post too, it worked for someone. But here it is, I would like some advice from you...
Suppose, I have 2 A/c Groups... X and Y, both with different mandatory field settings in ECC.
Now, In BP field grouping on CRM side, I have made field settings(mandatory etc.) according to X A/C group. So when I select, X from classification tab during BP creation, replication would be successful.
And, if I select Y from classification tab, it would give an error "Fill in required mandatory fields" since fields have not been synchronized with Y. How can I take care of this issue.
Also, for ECC to CRM, how do I select multiple classifications, it doesn't allow for more than one entry for one classification.
I hope I am clear about my requirement.
    Please share your feedback.
    Thanks and Regards
    Varun Taneja
