Replication of SAP R/3 Account Settings to BW

Hi Guys/Gals,
we're using BI 2004s... & our R/3 is 4.6.... the requirement is we want to migrate a few of our FI reports from R/3 to BW (due to performance issues).
On r/3 the reports are done on "Report Painter" & it's something like this.....
Figure A (some set of accounts & functional areas)
Figure B (some other set of accounts & functional areas)
Figure C = Figure A + Figure B
The Functional Consultants will be making changes on R/3 to the Figure A & B ... so  on R/3 Figure C will be ok as it's derived from A & B.
We want these changes to be reflected on BW with us manually doing any changes on BW....
how can we achive this ???

Hi Jansz,
I could see a way..to me it looks like...the reports where the user is making
changes would be saving some where back into the database table is't it..
If it is true, then all you need to do is identify the sources of these reports interms
of tables, make a view with one or more tables combination, create a generic
data source and then try to pull the data from these reports...
I guess even handling of delta could also be easy, since the user is making changes in the figureA (values) keeping this in mind, you can setup the delta
of the field as Numeric pointer.
Hope it would throw some lite on the issue..
Thanks=points.

  • In Thunderbird, I cannot send email. I am asked to enter an email address in Mail and Newsgroup Account settings but when I click on this option, nothing opens.

I can connect to Thunderbird and receive email. However, I cannot send emails. When I press send (either from replying to an email or entering an email address manually) I get the following error message:
    Sending of message failed.
No sender specified. Please fill in your email address in the Mail & Newsgroup Account settings.
When I click on the menu option within the email message Tools/Mail & Newsgroup, the message minimises and the programme returns me to my inbox. There is no Mail & Newsgroup setting on the mail programme.

Do not delete the old account yet. sign up for an iCloud account if you haven't.
I understand .mac mail will still come through. Do not delete the old account yet.
You cannot use .mac or MobileMe as type of Account, you have to choose IMAP when setting up, otherwise Mail is hard coded to change imap.mail.me.com to mail.me.com & smtp.mail.me.com to smtp.me.com, no matter what you try to enter.
iCloud Mail setup, do not choose .mac or MobileMe as type, but choose IMAP...
On second step where it asks "Description", it has to be a unique name, but you can still use your email address.
    IMAP (Incoming Mail Server) information:
              •          Server name: imap.mail.me.com
              •          SSL Required: Yes
              •          Port: 993
              •          Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
              •          Password: Your iCloud password
    SMTP (outgoing mail server) information:
              •          Server name: smtp.mail.me.com
              •          SSL Required: Yes
              •          Port: 587
              •          SMTP Authentication Required: Yes
              •          Username: [email protected] (use your @me.com address from your iCloud account)
              •          Password: Your iCloud password
Also, you must upgrade your password to meet the new criteria:  8 characters, including upper and lower case and numbers.  If you have an older password that does not meet these criteria, when you try to setup mail on your mac, using all of the IMAP criteria listed above, it will still give a server error message.  Go to   http://appleid.apple.com         then follow directions to change your password, then go back to setting up your mail using the IMAP instructions above.
    Thanks to dpepper...

When trying to update  Apps in iTunes on my computer my old Apple ID appears, which is no longer in use and has no password; even when I try to create a password for this Old ID, Apple won't let me. When I go into see my Account settings My new Apple ID / iTunes ID are listed and the passwords are correct obviously so why can't I update my Apps?   Why does my Old apple ID keep appearing and how can I get Apple to change this?

I have the same problem - it is maddening. I rely on this iPad for work so this is not just an annoyance! The above solutions of changing the appleid on the device or on the website do not work.
The old email address no longer exists - I haven't used it in a year probably and I no longer have the account.  I logged into the appleid website and there is no trace of the old email address so there is nothing that can be deleted or changed there.  On the iPad there is no trace of the old email address so nothing can be deleted there either. I have updated the iPad software and the same problem comes right back.  Every 2 seconds I am asked to log in using the old non-existent email.  The device is currently useless.
The only recent change to anything was the addition of an Apple TV device, which was set up using the correct login and password.
Does anyone have any ideas? The iPad has been backed up to the iCloud so presumably it now won't recognize the current iCloud account? So restoring may notbe an option?

  • HT4859 After the i-cloud server issue Nov 26, 2012, I had to change some mail account settings to get my i-cloud mail to work again.  However, all of my received e-mails are gone.  How do I retrieve my e-mails from the server?

After the i-cloud server issue yesterday, November 26, 2012, my i-cloud mail account on my Macbook Pro stopped receiving mail.  I changed some mail account settings to fix the issue, and was able to start receiving e-mails.  However, all of my historical e-mails are gone.  How do I retrieve all of my old e-mails from the server?

What settings did you change, what were the changes, have you visited www.icloud.com to see what mail is actually there? and do you have a backup?

  • Mail account settings on iPad 2, using Proximus provider ?

I've entered the same account settings on my iPhone 3G and on my iPad 2. Everything works fine on iPhone.
On the iPad the message i get when sending a mail is: "A copy has been placed in your outbox. The sender address xxx was rejected by the server"
Anyone knows what the reason can be ... And how to solve it ?
Is "server port" 110 correct ?
I'm working with OUTLOOK on my business PC and need to sync between both.
    Many thanks,

Apple suggests deleting your current Mail settings on your iPad and configuring Mail from scratch. Make sure you know your settings before continuing.
Under Settings/Mail, Contacts, Calendars, start entering your data. Start off with your email settings, and confirm they're correct and fully working. Next, recover your iCloud Mail settings, also making sure it's correct and working fully. Make sure it's the me.com account.

  • IPhone Users Email Account Settings Change Somehow and Reply to All CC's themselves

I have an odd one here for sure.
I am an exchange administrator for a organization and we believe that since getting iPhone 6's two of my execs have had
an issue where their iphone AND their ipad have issues.  It is reported that a reply to all will cc themselves on every email and we found that when looking at the mail account settings the username actually changes from [email protected] to [email protected]
We see this on both of the devices (iphone and ipad) and we feel that it began when they two execs got their iPhone 6's.
I will also add that we do not have any way for these devices to communicate with our internal network other than just ActiveSync.  There is no internal wifi network or anything like that.   We have updated the device to the latest version of iOS
and we just migrated their mailboxes to Exchange 2013.  I will add that this happened on 2010 as well and the migration just happened to be occurring during the time that we were trying to resolve it.  It has been going on for quite a while, but
is starting to make a scene internally.
We have since found that some of our regular users have this issue as well, but no one in our IT staff has seen this.  I am an Android user, but the rest of my staff are iOS users.
Anyone seen this before?  Any ideas?  How could this just flip the account settings like this?

  • How can i change the county in my account settings ?

    Hello,
i´ve been an exchange student last year and bought my ipod in america. I want to change the account settings where i live but i cant. It says i have to spend my money i still got on this account. But i cant because i dont have activated the bank account in america. What can i do to solve this problem ?

    Hi 7oaksGaz,
    1) Due to tax reasons, it's not possible to change the country associated with an existing Adobe ID.
Follow the steps mentioned in the below link as a workaround to create an Adobe ID with the email address you currently use for the existing Adobe ID.
    http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/change-country-associated-with-adobe-id. html
    2) You can change the language of the application from AAM preferences
Please find the link below for the article with the steps

  • Game Center 'Account Settings' window keeps crashing.

I have an 8 GB iPod Touch 4 running IOS 6.1.5, and I recently decided to change my game center username. But, there's a glitch or something in game center now, when I opened account settings in game center, the window appeared for ONE second, then went blank and started 'saving', even though I hadn't even done anything. I thought maybe I accidentally clicked 'save', so I tried again. Same thing happened. Now it's impossible for me to edit my game center account settings because whenever I open it, it starts saving nothing and then, two minutes later, exits the window. The only way to bypass this (albeit for about five seconds) is to madly swipe the screen up repeatedly until something appears. Is there a way to fix this?

    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Sign out of Game Center and then sign back in
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
iOS: Back up and restore your iOS device with iCloud or iTunes
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.

  • Mobile account settings & home sync

I've learned recently that introducing a MacBook into a corporate Windows world is easier said than done, but I've been fairly successful. One problem that has occurred recently (maybe due to a recent update) is that I can no longer access the Mobile account settings in my Accounts preferences. I setup the first MacBook Pro around the first of March. I successfully assigned a networked location as my home folder, and it synced just fine.
Now I've setup a second MacBook Pro today and found that I can't access the Mobile account settings in the Accounts preferences. Going back to my original MacBook Pro, I get the same thing... greyed out. I click on the Home Sync button in the toolbar and I click on "Sync Now" and I get no response. I see that it shows my last Home sync was on 3/4/10.
I don't have an OSX server here, we're using Active Directory on a Win2008 server. No specific rules have been assigned to these machines, but the accounts are Active Directory accounts.
Anyone have an idea why I can't use the home functions? These are new 15" MacBook Pro models with 10.6.3 software.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
I got the same problem with our second Mac. But after activating it in: System -> Library -> CoreServices -> Menu Extras and then HomeSync.menu, it became editable.
Does someone know how to change the server folder that the mac will sunc with?

  • How do i change my account settings

How do i change my account settings on my MacBook Pro if i want to change it ALL to my new accont?

Hi, I am having the same issue. I need to compeletly change the account on my mac. I am on The OSX Mavericks.

  • Windows 8 upgrade lost all my account settings

I just upgraded from Windows XP to Windows 8 and it deleted my Thunderbird program. SO, I reinstalled it but I've lost all my account settings and e-mail folders.
I stored my e-mail folders in another location, and they're still on my harddisk, but I no longer see an option for controlling where the e-mails are stored in this version of T-bird.
Do I have to manually recreate all my e-mail accounts again? And, after that...how do I get it to read my e-mail folders? I have thousands of e-mails that I must have access to. This is a disaster!
    Please help.
    Thank you so much!

Thank you for your reply, but I don't think I was clear with the problem. I can find the account settings option. The problem is everything that was there before I installed Windows 8 is gone. I have to manually re-enter all my e-mail accounts, but all of my old e-mails are not showing up. I can get new e-mails (if I re-enter all the account information), but I have thousands of old e-mails and folders that I cannot access.
How do I get those folders back "into" Thunderbird? It doesn't allow me to import anything. I am only given the option to import from Outlook, and I don't even have outlook.
I was storing (at least I THINK I was storing) my e-mail files on a separate partition of my hard disk, and I THINK it's all still there, but there's no way to access those files for some reason on my newly installed Thunderbird.
