Replicator issue
Hi,
I have created a moving shape from the center of the screen directly up (y direction) off the screen. I then added a Replicator with the hope of animating an array of them using the angle controls to make them all animate off the screen in a sun-like burst direction (from the center). It seems that the Replicator makes them all animate in the y direction not matter what I do. I have tried the "line" and "circle" configuration without any success. Am I doing something wrong?
Does the Replicator not deal with single object animations like AE does with the Repeater? If so, I guess the solution would be to animate my shape all within the Replicator. Is this the correct approach?

my object is a red dot, hit L to make it a Replicator, then....
'Shape' of replicator is circle, for sure
'Arrangement' needs to be Outline
apply as much 'Points' as needed (here: 11)
and varying/key-framing/ramping the Radius 'explodes' the replicators.
Finally, key-frame group to move upwards....

Can anyone tell me if they were able to set up a replica and have it work with no issues?
For myself I am finding I get errors after so much time has passed. The only fix is to demote and promote back to a replica. Now maybe this is where my problem is? I notice on the OD master the replica server is still listed even though its not connected. I saw in another post someone else also has this issue.
Is there a way with out reinstalling the OS to set OD back to install standard? I want to take that replica OD portion and reset it back to scratch.

This of course is very concerning as it seems the replica is not right, and from when I have done this in the past, the OD never works right or correctly. Is anyone else seeing this? Or is this supposed to occur?Sergio,
This is definitely a problem with your client application. The consumer replica always returns referrals on updates and the referral contains the list of masters.
It is up to the LDAP client to interpret that list. It may or may not fail-over when the first master contacted is down. Or it may take much time.
What client API are you using?

I am trying to configure a consumer replica running DS 6.3, in which the master is currently configured with DS 5.2 p4. I get the follow errors when trying to intialize the consumer and send data.

First check the replication status from the master to the consumer
dsconf get-repl-status
( i always run a list-repl-agmts and cut and paste the suffix consumer part and it verifies you have a replication agreement)
you'll probably see an error about authentication
Then you'll have to run the
dsconf accord-repl-agmt command to sync the password between the two. -
When i try to create master to master replica through startconsole & after creating replication agreement when i try to initialize remote agreement through Action Button i get following error Message:
"Remote replica of selected agreement has not been initialised for this replica.
The last replication update message was:
Incremental update session has failed & require a total update- System error. Error Code: -1"
Any suggestions?I can use remote console to see the actual console. However I can not log in using Remote Manager on that particular server. I get the login screen.
It gives me a Login Error! Username or Password invalid. Please try again.
This is when I use admin.<context>
When I try to connect via the iManager, it gives me Service unavailable with a 503 error.

Issue with the partialTrigger on ADF Table
Jdeveloper Version 11.1.2.3.0
I have replicated issue with partialTrigger on the table component. Sample application can be downloaded from here . It needs HR schema to run.
In below sample pageFragment, I can try refreshing adf table in two ways
1. Set addEmployee button's id in partialTrigger of ADFTable component.
2. Set addEmployee button's id in partialTrigger of PanelBox component.
Note the difference - 1st one doesn't work where as 2nd works fine. Do we have any additional constraints when refreshing ADF table using
partialTrigger ?

Indeed it worked. But I have two queries now :
1. We are adding employee record using a method called through method action Binding. So shouldn't the bindings be aware of the same .. i mean sychonization of binding layer should happen when method action binding is used ?
2. Why it works when i apply partialTrigger on panelBox ? Why "employeesViewImpl" code is not required when I apply partialTrigger on panelBox ? Is it a concept that iterator is reexecuted when you refresh parent component ?

Calendar app that will synch between iMac 10.6.8, iPad 2 and iPhone 5
I am looking for a calendar app that will synch my 3 devices (iMac 10.6.8, iPad 2 and iPhone 5). I tried upgrading my iMac to the latest version, whatever cat that is. I hated it ANd it didn't synch properly. Most events duplicated and some up to 5-6 times. I might have stuck it out and tried to figure out the replicating issue but I despised the entire interface to downgraded back to 10.6.8. I am thinking there has to be an app out there that will successfully synch calendars between these devices but from my search in the App Store, most seem to be geared to mobile devices only but I want to be able to see my events when I am at home on my iMac, too. Does anyone know of an independent app that will do this?

Business partner not created in SRM in HR-SRM integration
Hi All,
We are setting up SRM HR integration set up with ALE idocs message type.
I ve done configuration as per guide available in SAP.Setting up parnter profiles,maintaining message types in both the systems ,mainyaining entries in tavle T77S0 for HRALX , maintaining filters in distribution model in BD64. When I start replicating the data using PFAL in R/3 ,the idocs triggered are green in both R/3 and SRM for org units ,Postions and also Persons.
Still i dont see BP created for most of the employees.Only few are getting craeted.When I check the log in SLG1 it says Marital status could not be converted.
I maintained all entries as per the entries available in R/3 in SPRO-Cross application components- SAP Business Partner-Business partners-Natural Persons-Maintain Marital status . Still i rceive the same error in SLG1 and BP is not getting craeted with idoc in green in SRM.

On SRM side using WE05 transaction see the failed IDOC's to get the complete details of the error. As you are saying that some of the users are successfully replicated issue may be on the ECC side HR info type relation ship missing. Ask your HR team to check the same.
On ECC side check table HRP1001 to see the difference between the successully replcaited users and one which failed.

O365 OWA & Outlook 2010/13 shared mailbox - duplicates when moving items

Issue: I have noticed an issue whereby a duplicate mail item is created when a mailbox is shared between 2x users and the users move mail items at the same time (or within a short period (say 30seconds) before the next sync). Both users have the O365
email account programmed directly into their Outlook (not using sharing permissions).
Replicated issue: If user1 moves a mail item from say the inbox to a folder, then (within 30-60seconds) user2 also moves that same mail item from the inbox item to another folder (before the sync of user1's actions show up on user2's Outlook),
then a duplicate of the email is created in both folders. I can replicate this issue in O365 OWA, Outlook 2010, Outlook 2013 and on different O365 tenancies.
So my questions are:
1. Is this is a limitation of Outlook/O365 sync capability?
2. What would be the best option to stop this from occurring, assuming both users need to access the same email information?

Online Mode is the legacy method of connecting to Microsoft Exchange. It is a fully supported configuration in Office Outlook 2003, Outlook 2007, and Outlook 2010. Online Mode has value in certain scenarios in which the behavior of Cached Exchange Mode is
unwanted. Example scenarios include the following:
“Kiosk” scenarios in which a particular computer has many users who access different Outlook accounts and the delay to download e-mail messages to a local cache is unacceptable.
Heavily regulated compliance or secure environments in which data must not be stored locally for any reason. In these environments, we recommend that you evaluate Encrypting File System (EFS) or BitLocker in addition to Cached Exchange Mode as a potential
solution.
Very large mailboxes on computers that do not have enough hard disk space for a local copy of the mailbox.
Very large mailboxes (greater than 25 GB) on which performance considerations become an issue in Cached Exchange Mode.
Virtualized or Remote Desktop Services (Terminal Services) environments that run Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2003. Cached Exchange Mode is not supported when you run Outlook 2007 or Outlook 2003 on a computer running Remote Desktop Services (Terminal
Services).
Virtualized or Remote Desktop Services (Terminal Services) environments that run Outlook 2010 on which disk size or disk input/output (I/O) limitations prevent running Cached Exchange Mode at the desired scale.

ITunes hang or kernal panic when minimizing "video viewer" pane
Does anyone else have this happen?
When playing a video in iTunes in the minimized view (small pane in lower left), if the button to hide the pane (which says "Show or hide item artwork or video viewer." if hovered over) is clicked, the pane begins to slide down, stops part way and hangs for an irregular amount of time, sometimes eventually completing, and sometimes resulting in a Kernel Panic.
This has happened for as long as I can remember, through various OS and iTunes updates.
I try to avoid using the button at all, and if I need to minimize it I generally try to select a song first (to switch the pane to showing album art) so I can minimize it safely.
If anyone has experienced this and/or solved it, I would love to hear about it.YES!!! I have the exact same issue. Minimizing iTunes Video Viewer pane causes two replicable issues:
1) system slows to a near halt and then resumes normal activity when opening or closing the pane, and
2) kernel panic.
Looking at my logs now I find a different entry for each issue. When the computer crashes (i.e. kernel panic), the /Library/Logs/panic.log reads:

When the computer grinds to a halt but doesn't crash, the system log reports
kernel[0]: Graphics chip error! Restarted. <note: message repeats 8 times in the log!>
My guess is either a video codec is screwing everything up or the graphics card has gone sour. I tried eliminating the latest Divx and 3Vix codecs but the issue continues. I have installed some other codec libraries (ffmpeg and others), I am going to weed out as many as I can to try to eliminate the issue. Otherwise, it's off to AppleCare for a new graphics card. -
Added Link at messageLovInput through personalizaton and getting error

While creating work order in eAM, Material Requirements secon is there, there we can find Item messagelovinput field. My clients wants to check Item details while selecting the item (long desc, on hand quantity etc..). For getting this functionality developed one custom page with item details and calling that page using link at item lov.
1) added link at results table of Item lov and given at destination URI as follows
OA.jsp?page=/xxnwc/oracle/apps/eam/workorder/webui/XXNWCItemDetailsPG&addBreadCrumb=Y&org_id={@OrganizationId}&inv_id={@InventoryItemId}.
Issue
1) open Item lov click on go --> we will get item in results table --> click on item details link --> open new custom page
2) click on quick select at item then getting error like as follos

Hanimi.I'm a great fan of problems magically fixing themselves ... always breathe a sigh of relief if that happens during a troubleshoot.
I was wondering about trouble with a piece of album art initially. But if that was afoot we'd expect the synch to be always dying on the same song (or songs from the same album).
Perhaps it's just that the USB connection is getting grumpy during a *really long* sync. If that's what is going on, we could be able to make some progress by moving the music across in smaller batches.
Switch the iPod over to manually managing content. Select a chunk of songs ... say, about 1.5 GB-worth, and copy them over.
Does that complete successfully? If so, select another batch of about 1.5 GB, and copy them over, and so on until you've got the songs on. Once you've done that, you can switch her back to your preferred auto-sync settings.
Any better luck getting stuff on in stages like that? -
10.9.4 Server client logins hanging
I have a new MacPro running 10.9.4 with Server 3.1.2. After running for a few hours, it stops accepting new logins until I restart it.
I've been seeing errors from xscertd-helper in the system log, with what looks like a randomly garbled entry at the end of the line (this garbled text varies each time I restart the Mac):

This machine was in the box a couple of weeks ago, and the server & OS is a completely fresh install with all new users, connecting to a new SAN for storage. Sessions are AFP. We're using network home directories stored on the SAN.
I'm looking for suggestions on what might be wrong, and where I might start debugging the xscertd-helper errors.

R.Okay, some progress. I started looking around for the error message in Google and ran into this posting: Replica Issues
This seemed to suggest that a person with a replication problem was getting almost exactly the same kind of errors. Between that and the fact that I was seeing some errors related to contacting one of my replica servers, I decided to nuke the replica and see what happened. As a result, the xscert-helper error seems to have cleared up and I'm no longer seeing any warnings related to the replica server, either.
Next step will be to recreate the replica and see whether the errors recur. -
If I enable alarms in iCal preferences, the iCalHelper process spins itself into oblivion at 100% CPU until it crashes every time it runs.
I have tried deleting the plist files relating to iCal and backing up/deleting/restoring my calendars but to to avail.
This problem seems to have been triggered by my machine having it's date reset to 1980 following a logic board replacement but I can't be sure.
Any suggestions will be gratefully received.

For the time being I've ticked "Turn off all alarms" in the Advanced panel of iCal's Preferences. Meanwhile, I've tried the following solution - though none of them seem to have worked:
(1) delete all calendars and reset from mobileme (resulting in all calendars being deleted from mobileme too...so I had to restore iCal calendars from a backup on my harddrive)
(2) resetting iCal calendar from mobileme (again the problem persisted).
I've also called Apple Care and did I number of things with them (incl. booting into safe mode, flashing video ram, creating a new user account and replicating issue there, deleting all plist files related to iCal in ~/Library/Preferences and ~/Library/Calendar) but unfortunately to no avail.
Can anyone please help?

Hangs on boot with Logitech wireless keyboard
I am running Windows 7 on a Thinkpad W510 and just bought a Logitech S520 wireless keyboard and mouse.
When I try to boot, the system hangs at the Thinkpad splash screen.
I updated the BIOS to the latest version but it had no effect. I also changed the boot sequence so that USB boot was after HD boot.
This had no effect and the system still hangs on boot.
If I remove the USB receiver the system boots fine and I can then insert the USB receiver and everything works propely.
Is there anything that I am missing? This just doesn't make sense.
Thanks for any further suggestions.I have the newer port replicator (issued July ?? 2010) and it is always plugged in to USB 2 port. From the port replicator I go to a powered USB hub. In the later I have the transmitter for my Logitech mouse. I have never tried the Logitech transmitter directly in my laptop so can indicate whether that would hang my system and at least right now I'm not interesting in trying it.
