Replies to my emails from others- being sent to incorrect email account

I am having issues receiving reply emails from friends to my yahoo email account- don't know where to start.
Palm Treo 800.
Set up Yahoo as email account on my device.
used to use a hotmail address, and when I send out emails from both home and my device, when I receive replies from friends/colleagues somehow the replies are going to my hotmail email.
They tell me they have deleted me as a hotmail contact but still replies are going automatically to hotmail.
I use microsoft outlook express and think it has something to do with when I set up that as an account. I don't know how/where to troubleshoot but I know when I set up Outlook Express I tried to sign up using my hotmail account but it is not supported?

Check the outgoing mail server settings in your account on the Treo and see if it is set for your yahoo account.
Make sure it is not set for the Hotmail account.

If you still have problems, create a new account on the Treo for your yahoo account and delete the current account.

On your iPad: Settings > Messages > iMessage off

Oh my! I am sorry to hear that your device is not sending emails. I know how important this feature is, and I will certainly get this resolved for you. Is this only your MSN account that is not sending mail? Have tried using gmail? There is an Hotmail application in the Google Play Market that can be downloaded as well. You can also check the Outgoing E-mail settings on the device to make sure you have the correct setup of the email account:
Outgoing Mail Server Name: smtp.live.com
port 587 (either SSL or TLS depending on client being used)
Username requires full email address (e.g. [email protected])
Password is the Windows Live ID password.

Add your phone number and set it as the default to send messages from.

No bounce being sent for expired groupwise account

We have a weird situation in that an undeliverable message is not being created/sent for any GW account that has been expired for one sending domain only. For other domains, the undeliverable message is being created/sent. Any thoughts on what to try?

I updated to the iOS6, and it allows you to view and send messages with any phone on iOS6 and linked to your iTunes account. You can unselect phones so they dont go out through the phone, but is there a way to block other phones from adding yours? Example, I don't ind being able to see what my son is sending/receiving on his phone but I don't really want him to be abe to add my phone and see all my messages...

I have the same problem as described in earlier posts ie sudden and unexplained increase in broadband use followed by a £5 charge. On investigation it emerges that alerts had been sent to an email address totally unknown to me and not the primary email as listed in my profile last ten years. Fruitless conversations with Customer Care team who say it cannot be changed although a BT error. When passed to Technical Support for further attempts the line predictably goes dead. Informed - in writing - they do not have an email address I can use!
How can I change the incorrect email address being used by BT for alerts?
Why is my broadband allowance suddenly being exceeded when I never download films, music etc?
Is one of the moderators able to help me please?

I sent some emails from one of my email accounts and now it shows that these emails have been simultaneously sent from two of my email accounts

I sent a few emails from one of my accounts that are set up in my Thunderbird. Now I see that they have been sent from two of my accounts, simultaneously. It shows them in both Sent folders and with the respective email address as sender.
Those email accounts have been set up in my Thunderbird for a long time now and have been working correctly until now.
How can I prevent this from happening again? I don't want to send people messages from two different emails at the same time.
I'd appreciate any help on this.

In my case, TB is sending a copy of all my sent mail to the account that is associated with the smtp server. I have four accounts that I check via TB and the sent mail is being kept in the original folder and also in the sent folder of the account to which the smtp server is connected. If I change the smtp server from one gmail account to another, the sent mail follows. I then have two copies of the sent email, one in the original folder and one in the smtp server account's sent folder. I only want the one in the original folder. How do I stop the sent email from also being saved in the smtp account sent folder?

Email being sent through Facebook on iPad mini?

Could anyone please help me to correct an email problem? Messages created in my email account are being sent via my Facbook account and my friends are only receiving my messages in Facebook. I have reinstalled the Facebook app but this did not resolve the problem. I think the problem may be with the way the email account was set-up.

FYI: there are settings in the Settings app for Facebook that control this.You might want to make sure they are turned off.Optionally, you can include the facebook email address in t contacts, but make sure they are not teh default. For myself, I have that turned off. Not a big facebook user and prefer to keep integration with other apps and the iPad at a minimum.

How do I remove an OWA email account from my E71

I need to work out how to remove a OWA email account from my E71. I have seen various replies for removing email account but not for OWA.
I have already looked in Installations --> Emailon3 --> but the account I want to delete is not listed there.
Have also tried Communic. --> Messaging --> Options --> Settings --> E-mail --> Options --> Delete but the delete option is not there.
I need to remove the account because I changed my account password at work and then was unable to update the password in the phone, I had to install the account a second time to get it working again. Any suggestions for avoiding this in the future also gratefully received!

In the Messaging application, it seems from your description that you didn't go deep enough: Options > Settings > E-mail > Mailboxes.
There choose/select/highlight the mailbox you wish to delete and hit 'C' (or Options > Delete).

No that was not it. I was signed into my iMessages under my email address as soon as I signed out others can now receive my texts under my number. Thanks for the help though

Why are my replies to emails being sent as attachments instead of continuous threads?

When I reply to or forward an email it is being sent as an attachment instead of a thread. I want people to be able to read all the replies without having to open an attachment. I don't have this problem when I use I.E. 9 or 10. Can't find any settings to change this in Firefox or Juno Web-mail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I just downloaded Firefox 31 today and would like to try it for a while. Would older versions of Firefox not have this problem?

I understand that Firefox is a Web browser, but it does effect the way some processes are handled...e.g. when you download new software or plugins Firefox doesn't allow you to open them, it saves them and then you open and run it. ('''unless there is a setting I don't know about''') I.E. lets you run them without having to save them first. Again, as I mentioned about my original problem above, why does I.E. not attach replies and forward messages to an email, and Firefox does???.....making it harder to read all the replies at once. In other words, you need 2 windows open, one to read the attachment (group of replies), and one to read the latest reply. Maybe it is something with Juno and Firefox....I don't know. It is important to understand that Mail uses TWO servers, a Receiving Server and a Sending Server.
When you create a new mail message, or reply to a message, the Sender server is shown in the message composition window like this:
That drop-down window allows you to select which of the Sending Servers you previously set up should be used.
In general, once you choose a Sending server, its choice will "stick" for all future replies to messages from that Receiving mailbox.

After I changed my gmail password my outgoing emails are no longer being sent from my gmail account, but are being sent from my spouse's account so that replies go into her inbox, not mine.

You may have a corrupt preference, in order to correct this open Mail - Preferences - Accounts and re-input all the preferences for the account. While they may look ok one or more may be corrupt.
