Reply and send button look active, but do nothing, Safari also troubled

I do not get any errors that I can't send, Connection doc. indicates all connections are good. Emails just sit in the draft box. Also, when typing, my space bar forwards me to the bottom of the email field in Mac Mail, or the bottom of the web page in Safari. Additonally, the cursor doesn't move when using the space bar, but the space is there. When I start typing after this, sometimes my typing is backwards, it actually starts typing right to left, this also happens in Safari, but not always. The delete key sometimes highlights the text, and then, in Safari only, the program quits.
I had issues long ago with the version of MS office (2003) and OSX 10.3, but I don't remember what resolved this, I think it had somethng to do with a plist. This only happens to my main log in. Other log ins seem to be fine.

After installing, reboot holding down CMD+s, (+s), then when the DOS like prompt shows, type in...
applejack AUTO
Then let it do all 5 of it's things.
At least it'll eliminate some questions if it doesn't fix it.
The 5 things it does are...
Correct any Disk problems.
Repair Permissions.
Clear out Cache Files.
Repair/check several plist files.
Dump the VM files for a fresh start.
First reboot will be slower, sometimes 2 or 3 restarts will be required for full benefit... my guess is files relying upon other files relying upon other files!
Disconnect the USB cable from any UPS so the system doesn't shut down in the middle of the process.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

Hi, try this...
If nothing is showing in the Toolbar at top, click the little gray oval at top right.
Right click or Control+click on the Toolbar, choose Customize Toolbar, drag the Send button to the Toolbar.

MSS form Check and Send button

I am working on a MSS form object which changes the last name of an employee. The form has basically two fields - Current Last Name and New Last Name. Current Last Name is READ ONLY field whereas New Last name is user entered one. Problem is when I am trying to execute from backend (Executing via HRASR_DT), I am able to change the last names of any PERNR. However, in the portal, I am able to see the form, enter new last name, but when clicked on "Check and Send" button at the bottom of the form, the form goes in some infinite loop..it doesnt show me the "SEND" button at all..it shows me waiting symbol and finally I have to close the browser to relogin again..Did anyone of you faced similar issue? How to avoid it?

You can try to reboot a few more times. If it doesn't come back and you normally sync to a computer, hook it up and see if the 'guts' are working even if the screen isn't.
Beyond that you should make an appointment at your local apple store and have them check it out.

Connect to iTunes and try to reset it from there.

I receive a text from someone but it has an e-mail address at top of message. When I reply and send , it gets returned. Why? and how was original message sent?

I have downloaded I-Cloud and the new ios program. Where do my text go through now if they don't show up on my bill in the data usage section? When I get a text from friends sometime their e-mail address shows at the top of the message instead of their name like it use to. Then when I reply it gets returned. They tell me they are sending it through the normal text like they use to.

You are probably right - I don't have my iPad with me and was confusing myself. But on the iPad it is receive at email addresses only.
Sending to the phone number will mean ONLY your iPhone gets the message. If you want it to go to ALL devices, then you should have them send to the email address associated with the AppleID you used to set up iMessage originally. Also set that email address up as your caller id on the iPhone so as you send out messages, people will reply to that and both your devices should get them.

what if you just type in a 10-digit phone number on the iPad instead of an email?
(I originally did all this with iOS 5.0, and I know then the number did not work on an iPad, but maybe with iOS 5 updates, it does now?)
