Reply Status of Operator Messages

Hello Experts,
We are using SAP CPS Build 28.17. In CPS I notice that when a process server is shutdown, an operator message is created and I notcie that Reply status is "Not Required". But in our production system, the operator message is created when the Process Server is shut down and the Reply Status is "Required". I wanted to know where do we mention or setup in CPS that an operator message has to be replied to or should not be replied...Can you please help me with this.

How to filter the operator message reply options in the popup dialog

when a step comes to "request restart" handler, operator has to reply the operator message.
by default there are 7options:"Abort chain and set chain status to 'Error'", "Restart this step" ......
in our scenario, for many job step request restart handler, operator should only choose "Return status handlers as if this step was completed with the status 'completed' " as ignorance the error or"restart chain from the beginning" as re-run from the beginning. Mis-operation would cause unexpected error.
so, I want to know, is there a way to set a filter, so that in same operator message reply dialog, there are only some options we needs.
I know the filter(if exists) can not prevent all mis-operations. but it really is a way to reduce the possibility.

You can Ignore the message if the message is of following types:
If no message type is given for the rule with this mode in column MSGTYP, all application log messages are ignored.
If a particular message type (A, E, I, S, W, X) is specified, application log messages with exactly this type are ignored. If you want several message types (but not all) to be ignored, specify several rules with this mode and the message type to be ignored in each case

Reply/forward to a message from iPhone, Outlook does not show status

If you reply to a message from iPhone, Outlook does not show status (if replied or forwarded the message). The iPhone indicates the reply/forward icon however in Outlook I would have no idea if I responded to that message.

You're right. Had not noticed it before. Hopefully Apple will fix this in one of their future releases.

Nokia N8 (Belle) Operator Messages

Hi.
Before the software update from Anna to Belle I could setup my phone to receive operator messages like adding a 050 subscription which will display on the homescreen from which antenna the phone signal is received.
I can't find this option to setup after the Belle update.
Any help would be very much appreciated,

It was working before the Belle update.

Make Deletion Status for Operation in Prodcution Order

Hello Experts,
Is there any Function Module or BAPI to make status for Operation as deletion in production order. i.e I0013 is the status for the operation.

Let me explain the process we are following
I have two operations in an order.
Operation 1) Control Key M111(Internally Processed) - One component attached for this operation ( its a not stock item)
PR, PO and GR has been done and no issues in that.
Operation 2) Control key M222( Externally Processed) -
a) One Service attached with this operation which i want to delete from the order.
b) One Component also attached ( non stock item) and PR , PO, GR has been done for same.
For point a : Service is present in PR but not released therefore no PO , GR is done.
Now when i try to delete this serive from the operation then system does not allow me to do so. Also i want to delete from PR too and again i was not able to delete from it.
Please let me know how this can be possible.

User status at operation level

Hi,
I have created one user status profile and attached in order type. In this profile I have included Operation and Order header as an "Allowed object type"
My problem is when I am changing user status at order level , it is not getting changed automatically at operation level.
Pls suggest me the solution.

I dont think it is possible .
A suggestion not sure if it works .
Assign user status profile operation wise and then have some development to check the operation status and
then update production order status with same user status you mentioned in operation.
FM: STATUS_CHANGE_EXTERN will help you to change the user status of order.

Hi,
You can do it via OBA5 transaction; enter the application code, and put an entry for the message setting the flag to warning. Keep in mind, that not for every message it could be done.

My iMessage does not appear to be working. Every time I go to reply to an existing message it just appears as normal text. I have tried to create a new message but it still just defaults to normal messages. I have checked my settings but looks ok. Help?

Try the following:
In Finder, select the problematic volume and then press command-I.
Expand the Sharing & permissions section if it's collapsed.
If the section is locked, then unlock it by pressing the padlock button and then authenticating as directed.
Tick/check Ignore ownership on this volume.

Error in idoc of basic type artmas05 - status 51 with Message no. MG537

Hi all,
I tried to upload the material master table through idoc creation of basic type artmas05. But when i'm trying to do that i'm getting status 51 with Message no. MG537. then I analysed the application log which displays the following
*The field MARA-MEINS/BAPIE1MARART-BASE_UOM(_ISO) is defined as a required
field; it does not contain an entry
*The field MARA-TAKLV/BAPIE1MARART-TAX_CLASS is defined as a required field; it does not contain an entry
*The field MARA-TRAGR/BAPIE1MARART-TRANS_GRP is defined as a required field; it does not contain an entry
*You have not fully maintained the tax classifications
*The field MAW1-WLADG/BAPIE1MAW1RT-LOADINGGRP is defined as a required field; it does not contain an entry
But i hv given values for all the above fields in their respective segments.So can any1 suggest me how to proceed further.
It would be helpful if someone could tel me the required fields in idoc to upload material master table through idoc.

Error: "Operation (Message) Mapping ... does not exist" during activation

Hello Colleagues,
I face following problem at our PI 7.1 System.
After import and activating Integration Builder (Directory) Objects I received the Error "Operation (Message) Mapping ... does not exist" but the object (s) exist at Enterprise Service Builder (Integration Repository) at respective Software Component Version.
The individual Product and respective Software Component Version was created at SLD and imported at Enterprise Service Builder (Integration Repository). Afterwards Namespaces with different objects was created incl. the missing Operation Mapping.
As Check:
When I try to import under menu Tools\Apply Model from ES Repository at Integration Builder (Integration Directory) i see onyl SAP (SAP BASIS 7.1) Software Components.
I am not able to find any object regarding the individual created Product\Software Component.
So, i asume objects from the Enterprise Service Builder (Integration Repository) aren't available at Integration Builder (Integration Directory).
SLD cache refresh and application restart already performed.
Any idea?

attached short steps that we performed.
In general in upfront:
This behavior happend after import objects from DEV to TEST for Enterprise Services Builder (IR) and Ingegration Builder (ID) in addition manual object creation at SLD for Technical Systems and Business Systems.
We don't have (currently) a central SLD for each environments DEV, TEST, PROD (not finished setup up to now). For each environments we have a local SLD at PI (XI).
Deployment steps:
- Product and respective Software Component Version created under Software Catalog
- objects creation at SLD for Technical Systems
- objects creation at SLD for Business Systems
- objects imported from DEV to TEST for Enterprise Services Builder (IR) incl. save and activation
- objects imported from DEV to TEST for Integration Builder (ID)
- manual configuration for communication channels performed
- after save and activation i received following error message: "Object Operation Mapping: ... does not exist.
Because of this error message I thing objects out of the Enterprise Services Builder (IR) aren't available at Integration Builder (ID) but i don't know the cause.
Could you help me to understand this behavior?

Is there an overview in SAP to get the status of an inspection lot per operation (other than QE51N). I've an operation for each laboratory. I'd like to get an overview of the status per operation. If not which tables should i use?

IOS 6 : upgraded to latest facebook. It prompted 'Include your location' when i tried to reply my friend's message. Can't close the prompte message either type message, hang. And forced to close facebook application by pressing the button.

I have upgraded my Iphone 4S with iOS 6. Today, I upgraded it with latest facebook ( integrated with contact, photos etc) . However, when I tried to reply my friend's message in facebook, it always prompted 'Include your location', i could't close it either type message to reply the message. I tap on the screen, no response. Nothing can do beside forced closed the application by pressing the button.

Is it possible to use a non-null sender in auto-reply / out of office messages?

I am using a smarthost that blocks null senders by default. They have indicated that they can provide an override for our server to allow null senders, but the e-mail from null senders will go out a "high risk" IP that is likely to get
blacklisted because e-mail from null senders is triggering more blacklisting as of late. I would prefer to make Exchange populate the sender field on the outbound auto-reply / out of office messages. Is this possible?

How can I check work process status from Operating System in Unix. For example : In Windows, I can see the work process status from SAP MMC in WP Table.

Hi,
You can terminate. Please look into the menu given by DPMON carefully. You can kill the process using the k option.
Otherwise you can also kill the process kill -9 <PID of the process>.
Please do not terminate update and ENQ work process. This may lead to data loss. If the condition can not be control by killing some processes and again all the WPs are occupied. I recommend SAP system restart.
Restart will ensure that all necessary roll backs happen and no data loss.
